Located an acceptable distance from downtown Saratoga and the racetrack, about 10-15 minute drive. Rooms are nice, clean. Building only a few years old. Staff very nice. The included breakfast is one of the worst Continental free breakfast I've ever seen at a business style hotel. When the yogurt looks gross. The scrambled eggs are rubbery and green. Fresh bananas and toast with jelly or butter are only thing edible. Not the same fault, they are nice and keep it clean but the food is terrible. Even the coffee is awful. So try to eat somewhere else or grab a coffee somewhere else, but the rest of the hotel is very good.

Normally I stay at a Residence Inn however a previous stay at a Hyatt in Orlando was so good I decide to try the one in Malta. Big mistake.

On the plus side, the staff is very friendly. The rooms however have seen better days. Furniture and coat hangers were all scratched, carpet was coming up and the bed and pillow VERY uncomfortable.

If this was an $80.00 room, perhaps the above would be acceptable. At almost $200 a night, the Hyatt in Malta is a very poor value in my opinion.

I love the room. The shuttle to track. the friendly staff. Every one of those kids were great to us. So helpful. nice breakfast. Only negative is no tvg in room. we went to see the traverse and no room has horse channel. that is nuts to me. But would go back in a minute, everyone help with whatever we needed, we even miss the shuttle and they paid for a cab for us to get to track .Great job guys and girls

The rooms were very nice. They included a sitting area. The room was clean. The hotel allowed our dog. They gave us connecting rooms. That was convenient. We had 2 rooms one for my son's and one for my. Breakfast was included and was a decent selection.

Room was very comfortable, but the girl at check in was a little short and there were ants in the pool room. The hostess the second day was wonderful though.

Great suite, comfy, clean. Wifi was included and fast. Breakfasts were good, staff were very friendly. I'd pass on the dinner though, it was only adequate - there are some very good delivery options.

this Place (pun intended) is great. The rooms are surprisingly luxurious and spacey for the price. They don't have a restaurant inside but they have a little bar that serves food which works well in a pinch. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was about average for free breakfast - eggs potato, cereal and bagel / pastry options. Overall highly recommended for the surprisingly nice rooms.

We had to stay here for 3 nights while searching for our new home and it was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The staff was amazingly friendly and super accommodating. The beds were soft and the shower was huge. Our towels and complimentary toiletries were changed daily and the bed was always made which was so nice to come back to after house hunting. And lastly, probably our favorite part, was their breakfast. Every single morning we looked forward to it. Thank you so much to all the staff and we might now be Hyatt Place goers for life.
