Great hotel! Conveniently located, just off I-90, in Castleton, NY. Attractive hotel. Lobby is cozy and inviting. Rooms are clean and well kept. The beds are comfortable. The free breakfast is great and so is Joyce! The staff is usually very friendly and helpful

Dec 8, Fri night Comfort Inn, Greenbush/Albany NY
Arrived Friday afternoon and she told us the pool was undergoing maintenance but should be ready by 230=it was 250 at this time.
Went to the room and it was a rewards night and the room was very spacious along with a sitting area. Pool was large, we have stayed here prior. Plenty of lights in the room.
Hot tub jets did not work-weird because they were doing maintenance on the room. Bathroom sink my husband said had cracks in it. After returning from dinner we stopped at food area but there was no hot water for tea nor cold plain water.
Not sure who's in charge but there were many around just chatting with one another. Surprised to see housekeeping there til after 9pm cleaning rooms. They were not noisy.
Woke up at 330am and thought it was another fire alarm as when we stayed the previous but was just a car alarm. DIdn't make it back to sleep at that point.
Love the breakfast lady, nice to talk to and she never sat down, always cleaning and making sure there was enough food for those arriving. Filled out a sheet to nominate her for the apple award for being the best hostess after tipping her.
Nice Christmas decorations around the inside of the hotel.
If we visit the area again will try a different hotel in the same chain.

Came to check in a little after 7pm. We were told that the room wasn't ready (really??) and that the front desk person "had no idea when it would be ready" and it "would probably be a long time". When I questioned this he replied "It isn't my problem". I cancelled at that point and asked that the points I used for the room be put back on my account. After 25 minutes of fruitless effort on his part I called the rewards program myself (the crack staff couldn't figure out how to make a phone call??) and the other front desk person took the phone and worked it out after another 10 minutes. Total incompetence and a complete lack of caring or responsibility. You've got to be kidding!!

We stayed here for a wedding (rooms blocked by the bride and groom). It was absolutely terrible. We did not complain because we didn’t want the bride and groom to feel bad. We arrived at 4 pm and were supposed to catch a 4:30 shuttle to the wedding but our room wasn’t ready. I had booked a king room for my husband and I and they put us in a room with two full beds because that’s all they could get before the shuttle. The room had stains all over the carpets, the refrigerator was missing, stains on the toilet seat, holes and stains on the walls, and a hole in the corner just above the shower. I have pictures of everthing. Wish I could post them here. The lobby is gorgeous, but he room was nothing like the lobby. If we hadn’t been with the wedding, we would’ve demanded our money back and gone somewhere else.

Check in was a nightmare. We arrived after traveling for a wedding and rooms not ready at 3 pm. Some wedding guests rooms weren't ready until 5pm. Groups of people near the front desk because you had to keep going back to check if your room was ready. Rooms need updated. Stains on carpet, wallpaper falling off in bathroom. Closet doors broken.
Lobby and breakfast area we're nice. Breakfast was good and food was plenty.

Beautiful and good pricing, I wish all the handicapped rooms weren't right next to each other though so we could stay next to our family.

We rented the bridal suite. It was without a doubt the dirtiest room we have ever stayed in in our life. A cup of water was accidentally spilled on the kitchen floor i used a towel to wipe it up the towel was left black with filth and dirt from the kitchen floor. the rugs are filthy. The chairs are greasy and filthy. The only clean spot in this room was a closet. There were no sheets on the pullout for my son to use. There was a dirty washcloth under the pullout mattress from whom ever stayed before. Any bridesmaid that walked around barefoot had to wash their feet before putting on their wedding shoes. Our wedding was set for 5 they would not allow us in u till after 3! Mind u there where 6 girls that needed hair and makeup. There where 2 shuttles to drive us to the venue. There was gum on the rug and my dress was distroyed. I would never recommend this filth spot to anyone. The front desk woman was nice and kept a smile on her face as she informed me oh hun I'm sorry I can't do anything for u! We travel allot and stay at many hotels I would never ever let anyone rent a room there again!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Long story short there was a funky smell in our room, and a industrial fan right outside of our door. When I asked about the smell and the reason for the fan. I was told there was too much "cleaning product used." I didn't believe it and on further inspection mold was found in the bathroom. Needless to say I made arrangements to stay at another hotel from the next day. When I checked out, I was told that there was a pipe that leaked across the hall the week prior to my arrival which would explain the damp funky smell. And i was staying in a "suite" which cost me 180$ after completing the survey I got a e-mail from the manager saying sorry, no compensation offered. Needless to say I am currently on hold with Choice hotels head office. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I was in attendance of a birthday party in the ballroom, and stayed overnight. I had a problem with the iron in the room, and it was attended to by staff quickly and without issue. All the staff was pleasant and helpful when needed. Also very courteous and accommodating to ALL our family guests from out if town, including the children.I'll recommend and stay again

Room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, the shower was a great size. Everything was as you would expect, but no one, or nothing went the extra mile to warrant 5 stars

A somewhat dated facility with hard-working staff who go the extra mile to help guests. Nice pool spa! Convenient location to the Route 90.

Right off of exit 10. The hotel was nice, the bridal suite was very pretty and suitable for some photos, and the regular rooms were also nice. The service was good, both the housekeeping and front desk were very kind.
