N-A-S-T-Y!!! MOLD SMELL HAIR ON THE SHEETS!! THUS PLACE NEED TO CHANGE THERE NAME TO NASTY!! NASTY ASS CARPET. MOLD SMELL!! SMALL BEDS!! OLD SHEETS! REMOTE FOR THE TV DON'T WORK!! NEVER AGAIN IF I HAVE TO SLEEP IN MY CAR!ON TOP OF THAT THE PARKING LOT IS DANGEROUS SOMEONE CAN HIT A PERSON CAR COMING IN THE LOT! CLOSE DOWN!!!! They should have a Zero star!!

We stayed at LA Quinta Inn off Two Notch Road in NE Columbia for the SC vs. Flash game. We were traveling with our dogs. Everyone on the staff was super friendly to us and our dogs. Nice roomy suite to be our home for the weekend! Will definitely stay here again!

I must say, my past experiences with La Quinta Hotels have been positive. However, driving up-I knew we were in for an unfavorable stay. . .The outside (parking lot), wasn't well kept. The entrance area was dirty. The staff were very friendly and courteous, so I thought, "Okay, it'll get better." IT DIDN'T! Upon entering the room, we noticed the small wood floor was 'sticky'. Someone did clean the area after we asked. . .
Later on, I turned on the shower in our room, and the water would not drain down the tub, so I spent a considerable amount of time trying to get the water to drain so I wouldn't have to shower in standing water. Afterwards, I asked my husband to phone the desk to report the problem. Someone came up to the room immediately to plunge. She said it was 'good to go' and left. When my husband checked, the water was still not draining properly. We ended up changing rooms!
Some needed improvements: Add breakfast meat to menu, clean/sanatize walls and doors in rooms, and thoroughly clean bathrooms, better pest control (I had to kill a small roach crawling up the wall!)
Unfortunately, I probably won't be booking with La Quinta again. . .😖response / report this review -

La Quinta is a staple anywhere for the traveling dog owner—they are all pet friendly with no fee. That said, this is not a luxury experience. It’s a comfortable room on the go. A little rough around the edges but clean, friendly staff, good showers and fresh towels. Know what you’re in for and you won’t be disappointed.

Arrived and was greeted by front desk lady with a smile. Getting into my room was quick and easy. Parking was great and the room was clean and comfortable. They really know how to take care of hurricane evacuees and their families. Thank God for businesses that care, like LaQuinta Inn & Suites!

We visited some family who were staying at this hotel. Honestly, the area the hotel is in appears to be a bit sketchy. I'm not from Columbia so I cannot say for sure but that was the impression I got. The hotel, on the other hand, was surprisingly nice. The common areas seemed to be we'll kept and clean. I entered 3 different rooms and all appeared clean. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. Overall, I'd be a little hesitant to stay here on a long stay but this hotel would be a good spot for an overnight stay.

Absolutely wonderful, friendly staff. Beds were so comfy, especially when so far from home. We were displaced by hurricane Irma, and La Quinta and their staff were there to make us as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was great as well. Also loved that they were pet friendly. I cant say enough good things about them. Thank you again for making our stay comfortable for our family.

It was a beautiful stay here and it was a wonderful staff. The pool was outside and they were under construction when I went but the staff was still wonderful and understanding. If I ever had to come visit this I would definitely stay here again. The bathroom was nice all the lights worked the bed was a little hard for me, but I like a really soft bed. There's also a vending machine as well.

Okay for a night or 2. Breakfast was good with good options at 730 am. Room was sufficient. Bed was comfortable. Dog friendly hotel, would suggest tile or wood for floors, remove carpet, lots of stains on carpet. Bed comforter was dirty, went to front desk and they replaced right away. Staff very nice and helpful. Pool onsite. Overall, good experience

Clean room. Good customer service. The hotel area wasn't clean. There were trash bags sitting outside the side entrance. Good stay, but the outside feel and look of the hotel can be improved.

We love this place! Every time we travel, we stay here and it is very clean and friendly. They also don't charge for having a dog.
