Nice motel but no fridge or microwave. Should have provided these at the asked room price. Fairly minimal breakfast but everything was clean and well managed. Our room was clean and spacious also.
Gross hotel! Got in very late, and had called hotel to inform them when we would arrive. When we arrived it took 20 mins to simply get checked inclerk was VERY slow, said she had started something on the computer, and we had to wait until it finished! She did no apologize, or talk to us about her difficulties, even when we showed her our printed reservation. Didn't get to our room until well after 2am. The room was filthy! Smelled like BO and old cigarettes. Had to wipe down the drawers before putting clothes awaythey were filthy with hair and dust in them. Tiles in bathroom cracked, no stopper in sink. The carpet was gross and dirty, and I had to clean my feet before getting into bed. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Second night we were there a very loud and obnoxious gaming group were staying at the hotel, and were loud and going up and down the hallways, and yelling in the parking lot into the wee hours of the morning. Only stayed in this hotel because my husbands elderly parents were staying there and needed to be close to assist them. Only bright spot was the friendly disposition of Ruby, who worked in the lobby areasuper friendly.
Your hotel is a terrible reflection on all La Quinta hotels!
Bed bugs. Sat down on the bed exhausted from traveling from CA to MA. Most hotels are decent this is not. I see all these mixed posts. It's good it's bad blah. The staff responses blah blah. I hate to be rude, but when people come to a hotel they are trying to find refuge while they sleep comfortably. Close any infested rooms. Vacuum properly. The floors are dirty, it is musty, there are bed bugs. Very disappointing.
Very pleasant stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Being pet friendly was our deciding factor. My dog was given treats at the front desk. Staff members were all friendly.
The hotel is pretty dated; I knew that going in but it was still in poor shape. The carpet had stains, and the beds were small and not all that comfortable. We had a two room suite, which was very nice given the two bathrooms. Breakfast was standard but the area was crowded, so it was hard to get at the food that was there. Staff was friendly and were clearly working hard. It was a reward night so I'm not sure how much it cost normally.
I don't have the heart to give less stars because the staff was so incredibly friendly.
Our entire floor smelled musty. It looked like the floors hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time. My son was crawling around the room and when I picked him up, his hands, knees and feet were black. The coffee maker in our room had hair and dust all over it.
The area was sketchy (and I'm from Chicago so nothing shocks me). Some drunk guys were in the parking lot and that's fine, but then they started asking for cigarettes and money and that's where I draw the line. No means no. Obviously that's not the hotels fault, just a heads up.
Again, the staff was super polite and wonderful but the lack of cleanliness was disappointing.
I came in with very low expectations but what I didn't expect was a staff that doesn't care about guest safety. Checked into my ground level room at midnight got settled in but noticed it sounded like my window was open. Checked the window and found the window pushed off the rails and could not lock. Basically an open door to the outside on the ground level. Front desk clerk never apologized and made me feel like I was making a big deal about it. Said no rooms available to switch but when I pushed she "found" one. Just an awful experience. I expect this clerk to try and fill the room even before they fix the window. Beware room 128.
The rooms weren't terrible, however it wasn't in the best of locations. I would say from a La Quinta standpoint it definitely wasn't the best I've stayed in. I mysteriously ended up with several bug bites following the stay and I'm not sure I can 100% say it came from the hotel but it is worth noting. For the price, if you really need a place to rest for a night, this may be a spot to try but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again.
Room was nice. Service was good. Breakfast was just ok. Shower not so great. No water pressure.
I realize you get what you pay for so for the price it's at least a decent place safety wise and the room did what we needed it to for the one night we needed to stay. Staff was pleasant. However, there is a very prominent smell to our room. I can't pin point it but almost like if you mixed a very strong potpourri and old lady bar soap it takes my breath away to be honest and it's so strong I can taste it in my mouth so that is very unpleasant. I don't know if they tried to cover something up or what in here but I don't enjoy that. And I could tell they didn't switch out all the pillow cases because there was still hair on one of them. It also seems to be a large truck stop hotel. We were able to walk to dinner which was nice, but you really only have dennys, steak and shake or outback to choose from. Free breakfast too. But it was cheap and got us through the night for the most part. I wouldn't make it a regular, long stay though and probably will find somewhere else for our next trip.
Nice staff. You get what you pay for but the room was still decent. The shower head needs to be cleaned cause half of it would not spray. Multiple restaurants right next door. I would stay again.
