Really nice sales people without any high pressure! Willing to answer any and all questions because they know a satisfied customer is their best asset. I recommend this dealership highly to anyone and everyone looking for a great vehicle!
This place has sooo gone downhill since it's had new owners. I'm talking mainly about their service department. Back when All and Meredith ran service, I could call on a Monday to get service work done on Tuesday. Now, I call on a MONDAY MORNING and service is booked through next week! That's nothing more than poor management. If this place offered to GIVE me a new car, I wouldn't take it because their service is so poor.
wanted to share my experience at La Grange. I had a really excellent experience there looking for a new car that would help with my new commute to work. I couldn't afford a "new" car, but a pre-owned and I was weary of the fear of it being ridden with issues or not truthfully informed from the dealer. Well I went over to La Grange Country Dodge and I was greeted right when I walked in! I had never been to La Grange before, so my experience with them was totally new. There are a few things about them that I noticed were different from other dealers I had purchased from in the past, since I move around a lot for work:
They were very relaxed and laid back. I was definitely being sold on the right car for me that they had but it was the smoothest, most comfortable sales process I have ever experienced. I was totally sold on it, from the salesman, the finance manager, to the paperwork clerk. They were so smooth and relaxed about it and that was nice to be given such a smooth experience.
The dealership was cleaner and more well kept than what I’m used to, but not in a way that was too clean or too flashy. I thought this was going to be a real down-home, small, local type of ma and pa place, and I was expecting it to be a little scruffy and scuffed as a result. Not so. The building and the lot was very clean and well kept, but it wasn’t too slick if that makes sense. It feels like a family run place and you become part of it when you go there.
I was especially impressed with how easy the staff there were to work with when it came time to work out the details of the car purchase. They really took care of me, not trying to rush a sale, you know? They helped me and worked very closely to within my budget. I appreciated the team work and the customer service.
This might be a little longer than what most people tend to see regarding an automotive dealership review, but I wanted to really press those three points home to people who are interested in using this dealership in their next car buying experience. I would strongly recommend La Grange to anyone who needs a new or preowned car.
I was quite so impressed with my experience at Lagrange Grange Country Dodge that I wanted to write a review about that. I do not usually write reviews, so bear with me. My experience going to a car dealership is not always the most enjoyable thing to do. Conversely, it can often times be quite annoying. When you go to an automotive dealership you often get the feeling that you are just being pressured and pushed into something, and nobody likes that. I know I don't. But going to this dealership was an entirely different experience. I wish all of the dealerships out there were more like this one. These guys were not pushy or salesy at all, and they simply worked with me, and they helped me find the exact right car for what I was looking for.
I know basically all dealerships claim to be able to offer a family, local, small, sort of community approach to how they do business, but that very often is not the case. At Lagrange Country, this is exactly how they operate it. They were just sort of friendly and nonchalant too and not really pushy about how they did things. They did not try to hard sell me on any one car or push me in any one direction for a car. They simply helped me look at a few different cars, and test drive a few cars. I was actually very impressed with how they operated and I will definitely be going back for my next car and for service on the car that I did buy from them. If I had to narrow down my feelings about Lagrange country dodge to the the three things I would say that made the most difference in my feelings about them, I would say it was:
Right off the bat the staff are just phenomenal. Very well-versed and very kind, not at all pushy or shovey, and they didn't make me feel like if I didn't buy a car from them that day that it was going to be the end of the world. Instead, they sort of just helped me look at a few different options, and they made it very easy for me to pick and decide and choose on which one as to which one was going to be the best one for me. They were not at all forceful or pushy or shovey with me as far as how their approach to the whole sales process. I really appreciated that. Also, the inventory that they have at this location is really great too. I was actually quite impressed with how much product they had for such a small dealership. Really the inventory was quite impressive. They had a little bit of everything, and I was able to test drive multiple vehicles that I was interested in. That to me was truly fantastic.
Last but not least, the whole negotiations process was also really easy too. Most the time that's just not that easy or workable or effective to try to get the type of deal that you want. With them though it was really easy. My hat is off to these guys and I will definitely visit with them again.
Looked at a used challenger that was a great deal so I put down a two hundred dollar deposit to hold it so it wouldn't get sold while I got approved for my loan. The process of getting the loan took about five days and the day before I was supposed to pick up the car the sales manager Troy called me and informed me it had accidentally been sold over the weekend even though I had put a deposit on the vehicle and had the purchasing agreement sent to my bank for loan. Troy promised to make it right but after half a day of him looking for another car he hasn't contacted me again or answered my repeated calls and texts.
It was a great experience at La Grande Country Dodge! The salespersons are awesome and so knowledgeable, really great guys with totally fun personalities. The help they gave me in finding my new car was so appreciated and I got a sweet deal on it. The whole team here are great and just really good people. I even got excellent financing on my car thanks to the finance department, they truly care about helping you with getting the best deal, not what the dealership will get out of it. Not every dealership is like this and it actually makes the relationship between buy and dealership that much stronger. They gave me a tour of the service department and the guys they have working there know exactly how to take care of your care and let you know what's happening before doing anything to your vehicle. I felt like the service provided to me by each area of La Grange Country Dodge was smooth, professional and made me feel very welcome and secure in that purchasing my vehicle through them is the complete right choice! Thank you La Grange, I'm still loving my new car!
I was happy with my experience here. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Thrilled with my new dodge. When I'm ready to upgrade I'll definitely be going back to LaGrange Country Dodge.
This place is nice local dealership. The seller who advised us on the different models knew what he was talking about. We talked about all the details of the car, all the specifications, we went through what has to be fixed or not fixed, how much that would cost, the finances. All the possibilities. They have a large selection of models available for sale. I believe if you are looking inti Chrysler or jeep you will find a model that fits your needs. Plus they are very friendly, so you can chat about all the cars, they will know where to direct you to. They were quite prompt with the paper work, so that was smooth, usually places mess it up, this time we were happy cause it actually went smooths. Thanks guys for the advice, and for your promptness.
Very trustable small local car dealership. We went there with my husband cause we were looking to a jeep, of course we checked out some other dealerships. We did not have an exact model in mind, we were more into whatever we see we like, we buy. We had others models in an other dealership that we liked a lot, than we came to country dodge and there was this jeep in a beautiful black color, nice model and so on, the price was not too bad either. We tried it and we were still hesitating rather to go back to the other dealership or buy this model. But than they offered us a good financing plan, that pleased us a lot! I mean it was really a good deal and that meant that we could actually have our car than and there, not in months. So we did the paperwork and got out beautiful black jeep. I loge this little boy, my new favorite! For now I am very satisfied with the car and we had also a good experience with the dealership, I do recommend them.
I wanted to share my experience at La Grange. My husband and I had a really excellent experience there. We bought a pre-owned Jeep Rogue from them. We had had our eyes on the Rogue ever since they came out, and we were waiting patiently for a preowned one to come up on the marketplace. Well we saw one pop up at La Grange Country Dodge and we almost immediately went to go check it out. We had never been to La Grange before, so our experience with them was totally new for us. There are a few things about them that I noticed were different from other dealers we’ve purchased from in the past:
They were very relaxed and laid back. Listen, I know when I’m being sold something. And was I being sold something at La Grange? Yes. Did it feel like I was being hard sold something, pressured, bullied, or forced into a sale? Not at all. We were definitely being sold on the Jeep Rogue that they had which we didn’t want to pay full price for, but it was the smoothest, most comfortable sales process I have ever experienced. The simple truth is that my husband and I weren’t planning on buying that day, but we did. We both knew we were being sold the car, but the salesman, the finance manager, and the paperwork clerk were so smooth and relaxed about it that neither my husband nor I ever felt uncomfortable.
The dealership was cleaner and more well kept than what I’m used to, but not in a way that was too clean or too flashy. I thought this was going to be a real down-home, small, local type of ma and pa place, and I was expecting it to be a little scruffy and scuffed as a result. Not so. The building and the lot was very clean and well kept, but it wasn’t toooo slick if that makes sense. I guess it just felt human, which made both my husband and I very comfortable being there.
I was especially impressed with how easy the staff there were to work with when it came time to work out the details of our new car purchase. They really took care of us. They helped us work very closely to within our budget. We got a lot of value for our money. We are on a long term maintenance plan with them and a good warranty considering the car we bought. We didn’t get the exact price we wanted, but we got them to come down pretty close.
If I could give this 0 stars, I would what an absolute joke this place is! We went in with the mindset that this was a small town local dealer, so they wouldn't screw us over.. boy were we wrong! to start off, they forgot paperwork we needed to sign, not once or twice, but THREE times, we had to meet with them after we already purchased vehicle !!! We finally got this all settled up. Drove our new vehicle for not even a week before the motor began to make a terrible knocking sound! we took it back in, they kept it for 2 WEEKS, without contacting us once to let us know so much as an update!! When speaking with the female mechanic, she informed us, they could not figure out the issue and would have to keep the vehicle even longer!! she admitted the vehicle had never gone through inspection and that they were having "trouble finding good mechanics" when the dealership admits they have had bad mechanics working on the vehicles they sell, that's a red flag for sure!!! We thought speaking with the manager, Mark would get our point across, ONCE AGAIN, we were wrong. I can honestly say, I have never delt with such an arrogant piece of work. no remorse, no explanation, he simply said for me to not speak to him in the tone I was well sir, if you were treated so terribly and thrown away thousands of dollars of piece of junk, another few thousand on a warranty that isn't being honored then you would have a ton as well!!! I 100% would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. we purchased our vehicle over a month ago and have physically had it for 1 week!! we now have to get a lawyer involved. I have never felt so taken advantage of.
Showed up after hours tonight and as a salesman drove by and another one guy stopped to take his time. Jason wert took extra time to answer my questions and being a salesman myself I really appreciated that. Tomorrow I will be buying from Jason because he represents the dealership, no one else.
Really impressed with these guys. This is easily the best car dealership I have been to in years, and I’ve been in and out of car dealerships all my adult life. I felt like Lagrange Country brought something new to the table for car dealerships everywhere. For example:
Lagrange Country did not pressure me, haggle me, or try to force me into anything or treat me with any kind of salesey type of attitude at all. They were just very clear and friendly and personable. My sales rep was kind and gracious, and he seemed to be more interested in me and my past than he was in selling me a car. I felt that with him, the whole sales process was more of an afterthought, and our discussions were more tabled towards the cars on the lot, which ones we liked, which ones we had owned before, etc.
Lagrange originated, without me saying it, the financing plan that I had already been thinking of. I knew I couldn't afford my dream car, but I wanted it and I just had to have it. I was prepared to do battle with the staff on how I was going to go about paying for the car, but that wasn’t what happened at all. Everything was actually really upfront, simple, and easy. They gave me the exact financing plan that I needed, which really helped me out a lot and made it so that I could actually buy the car.
Lagrange was probably the cleanest, nicest, most aesthetic car dealership I have ever been in. I just felt really comfortable there. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat for that reason alone.
Lagrange is definitely offering something different when it comes to selling cars. I really appreciated seeing this, as I’ve been in sales transactions before that I wasn’t necessarily pleased with. Lagrange is doing something different though, and I will gladly be recommending them to my friends and family.
