Probably the most affordable restaurant off of Michigan. We wound up here as nothing is open on Thanksgiving evening but it was a delight. We had the tator tots which were loaded with delicious cheese, peppers, carrots, and pickles. This combination was delicious! I'd recommend if you're shopping that this would be a good place to grab a beer and a bite!

Popped in for a drink. Great bartender. Good selection of drinks. Loved my Schlitz draft.

The food was pretty good but my order wasn't right and it took quite a while to correct it. All I needed were the sweet potato fries I ordered rather than regular fries. But I was given a to go order to try to make it right.

Nice selection of regional beers and the wings are awesome. The Poncho and Nashville wings seem nice at first, but the spice can sneak up on you and murder you in front of your friends. Still, would recommend strongly.

We ate late at night to supplement an earlier dinner, so didn't try much. The environment is cool and location good. Pricier than I expected. I was very disappointed with the tomato soup. More like parmesan soup that peaked in the surface like mashed potato. Wish I was hungrier at the time to try the wings and BBQ

Had a phenomenal meal there. The chicken wings are really great, I wish they would offer more seasonings/flavors. The service was just okay, but the atmosphere was good. Definitely plan on going back.

Sat outside last night and had a great meal. It was both of our first times eating at Jake Melnick's. Our waitress was new to the restaurant, but very good. Not overbearing and didn't hover, but very helpful and friendly and there when needed. Offered tastes of the drinks on tap if we needed them before deciding. Settled on the strawberry mint cider (yum) and the "something fruity" which was tangy and sweet.

Had the Mac n' cheese (so cheesy and good! Not too dry, not too liquidy), the cornbread was tasty as well. We took over 1/2 of both dishes home. Had the special wings - charred orange/bourbon flavored, very saucy but very good. By boyfriend had the brisket sandwich and really enjoyed it as well. We will be back for sure!

You're here because you love wings ( and bbq), good beer and a local feel to an otherwise bar scene area. Your coming here because it's guy's (or gals) night, and you don't want the hassle of the river north d-bag superficial scene.

You'll also enjoy your visit if you're looking for a good range of craft beers and no nonsense. Long tables for groups and smaller tables for smaller groups. Decent place for that sort of night.

Just a good place to eat hamburgers and drink! I tried the veggie hamburger and it was delicious! Plates are oversize, so be mindful about your appetizers. I tasted the regular nachos and i was almost full. The waitresses and the hostest are really quick and kind. Prices are around 20 dollars per person. Great place!

The wings are great and very generous portion sizes. I bought them with the fried pickles, which were also so big. I love cider and they even had 3 choices. Are they the best wings in Chicago as they claim? Not sure about it, but they are definitely up there.

We have eaten here twice in 2 weeks. The restaurant staff was inviting from the moment we entered to the moment we left.

The FOOD was EXCELLENT. The best beef brisket I've ever had it literally melted in my mouth, moist, flavorable & tender. I usually don't eat brisket do to its been hard for me to digest. The critique about the bbq is they could use less sauce it's not needed because the meat is prepared so well.

Please, do NOT leave without getting the Mac & cheese it is the creamiest, cheesiest mac you will find outside of a soul food restaurant. I ordered extra to take home because it's just that good.

I love this place. I come here every time I make my way back to the city. If you can put up with some noise and a little wait I recommend it. Food is amazing, staff are fun and talkative and a long list of alcohols.

The food was amazing! I dined there at 1pm today, it's now 9pm and I still can't get that taste off my mind! I recommend the nashville hot boneless wings and fries (pictured). The service was just as good as the food was. I'll definitely eat here again when I'm back in town.

The atmosphere was great. Food was amazing, pricey, but couldn't be upset considering how good it was. It is definitely more of a meat lovers joint, so vegetarians be wary. The drink selection was very good; a bunch of the good craft regulars along with some not so common ones. Service was great, even with our server (Adam) having a busy section with large tables.
