Cute place. More space than first appearances suggest. The portions are fair for the price. Good destination for groups of 2-5. Food was prompt as well as the seating and the atmosphere was busy but comfortable. Definitely a destination for sports fans as well. Lost a star for the attentiveness of the servers.

The customer service here was amazing! I came with 3 friends and all 4 of us ordered chicken Parmesan. None of us liked it, the pasta just tasted watered down and nothing like marinara sauce. We hardly touched our food but didn’t want to complain or tell the waiter because everyone was so nice since we walked in. The busboy came to clean our table and noticed none of us touched our food. He asked what happened and if we liked our food. We told him we didn’t like it and he asked us to give him a minute. He went to tell the manager and immediately he came to us and offered a substitute food. Then the waiter came and apologized and told us we should never feel bad for not liking our food. We left so happy and actually enjoyed our alternative plate.

Just came in on the train from Denver. Place was right around the corner from our hotel. Great atmosphere with sports figures in frames on the wall, red-&-white Christmas lights around the room and a bunch of TVs.
We had the Rudy’s Special which was delicious. Buttery crust cooked just right, flavorful toppings that were fresh and real mozzarella. Friendly service too.
$25 for a 2-serving pie seemed a little stiff but 1 block off Michigan Avenue should’ve expected that.response / report this review -

A group of friends and I went to Pizano’s after the Chicago Marathon. I ordered the cheese ravioli, which is pictured. The ravioli was very good and I would get it again. The atmosphere was somewhat loud and energetic, because the bar goes around the inside of the restaurant. The bathrooms were downstairs, which I didn’t see an elevator. The service wasn’t the best, but I’m assuming it was because of how busy it was from the Marathon. I would recommend this restaurant

Two of us shared a main course of deep-dish 1/2 'Mark's Special' which has basil, garlic, and tomato + 1/2 Canadian bacon and pineapple (she likes weird foods) My half of the pizza was absolutely fantastic and she claims hers was as well. But in a city where deep dish pizza is done a dozen, what sets Pizano's apart? The absolutely fantastic service we received from the moment we approached the hostess to the moment we left. Our server, Sam, was absolutely wonderful. Seriously, non-stop fantastic service. Even the other patrons were extremely friendly! (It started to sprinkle a few drops of rain and a father/son duo invited us over to sit under their umbrella covered table and share a few laughs.

The pizza was amazing but the service was even better!! Becca our server kept telling us amazing jokes. She was so nice and helpful. This is the best pizza in the city. But just you wait for the wonderful service!!

Locally owned pizza and pasta restaurant very close to Millenium Park. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Fast, friendly service. There were many types of pizza, pasta, and chicken options on the menu. I had an individual Chicago style pizza with a small house salad. Deep dish usually takes about 45 minutes, mine was served in about 30 minutes. The food was good and reasonably priced for downtown Chicago. I would eat there again.

Service was outstanding. Pizza was fantastic. We stopped into Chicago for 2 reasons, see the Cloud Gate sculpture and eat Chicago Style deep dish pizza. We saw the sculpture and chowed down and eviscerated a large deep dish from Pizano's. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes but that's to be expected at a place like this. But once we were in we got A+ service and awesome pizza. Hey who knows if it was the best deep dish pizza Chicago has to offer, all I know was that it tasted great and I was happy to eat there. Our server even offered us a treat after we mentioned it was our first time in town and we were blown away by his service. Thanks Pizano's.

The atmosphere and staff were wonderful. The staff was all very nice and helpful. Now for the food. We had to try the deep dish pizza. In my opinion, my hometown pizza is the best. Chicago Pizza was great until the crust. It's the water and the fact that they add butter.

They are friendly and not because they have to be for business. They have a very good selection of Italian food. The wings are big and crisp and their Lasagna is good. Try the Canoli for dessert it's crunchy and the creme is just right. The service is fast and always served hot. They have more seats inside to the left past the booths. On a Friday dinner they fill up quick.

The food was great. Would have gotten 5 stars. However, there were 2 issues that I had with my order.
1. When I placed the order, I had asked for a deep dish. But when I got there, I was charged for a thin crust. Mistakes happen, I get that, so I just made sure it was charged properly.
2. I had a side order, and was not in the bag when I arrived home. So I had to go back for the side. When I got back. They did apologize and tried to be nice about it.
I get it. It's a brand new location so there are still a few mistakes that can be corrected. While I was disappointed in this experience, I will give it another go at the next order.response / report this review -

Food is excellent! Marinara is magnificent. We had calamari for an appetizer. Wonderful. Crispy and cooked perfect. Italian Beef is GREAT. Deep dish Pepperoni and garlic was FANTASTIC. We had Lamar for our server and he was ALWAYS right there for another glass of wine or beer. Chocolate chip cookie dessert is great. Enough for 3+. Definitely a GREAT choice for pizza. Great jumping atmosphere.
