Never coming here again. They installed my flywheel incorrectly like I told them they did since my car started throwing 3 codes relating to the timing after having them replace the clutch on my car. Took it back to them they said they'll look at it. Go to pick it up and they said they couldn't figure it out and would probably be low oil pressure. So I immediately drove it to the dealership and sure enough like I said. They installed it incorrectly. So I have the dealership get me an invoice for there labor to fix j and ms mistake I bring it in and they said I'll have to bring it back when Clayton is here. 4 days later. Bet they didn't even pull it back apart to check it.

I just want to thank Jerry and the crew so very much for not only replacing my transmission faster than I ever expected but for the phenomenal customer service! Jerry kept me in the loop with absolutely every step of the procedure with my warranty company but also my car. Being a mom I have enough stress and he took every bit of headache and frustration away that he could. Thanks so much guys!

J & M's Transmission diagnosed and replaced the transmission in our GMC Acadia this past winter. The service and treatment we received surpassed any previous experience at a mechanic. They spent time walking through all the options available to us and advocated for us with the extended warranty company to get the maximum funds available for a transmision replacement. Regardless of how many questions I had, they took the time to answer them without the feeling that they needed to rush off to help someone else. It really felt like you were speaking with a good friend or family member. I will never go anywhere else when I need work on my transmission and I highly recommend them to everyone that needs work done.

J&M Transmission in Lehi rebuilt our transmission 4 years ago. Well past the warranty, we brought the car in for what we thought was transmission problems. Turned out it was electrical. J&M diagnosed and fixed the problem, even though it wasn't even the tranny, and they did it at no charge. Exceptional customer service!

Negative reviews keep disappearing. Owner of J&Ms franchised a location in Orem and is now refusing to honor any of the "nation-wide" warranties sold by his company.

I have a 3 year warranty on transmission. Still with in period, broken vehicle won't be repaired by transmission company that issues warranty.
I had my transmission replaced by J&M Transmission in Orem Utah. While considering shops to fix vehicle, shop manager said that for $200 extra dollars we could get a 3 year warranty on our vehicle. We purchased the extended warranty. The shop manager said that at any time I could bring in the vehicle to any of the J&M Transmissions if in the unlikely event of transmission failure. After 2 years and 9 months, our transmission failed. I brought the broken vehicle to J&M Transmission in Lehi, and they are refusing to honor the warranty cowardly saying that they were not the shop that worked on it and thus are not responsible to fix it. I would take it to the other shop, but it is now closed.
BEWARE - "Nationwide warranty" means whichever shop you get your car serviced at. Dishonest, misleading, lacking in integrity.response / report this review -

I have been very impressed with this shop. It seems rare to find a shop that truely cares about whats best for their customers like J&Ms does. They provided excellent and honest customer service and were fairly priced. I highly recommend this shop. Thanks guys!

10 out of 5 stars! Jerry has the best customer service skills I've ever experienced. Repairing a transmission can be a huge financial blow and a big stress to almost everyone. The guy really tries to sympathize, figure out the best possible solution and provide the most help that he can. He helped me see all options which helped relieve a lot of stress. I'll always come back here.
