So I needed one tire. On a comparable tire to what is on my car, they wanted a fair amount. I asked if they would do any type of discount like what they did when I bought all 4. The guy at the desk rudely stated “well that was because you bought 4”. So obviously they don’t care too much for loyal customers. Will a day come again when I need 4 tires? Absolutely! And do you think discount tire will be the first stop on my list? Take care of you customer from beginning to end. Not whenever they happen to be spending a higher amount.

How much discount was I expecting? A few bucks for being a previous customer. Like at most $6. I guess I know that their goal is their bottom line not the customer. Cost of the tire itself was like $40 less. Just doesn’t seem like a big deal to me. Maybe it’s just this location. Others I have been to have been very friendly.

Just watched another gentleman leave because they couldn’t get him a deal. I guess they aren’t too discounted after all.

I love this store. Any of there locations, they have been great to work with on getting a new tire. They give you all the options on tires and you don't feel stupid for asking any kind of question.

This has been my go to store for years Lance is the GM and has taken care of me and his staff Davis, Billy and Jinni (I think I spelled her name wrong, sorry) always taken care of me and are awesome. Davis and Billy need their own stores. They are great at taking care of the wheels and tires in my wife’s new truck. The store is super busy and if you have a flat that’s a low priority on their list which makes sense because it’s a free service and they need to take care of paying customers.

Yes I would definitely recommend this store. I messed up and ordered tires through the Lindon UT store and had dropped off my vehicle at the American Fork store, in a huge time crunch. Without hesitation the two stores figured out the mistake and had the tires sent to the AF store and installed. They stayed pasted closing time to make sure it was done that day. It was my dumb mistake but these guys picked up the ball after I had dropped it. They get an A+ for customer service from me. Thanks guys!!

I don't ever do reviews on businesses but today I feel compelled to leave a review for the awesome service and kindness I received by Lance Hicks, the manager.

I have been getting my tires at this Discount Tire location since literally the day they opened. I have always been treated with 5 star treatment. My wife and I have alway been treated with great respect and professionalism.

This has been a particularly tough week on our family financially. Late today the sidewall on one of my tire developed a rather large bulge that required it to be replaced. The tires were due to be changed in the next few months. These are the original tires that where on the car that I purchased several years ago. I have a full time four wheel drive vehicle that requires that all four tires be replaced at the same time.

Due to the other unforseen financial emergencies we have occurred this week our savings have been depleted. Lance graciously OFFERED arrangements (that did not include using a credit card) to help me out financially.

I don't often cry, let alone in public, but Lance's generosity and compassion literally moved me to tears.

I will continue to bring my business to this location. I will never hesitate to recommend Discount Tire, and Lance specifically, to anyone. Go with confidence that you will be treated fairly, honestly and with genuine concern. Thank you Lance, and thank you Discount Tire.

I am pretty upset about my recent visit to this store.

I purchased four new tires and four wheels. After I paid for the installation, I came outside and there were no hub caps with the new wheels I just purchased (see attached picture, looks terrible).

I went back in and brought out an employee. He mumbled something about how people usually plastic dip the exposed part and then went into the garage to look into it. Apparently the manufacturer left out the hub caps from this package for whatever reason. He went inside and ordered them and said I could come back Tuesday to have them installed at no charge.

I'm upset because I shouldn't have had to notice that myself. Someone should have let me know hub caps were missing before I paid. If I hadn't said anything and trusted these employees, I would be driving around looking like an idiot.

I made an appointment online before my visit and purposely selected tires and wheels that were in stock so I wouldn't have to come back. I work full time and take night classes until 10 PM every night. It is a massive inconvenience for me to come in to have these hub caps installed because now I need to make arrangements at work.

Davis helped me when I pulled in with a spare tire on b/c of a screw in one of my tires. I thought I was going to have to buy two new tires but he searched for a comparable replacement of my flat tire, saving me money. While waiting he approached me and said he checked the internal sidewall of the damaged tire and it was still intact ( it appeared damaged from the exterior b/c I drove on it while flat), saving me more money b/c I didn't need to a new tire after all. Discount Tire fixed the flat, rotated my tires and had me back on the road within 45 min. They have earned a customer for life

The store manager, Lance, was a huge jerk to my wife when she inquired about a discount that her family had got the day before. When I got the tires he told me he gave me the discount and then on the invoice there was nothing discounted. Then he backtracked and said the tires were on sale so I got a good deal She even brought the invoice in and showed him but he would not honor it. He then proceeded to tell my wife how she was taking his money out of his pocket and food away from his kids. The discount was not huge. Like $50.To me its not about the discount its about how he treated my wife. Definitely not bringing mu buisness here anymore. Very poor customer service by Lance.

After not having a flat tire in years, I got two in a 12 hour period, one on each of two vehicles. I went in expecting to need to pay several hundred dollars today. Pleasantly I learned that both tires were covered under roadside hazard repair or replace, and they were both replaced for no cost. I bought a third so the trend would match on one of the vehicles.
The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and very personable. They were very quick as well. What really impressed me and prompted me to write this review is that they placed the new tire for my other vehicle in a plastic bag before putting it back in the trunk, and they replaced my spare under the vehicle rather than just putting it in the trunk.
Discount tire has always treated me well, and this location was no exception.

I have always liked Discount Tire and I especially enjoyed working with Joe for the time he was managing this store. I have not had a chance to get to know Lance yet but hear he is great. With price and value in mind, I don't think I have ever had a complaint with them. I am a bit partial to this store since it's the main store I have frequented over the last 10 years. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the time management problem that seems to exist. I had two vehicles in this location in the last week and a half for tires and each time I scheduled an appointment to make sure I got back to work in the allotted lunch hour. The first vehicle I took in for an appointment at 1:00 and walked to Costco while I waited. They told me it would be 45 minutes max. I was at Costco for about 30 minutes but with the walking time, it was at least 45 minutes. When I arrived back at the store I saw my car outside the garage waiting for methe problem was, they hadn't even had it in yet! I was a full hour late getting back to work and missed a team meeting because of it. The second vehicle I took in was just two days ago on March 14th. I was having all 4 tires replaced and I called them to make an appointment and told them that I needed to make sure I would be done in 45 minutes or less because of what happened last time. They all but assured me it would not happen again. You can guess the ending. Same thing happened, they went an entire hour over. There is no reason to offer appointment scheduling if it doesn't serve it's purpose, to keep a schedule! Lance, please fix this problem, it's enough to make me look elsewhere if it were to happen a third time. I am much more patient than I used to be, but if I can't trust the process to work so I can get back to the office in time for meetings then I need another option.

I don't post a lot of online reviews. My ongoing experiences at Discount Tire in American Fork have motivated me to write this. Every interaction I've had there has been positive. They're patient with my questions and requests, they're positive, they look me in the eye and smile, they have great prices, and they always do excellent work. I showed up today and asked them to swap a wheel from my old spare to another tire I brought in. No problem, no charge, and they mounted the new spare to my vehicle without blinking. Probably not a big deal to them, but their little pieces of outstanding service add up. While I waited, I watched their employees treat other customers the same way: respectful, patient, and helpful. Keep up the good work. I'm done going anywhere else for tires.

These guys are fantastic. Great service, unbeatable prices and free services for the life of the tires. I originally went in with a quote from the dealership thinking they would obviously beat it. They were actually more expensive (due to a promotion from the dealership) and they gladly matched the price and got me great tires in under an hour. Very pleased with my experience (as I always am). I have been going here for years and will continue to do so.
