When I took my car in, my parking brake worked just fine. During the work they did for me, they were quick to point out 5-6 other things that needed work, one of which was the cable for the hood release needed to be replaced.
When I picked up the car, my parking brake didn't work. (We literally used it right before taking it in, and it didn't work when we pulled it out of there). They didn't own up to it, but did offer to fix it for more than $200. They said that they didn't mean to say the cable for the hood release needed replacing but instead the cable for the parking brake. Very convenient mistake.
At a minimum, they're incompetent. I'm concerned that they may just not be trustworthy. I'm not going back.response / report this review -

I had a wonderful experience when I came in today, and was so glad that we had Alan as my sales rep. I felt he heard our needs and helped us to decide what we wanted and needed for our family. He was professional and friendly. I would recommend anyone to come to this particular Chevy dealership! I was so pleased with how they were able to help us without any pressure or unnecessary sales tactics. We thank you and look forward to coming back.!

Ryan at Riverton Chevrolet is the man you need to go see. He helped get me out of a car I was stuck in. He did amazing he listened to what I needed and also what I wanted. If it was possible for a 10 Star this guy gets it. If you want a salesman who will be point blank honest with you, who will do everything he possibly can to find your vehicle and get you in it at a reasonable payment GO SEE RYAN. Also the dealership doesn’t have that super high dreaded dealer fees like everyone els dose. Which was nice considering some dealers I talked to there fees were pushing 2k Riverton Chevrolet was 299. Thank you again Ryan I love my new truck!!

UPDATE: Noise is more frequent now and sounds horrible. If you say something will be fixed it should ACTUALLY get fixed not just "fixed" for a few weeks. The whole selling point was that the problem would be taken care of. If its not going to be just say so and I'd have gone some place else. Sales people are nice is the only good thing I've experienced.
Great place to buy a car! We had gone to 3 other places that day and non of them were even willing to discuss repairing some damage to their cars. Riverton Chevrolet and especially Aaron our sales person went out of their way to make us happy. The only reason I'd give 3 stars instead of 5 is because one problem that they had said they'd fix wasn't actually fixed in a way that lasted. The scraping noise was back a few days after I picked up the car. Thank you for being so kind and for making us feel like family!

I've never had to work so hard to spend $60,000 in my life. Couldn't find a truck we liked at any Chevy dealerships within driving distance, so found one we liked on-line at Riverton. Only problem was that it turns out (which we didn't find out until after agreeing on the purchase price and feeling we had a deal locked down) that the truck we'd agreed to purchase wasn't actually at Riverton, but, rather, was supposedly somewhere in Michigan. Our sales agent, Scott Dowda (who was fantastic and the only positive thing about this experience), spent a couple of weeks trying to get the vehicle shipped out to Utah and, when that wasn't happening, why it wasn't happening. Well it turns out the vehicle was damaged. Scott then scrambled around and found another suitable truck option, which, again, was not at the dealership but in Toledo. Somehow it took 7 weeks to get the truck shipped from Toledo to the dealership, add the step up assist accessory and then ship the truck out to us in Nevada, with us constantly asking Scott for updates every 3-4 days (which he promptly and cheerfully responded to). There also was a brief interlude where Scott found another suitable truck option at another dealership but then that dealership shipped Scott the wrong truck and sold off the one we were interested in. I, quite frankly, am, not sure I have the energy and/or patience to go through this exercise again and, as such, am not sure I'll ever purchase a vehicle from Chevy again. The only thing that made this exercise remotely tolerable was Scott. He kept at it and was very good at communicating what was going on (to the extent he could tell what was going on) and was always trying to figure out the fastest way to get us a truck that met our needs. Thank God he finally succeeded, but, as I said, I've never had to work this hard to spend $60,000 nor do I ever want to have to do so again.

Our sales rep Cesar was So Great!! Only wanted to get the exact vehicle for us. All smiles and zero pressure.. even a sales manager came out to us just to say hi and thank you for checking out their vehicles. Cesar found The Ride! And the finance guy, Stephen, worked his magic to get a first time car buyer the best deal possible! Stephen worked extra late to inform us of the best choice! Great people at Riverton Chevrolet that really Go That Extra Mile!! Sappy, but True!

Go with confidence, these guys have done nothing but work hard to make sure they do the right thing. I have owned my Silverado for less than 4 months and honestly I am sure they are sick of me, but they treat me like I am buying a new car from them every time I go in, very classy. Steve C and Tyson are outstanding people who will make sure you're happy.

I worked with Tyson to find the perfect car, he was very patient and showed us everything we wanted to look at.
After finding what we were looking for, everything went smoothly and we were out the door pretty quick.
Initially I was presented with a bit of a high interest rate because my credit wasn't the greatest, but Steve was able to work with the credit unions and literally cut the interest rate in half.
So, we're very happy with Riverton Chevy, and it's the first place I'll go when we're ready to get another vehicle.

Everyone is very friendly and easy to work with. I didn't feel any pressure. They were able to answer all my questions and were willing to help me any way they could. Very pleased with my experience at Riverton Chevy and the salesman John Badger.

Ryan B. came up to me while I was still in my car and asked how he could help. He found the perfect truck at a great rate to get me out of a high interest loan. Loved the large clean building and friendly sales and finance teams. Great place to buy your next car with little pressure and lots of friendly support in buying your next car.

We had an amazing experience at Riverton Chevrolet and Allen Sauer! He was laid back and fun to talk with. He was very upfront about what he could do for us and the budget we had to work with. He found us the best vehicle for our needs that fit our budget and we couldn't be happier! Everyone we met at the dealership was super nice and friendly but if you don't already have a salesman you are working with, we recommend you talk with Allen!

I usually hate car dealerships, but Riverton Chevrolet isn't like those other guys. We got our price online, came in and Ryan took really good care of us and got us a great deal. We got the monthly payment we wanted without having to jump through a bunch of hoops. He did right by us! The finance guy, Steve, was also really incredible. Two times after we thought we were done he would come back and tell us that he found us an even better deal. There's no better feeling in the world than knowing you're in the hands of experts and they're actually ON YOUR SIDE! Everything went better than expected at Riverton Chevrolet. Steve and Ryan were awesome and we love our new car! Thanks

Nate and the sales team were great to work with, very easy and no pressure. Don in finance was wonderful especially since we were there after they were closing and was very efficient with the paperwork. Lesa in service is great to work with, we added a leveling kit on our truck the day after and she got us in as soon as possible and kept us informed the whole time. We love our truck and I would definitely recommend Riverton Chevy to all my friends and family.

Ryan B. at Riverton Chevrolet made it the easiest and best car buying experience we have ever had, even with our two small children with us for the process. We went in just to narrow down our search options and test drive a specific model and ended up leaving just a few hours later with a new car! We have also been very impressed with their service department as well. Highly recommend this dealership and Ryan
