Six of us are after a matinee in La Cantina. Efficient waitress. They were able to accommodate special requests. Everyone really enjoyed their dishes. The two seafood dishes had more seafood than than any other place we ordered them. Sauces were flavorful and the crusty bread to die for.

Visited The Village recently while visiting family on the Thanksgiving weekend. Amazing ambience, service, food and drinks. It was my first time visiting with my daughter, though my family has been there before. I loved that they still paid extra attention to make us familiar with the menu. Our waiting staff was super patient! We had two teenagers and one 21 year old girls with us.:-)) Plan is to visit again whenever back in town.

My wife and I, along with some close friends, ate here as part of spending a fun day in Chicago. It was our first time and had little idea as to what to expect. But our experience was wonderful! Everyone on the staff that we interacted with was friendly, and the food, as well as the setting, was fantastic. We look forward to a return trip!

What a wonderful Chicago restaurant! I'm so glad to have experienced this to its fullest! From the time you walk in, get seated, order, refills, receive your foods, through to the end of getting out the front the door, the customer service is the best along with the food. The food is prepared with intention for your taste buds to have an experience on their own. Go there. You won't be disappointed.

Great date Spot. Best Shirley temple you’ll ever have. Amazing service. Delicious food. Atmosphere is stunning. I’ve been coming here with my family for New Years dinner for years and it’s become one of my favorite family traditions!

    Food🌟🌟🌟, Atmosphere 🌟🌟🌟, Service🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 , price 💰💰.
Very touristy. And of course, we are tourists. 4 of us for dinner.
Our server was originally from Istanbul and has a new baby on the way. He was a breath of fresh air. Extremely helpful and friendly. Always on top of things. He made our evening special.

Visited in 2014. My wife and I ate here on our vacation to Chicago. The Italian Village is one of three restaurants in one building and this is the one is in the TOP floor. The service is great and Italian! The ambiance and decor is great and Italian! The food is great and Italian! Point is that this is a genuine Italian fine dining experience for a reasonable price.

Peter is the best server! Very kind and made sure our food came out perfectly. Super good food and great atmosphere however the rest of the servers/staff were running around a lot, looked to be very stressed and in a hurry. everyone should be a little bit calmer to give the restaurant a relaxed, more "take your time" vibe.

The vibe here is very laid back. It's dimly lit, which makes for a romantic atmosphere. The food was delicious! I'll definitely be visiting on my future trips to Chicago.

Nice little dreamy restaurant. Kinda reminiscent of the Billy Joel song about the same. Nice portions for a good price. Would go again, when we are in town. Seemed classy, not over elegant. Everyone working there was super at what they did. Just a nice experience, all around.

This restaurant never disappoints! There are many cozy nooks in the main dining room that are perfect for smaller parties. There is something special about being seated in secluded area with the twinkle lights above while you're enjoying delicious food! The menu has your traditional Italian restaurant staples but everything is magnificent. The Chicken Vessuvio can't be beat.

The oldest Italian (and independent) restaurant in Chicago! Service is excellent from the moment you walk through the door. A perfect place to eat before a show downtown as they're very accommodating to show schedules and you're food comes with plenty of time to enjoy it, have an espresso and make it to the theatre. Food was very good and I especially loved to classic cocktails at the bar that feature the alcohol and not a sugary mixer. Definitely a local favorite.
