Comfortable hotel in the desert with a great view of the mountains and golf course. Good continental breakfast. Nice pool area. The bar/lounge area is really classy at night. Great mid-century entertainment! The only drawback, for some, could be too many small children running around the halls and slamming doors. This could spoil the experience for those looking for a quiet, couple's getaway.

This resort looked awesome. From the outside. Once you get in the room its a different story. The bathroom was the best part about this room, that should say something by itself, but there was no microwave or any other amenities you expect a resort that charges a 30$ a night resort fee! Yea that's right 30$ a night extra tacked on to your total every single night, which they do not explain at all as they just charge it, I ended up doing the math after the fact. The staff with a few exceptions, are all snobs and they give the worst service on a regular basis. I am having to check out 2 days early and find something else, because I refuse to pay extra for horrible service.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Indian Wells Resort! We got upgraded to a lovely suite with a great view of the pool and golf course! There was nothing outdated that we countered. The room had plenty of decent towels, a small coffee maker, a huge bathtub, and a mini frig. The only thing that could've made it better was if there had been a mini microwave in the room. Other than that, the room was awesome! The staff was very friendly and the complimentary COOKED Breakfast was good and a very welcome surprise! We hope to return when the weather cools off because we went off-season and the temperature got over 100 degrees! Thankfully, the pool was great- big, cool, clean and we enjoyed it immensely! Seeing all the old 1950-60s Rat Pack & other celebrities pictures on the walls through out the hotel was fun too! We highly recommend this hotel resort!

2nd time we've stayed here. 1st time was great that's why we came back. However this time was not the same. The bathroom although it was clean, smelled musty, the pillows were uncomfortable, woke up with neck out of place. The complementary breakfast was one of the worst, unappetizing I've ever seen. A community yogurt bowl(big bowl filled with yogurt & a big spoon for guest to serve themselves) another big bowl filled with preserves for toast. The bread bags & waffles falling of bags on the counter,people using their hands to grab them. Then I see a worker grab the waffles that had fallen out with HIS BARE HANDS to put them bag in the bags. It was disgusting, the whole experience makes me not want to return.

I just returned from a 3 day stay at Indian Wells resort in Indian Wells, CA. Friends made the reservations for me through a Groupon offer. Unfortunately, the "special" didn't advertise the resort fee. This hotel is barely a 3 star property and I was surprised by the addition of the resort fee of $29.99 plus tax on that added to my account upon check out. The Resort Fee made my stay $96 more than originally advertised. Had this been a real resort and the amenities were excellent I might not have been upset. But this hotel is barely a mid range hotel and with the state of the property I couldn't believe the fee was so exorbitant. Dirty carpet, little bugs in the bathroom, stained towels, dirty carpet in the room and no ice machine on the floor I was staying on. And then there was the compressor of some kind on the roof that ran off and on all night long! The restaurant charges were also extremely high with a 7 inch tortilla shell, tomato sauce, cheese, mushrooms and olives getting $16.98! I decided that when I got home I was not only going to write poor reviews for the property but I am going to look into this "Resort Fee" charge that has become the norm and look into why it is not regulated. I also will be sure to make my own reservations in the future and look for this additional fee as a part of the actual cost of the room.

It is a dated and aging hotel. Feels like you traveled back in time when you step foot in the hotel. But it's cheap and decent value. Especially when you get the golf package. And the two courses out back aren't half bad.
Don't mistaken this hotel as the Hyatt Indian Wells with the two beautiful golf courses. That's across the street.response / report this review -

Well, for starters there's nothing "resort style"" about the place. Other than the palm trees and crown molding, the place is very basic. I paid for the exclusive room with a good view. The view is. okay but nothing great. I'm staying alone and I stated that upon check in. I was still given a room with double twin-like beds. The patio is small and has no outdoor furniture. There's no microwave and most importantly, the air is on and still not cooling the entire room. I previously stayed in a holiday inn express up the road at a cheaper rate and it was much, much nicer. But, now I know. I will never waste my money here again.

Very nice. Room is nice. Pool is nice. The hotel lobby is a bit outdated but not bad. This place has a lot of history and this hotel celebrates it.

It was a lovely experience. I will most certainly recommend this location to friends and family in the future. The music is exceptional. Please ask Razor J to play another gig.

The hotel is nice and has an executive feel to it. Pool is good as well as the hot tub. The food is a little pricey and the wifi could be better but overall a good stay.

The rooms are small and moldy smelling. The price you paying is for being in the Indian Wells area, not for you to have a great experience and want to come back. The hotel is worst than the motel 6. The Marriott, holiday inn is better than this place. The AC did not work and the front was falling off. The Continental breakfast was very sad. There was nothing good about this place. You'll have a better experience at the motel 6.

Nice Resort..BEAUTIFUL grounds. The Resort is 50's themed with live music nightly but could use some "millennial" upgrades (USB ports, sundries, Size of television) The rooms look dated rather than "themed" but all and all its a nice place to stay. The pool is heated with a beautiful backdrop against a golf course. Staff is professional and courteous. 4 stars for service and experience, 3 stars for outdated rooms.
