Outdated rooms and hotel showing its age. Walls are super thin and one can hear everything from other rooms and it’s super uncomfortable to be in the bathroom because everyone can you. Front desk seems to be I edge and short in their response. We chose this place over its competition because of the water slides but the kids thought the slides were a bit boring because towards the end of the slides they’re very flat. They did however like the lazy river. King beds seemed more like queens and weren’t very comfortable. Coffee machines are very old. Rooms lacked panache and are poorly decorated. Nice big TVs with option to control from your phone. Bellmen were professional and eager to assist. Pools are ok. Jacuzzi is very small, it’s as big as most house ones. Food at the pool was very good but expensive.
If anyone out there is searching for bargain deals for hotel rooms browse through ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ reserved a resort on there and they had the best rates just about anywhere!
Clean and beautiful setting. A little dated but very much a vintage vibe with pictures of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez all over in addition to other stars of that area. The breakfast was really good. Would recommend to a friend.
I really enjoyed my stay. Everyone was friendly and nice. The rooms were clean and I felt very safe. The customer service was great and the pools are amazing to swim. The Lazy River was fun to be in. You get to be in a floaty and you let the "stream" take you.
Nice hotel with great accommodations. Rooms are well appointed and has everything you'd expect for a hotel at this tier. Nothing more or less. The rooms are bigger than average but it's not significantly bigger than other similarly hotels in the area.
The staff and service was good and attentive. I would recommend this hotel even during while covid-19 restrictions are in place, especially if you can find a deal.
We stayed at this hotel this past weekend & loved it! We spent all day going down the slides and floating down the lazy river. We got 2 queen beds over looking the pool area. We wished we stayed on the 4th floor (top floor) & requested a golf course view! The pool view overlooked the backside of maintenance sheds. Great room though! Very spacious and clean! A very nice hotel with equally nice staff. A great, great spot to take your family! We will definitely be going back soon..
Beautiful property just East of Palm Springs, the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells presents a welcoming setting boasting an emerald golf course, spa, and So cal cuisine. Penthouse suites offer views of the course and a gorgeous mountain backdrop. [Joshua Tree nearby] Cordial pool service and bike rentals for use on and off property are managed from the main pool entry outside near elevators. There are multiple pools and activities posted daily. Newspapers complementary for pickup near concierge and golf reservation center alcoves. A lovely respite.
First stay at this property and really enjoyed it. Beautiful hotel with several pools, hot tubs, a real gym (as compared to the standard hotel), restaurants, bicycles (free), and a golf course. Very nice for kids as well and there were plenty of kids. Staff was friendly and professional. Only critique: didn't uphold the keep it quiet policy after 10 pmkids running wild and loud on the terrace causing several guests to complain. Hotel did try to make it right though by giving comp drinks, etc.
I am very happy with my stay at this hotel. The sites where amazing from the room to the Restaurants. We where here in the summer and last weekend, I think this weather is a little better, its not as hot.The service is top of the line and as easy and peaceful as it gets. From the moment you arrive with their polite valet parking staff. Everything was very enjoyable and spotless clean. I am sorry but I cant think of anything wrong about this piece of paradise, NOT even the price. their prices are pretty good and they offer corporate discounts. you should definitely stay here for a nice get away.
3 night stay very comfortable and spacious rooms. Nice view of the golf course. Very handy location for great restaurants and nearby shopping. Couple of items not making it a 5 star stay. Air conditioner for the room is quite noisy when running. Also not a fan of not only "resort fees" but also 12 bucks a day to self park and 27 for valet.
Great experience. Friendly staff. Everywhere smells incredible. I wish I could make my home smell that great! Really nice pools with very attentive staff. If you visit the pool, I highly recommend renting a cabana as they have fridges, outlets, and all sorts of great amenities inside. The rooms are also immaculate. If you visit here, I recommend going on a weekend as they have the BEST breakfast buffet in the world. If you go during the week, order the chiliquilles oh. my. gosh. To die for. BEST I have ever had 😍
Stayed here for my honeymoon and couldn't be happier. The architecture and grounds are beautiful, and all the amenities from the in-room toiletries to the network of pools are first-rate. But what really made the place special was the loveliness and hospitality of the staff, who went above and beyond to take care of us on our honeymoon. Every one took the time to introduce themselves and chat - even Fawks the Hawk, who took a break from his duties working with the grounds crew for a selfie!
If I could make one suggestion, it would be to add some resources about hiking, biking, climbing and other desert activities to the concierge desk. There are some great opportunities for adventurous travelers nearby who want a more vigorous excursion.
Husband and I booked a room for a quick getaway from LA. It was perfect! The newly renovated room was cozy and well lit Super bonus: it comes with a large TV, a small fridge and a coffee maker. The property is on a golf course so it was very well maintained and super clean. Also- the staff was insanely friendly and attentive. The only thing I didn't like were the parking fees (valet was $27 and self parking was $12 overnight). I know many places charge for parking.. But i still don't like it.
Nice atmosphere. Huge resort on a golf course..nice bar and happy hour.. good for all ages. Nice pool for family. Not sure if second pool for adults only. Very helpful staff. Came for girls weekend. Would come back with the hubby.
For an expensive hotel, it lacked basic luxuries. The bed and pillows are hard. The room was basic and minimalist. The resort was clean. The spa was nice. The food was good. I had to pay $12 a day for parking.
Prefacing this review by mentioning I reserved room with credit card reward points. Room design had a modern touch. Many outlets and variety of charging options (direct-USB and standard) scattered throughout the room which was very convenient. Services were good, but I did have housekeeping knock on my door around 8:30am on Saturday. I thought it was a bit too early for that, but maybe not considering most people play golf early here. Restaurant service and drinks were adequate and priced as expected (a bit pricey Only had Sunday brunch). Overall, a pleasant experience.
Great Service and Attention from ALL the staff; valet, bell men, concierge, desk persons, bartender, waitresses, omelette chef, room service, maids. Everyone has a good attitude. Three swimming pools (one caters to adults more than familys), two Jacuzzis. Moderately good breakfast buffet on the weekends. I prefer the bottom room floors that face the golf course to the North.
This is just a wonderful place for a little R&R♡ We try to visit this beautiful property at least once a year or more. We're here for four days celebrating our 31st Wedding Anniversary. Can't think of anywhere else in Southern California (except home in San Diego) we would rather celebrate our happiness. Everyone here is spectacular at their positions on property, and always makes us feel welcomed. Thank You Hyatt Regency, Indian Wells for all you do♡
I stayed here for coachella. Honestly I was here more than the music festival. I walked the golf course, its so pretty. Its a relaxing, gorgeous escape. The staff was nice. The prices are pricey, but your on vacation so why not splurge a little. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
Nice hotel. Beautiful grounds, spacious rooms well appointed.
Good kids venue. 7 pools and enough things going on To keep everybody happy.
Only negative, parking was additional cost and unavailable. Returning to the hotel late 11: pm, at night there were no spaces available a d 5 or 6 cars driving around looking for a space.
