Great hotel. Has everything you need, good rooms, comfortable beds, free breakfast, friendly staff. I would completely recommend it!
MOLD ISSUE and mildew in obsolete air-conditioning unit and mold smell permeated entire room. Beware the numerous and overly-generous ratings for this hotel, very suspicious! Allergy attack and illness precipitated by my stay at Hyatt Place Cobb Galleria. The tepid, mildewy air coming from the air-condition unit made stay very unpleasant. Dirty, dated carpet. Smell of mold everywhere. Bathroom so small you could not open door once inside--had to step in walk-in shower just to be able to get out of the bathroom! Bed hard and lumpy right next to moldy air-conditioning unit. Disgusting breakfast with powdered eggs. As of 11/26/17 Priceline actually rates this property as 8.8 which simply defies credibility! Worst hotel I have stayed at in the Cobb Galleria area. As a public health concern Hyatt Place management SERIOUSLY needs to examine the mold issue at this property, especially the moldy air coming from the totally obsolete air-conditioning units which clearly need replacing!
The staff here are truly world class, every one of them. Any question I had was answered with a smile, and all staff were friendly with greeting everyone going in and out. The breakfast, while I didn't eat anything but the bacon and fruit was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've seen (for an included breakfast). The shower head was floppy so you had to stand close and something kept buzzing under my bed every 30 mins or so, which kept me up most of each night, but other than that, the bed was comfy, room was clean, and staff was pretty awesome.
Rooms are very clean and roomy. Nice setting with a really decent breakfast. Staff was friendly and courteous. Location is ideal; restaurants, shopping and bars are within very close proximity. Love it and will definitely be staying again when I have to stay over in Atlanta.
The Hyatt place Atlanta was a great stay. The location was really great for the event I was attending. The rooms where really nice and clean. And they provided a shuttle that would go anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the hotel.
We had evacuated from fl. For irma. The front desk lady helped us figure things out. She was great. She took the time effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Clean and nice. Good staff. Cant beat that.
This is a gem better than most places. Cozy nice accommodation. Very friendly staff. No nonsense good regular breakfast included. I would even rate the rooms and hallway better than Hyatt regency. Front reception is not grand/huge but cozy warm and inviting and with a friendly staff, it is a place to stay around the atlanta- Marietta GA area
Awesome customer service!! Jessica at the front desk was the bomb!! Courteous and helpful! Easy walk to Ballpark. Complimentary shuttle took us to a near by Pubix for snacks and drinks. Comfortable beds and nice breakfast. Will definitely stay here again when coming to another Braves Game.
Hyatt place makes you feel as if you were at home. The bed is very comfortable and the rooms are modern and up mostly to date. The room is a great size and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast in the morning is also very delicious. It is a walkable distance to the Braves stadium. It's better to walk instead of taking a bus. We stayed on one of the upper floors and they were very quiet and peaceful. Overall a really great experience. Would highly recommend it!!
Tracy up front was amazing! She went above and beyond Great CS is never expected but always appreciatedespecially on a holiday. always have had a good experience here. 🤗
Jasmine & Ashley were absolutely amazing! As well as Justin! I've never experienced so much hospitality and I've never felt so welcome & at home! They literally catered to our family, even though the hotel was completely booked! Shuttled us to the Cumberland mall and picked us up so we wouldn't have to drive! Great experience! HIGHLY recommended! Hopefully the Hyatt won't lose their front desk staff because THEY are what made our stay so perfect! rooms are very nice as well.
The meeting rooms were set up well and comfortable chairs and nice desks! Also the refreshments were a nice change from usual conference snacks.
Super friendly staff. When I arrived the women working check in, asked me what kind of stay I was having. She asked me if I wanted the quietest room available. She gave me a corner room away from foot traffic. It was very quiet in there. I slept like a baby. The free WiFi is throughout the hotel. A lot of places only have free WiFi in the lobby. And their breakfast bar was excellent.
The room itself was modern and clean. The blackout curtains really block the street lights and sun out enough to sleep late. Slept to 11am one day. Oops!
The shower is big and the water pressure is good.
The couch in the living area is good. Also like the little multi-port interface next to the TV. I had a 3.5mm double male jack and hooked my smart phone up to the TV speakers. This allowed me to continue listening to a pod cast while I was unpacking. If I have had an HDMI cable, I could have hooked my laptop up to the TV. Very thoughtful and modern set up.
The only problems I've ran into so far is that there's no microwave in the rooms and the shower head flow is a little too intense for me. Other than that, the free breakfast and shuttle are fantastic. There are places to grab quick bites within walking distance. The pillows are fantastic, and the lighting and room design are amazing. Would recommend for price.
