Outstanding service ALWAYS. My family and I have stayed here a total of almost 150 days in 2017 alone. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to make us happy. They discount our room rate all the time; if not that then they'll upgrade us to a suite for no charge. We're notoriously late checking out but of course it's never a problem for them! During our last stay, Chris gave us til 3pm to finish packing our stuff! My atf hotel in the SFV!

Was a great experience which was a surprise being we went online and took what was available at a late date. Will definitely use this one again, thanks to all involved. Out of things to say and so I’ll just repeat, Outstanding.

Its is a a very nice hotel with the most professional staff.Strategically located and easily accessible.The rooms are clean and beds are super comfy.

Loved it!! Very private!! My husband and I had a wonderful time and we will definitely be returning in the future! It's simple but quaint, and my pizza that I delivered came right to my door!! Thanks Howard Johnson Reseda, good on you!!!

Never a bad experience with Howard Johnson hotels. Loved the clean large room, huge comfy king bed, staff is super friendly, and absolutely loved the fact that our car was behind a locked gate at all times. In fact all the room doors are also behind locked gates so i felt super safe and secure at all times.

Truly nothing to write home about. While the room itself was pretty clean, and the staff was nice enough, my particular room looked out over the front / street and had lights shining in, despite the curtains, all night. Perhaps more to the point, there was simply nothing special about the room to make me want to revisit anytime soon. As an inexpensive option, I wouldn't avoid it, but it just wouldn't be my first choice.

Really nice, family-run hotel. Clean, affordable really worth the price. Nice rooms, small pool, hot tub, with a really excellent breakfast spread. I can't overemphasize how nice the family that runs it it. They jump-started our car, loaned us a scale and patiently answered all of our questions. I would book here again in a heartbeat.

It's a lot nicer than the first one I have gone too. The lobby is pretty, they have a pool and the rooms aren't so bad. This is better than Valley Inn (My ex bf got bug bites staying there). I believe I went to three diffrent hotels. I forgot what the other one was. No issues and the people seem nice as well. Although when tried to watch Youtube here it kept pausing. I don't think the Wi-Fi here is the best.

This place is a good value if you're staying in the Reseda area. Building is pretty old but rooms are clean, and during our stay everything in our room was in good working order. Check in was fast, and one of the gentlemen at the front desk helped us out and put us in a non smoking room at no additional charge after I screwed up and accidentally booked a smoking room online. Parking was always available in their secured parking out back and doesn't cost extra. Breakfast wasn't much to write home about but they have a waffle machine and coffee and it was complimentary. (With cost/value in consideration), I'd have given it 5 stars if only our key cards worked properly, but we struggled often to get access to our rooms at times, maybe the mag strips are worn on the cards. Overall a good safe place to stay.

For the price it's pretty nice, the inner pool area has a heated Jacuzzi and the rooms are fairly large which is great, has large mini fridges that are only fridges, no little tint freezer part. My only real complaints were the lack of a microwave, ( how do they expect you to heat up cold food from the fridge they provide?)the occasional prostitute wondering the second story halls on the south side area near the stairs, and the keycards which you must swipe a million times sometimes to eventually get any of the car gate or back security door open or even your own room, eventually the card will work but ita annoying to require you to swipe it over 40 times (i counted once).Stayed here for around a week and a half and overall the staff was really friendly and the breakfasts in the morning were pretty nice though

Howard Johnson, or HoJo, in Reseda was fairly decent and better than I expected. I booked a king room for 3 people but after a simple request, they gave us a double room for the same price. The room was very big and felt clean. TV in the room was a little crooked mounted but that was okay. The staff was super nice and housekeepers in AM were super nice too. Free breakfast. Has a pool and jacuzzi. Secured parking and close to many restaurants.

Room had a harsh tobacco stench mixed with some medical marijuana. Staff were super friendly. Not the best location nor considered luxurious.
