Simple hotel with all the necessities. Front facing rooms get a lot of traffic but you can see the Hollywood sign and it's not bad as long as you're not a light sleeper. You can usually request what side you prefer.

The rooms are cozy nostalgic feels like you're going into the past days of Hollywood. Location is close to any and everything you want to do. Service was great no complaints

Loved the Chic character of the place and the old school feel. very comfortable newly remodeled yet remodeled to look and still maintain the old-school feel of the Historic Hotel my room has a view of the Hollywood Sign from my window it was amazing

I would stay again but some updates would be nice too the actual rooms. The bathroom toilet was really tiny. The restaurant that's connected to the hotel has fantastic food options and specialty cocktails. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful and fairly quiet. AC can't keep up, so bit warm during day. Corner room so getting sun on both sides, could be the reason. Water temp a bit temperamental. Staff is great. Overall great place for the price and location.

The front desk man was very nice and helpful. The room is not too big but it's fine for just sleep. The bathroom is small but if you are going to use it just for a shower and a couple of times there's no matter.

Rooms were clean and recently renovated. Front desk staff were nice and helpful. Location was fine, in between downtown and Sunset strip but not walking distance to either. It is a great 3 start hotel that appears to be continuing to improve. I would stay there again.

I was treated with utmost respect and customer care quality. My experience was very positive here and very affordable. The place is kept spotless and it is very much a museum of a hotel.

Very nice hotel and comfortable bed. It was a perfect place to stay especially for the price. When I visit California again this will be my go to spot. The customer service was wonderful as well. Loved it!

Has an old world charm. Rooms were clean but dated. Location is convenient and still quit. Check in was easy, and we're happy to hold my bags when I left. I will be back.

This place gets the reviews and love it deserves. Yes, the rooms are smaller than average. Because it's a historic hotel!! The building is gorgeous inside and out. I never caught his name but the man who checked us in had delightful food recommendations. We actually took him up on one of his suggestions and it was wonderful too! Would stay here again, happily.
