Great little find for a super busy weekend in LA. And what a great time we had. This hotel stay was a party of that greatness.
Great location. Great staff. Great pricing. Friendly tenants. Quaint and intimate. Headed Pool. Only downfall, was the inability to utilize the parking lot as it was under repairs. We were told it would be avail soon, but that was not before our leave.
Decor is modern and trés chique. The name is tangerine and the lobby smells as such.
Lots of little eateries within walking distance.
Parking in the rear is available.
Very nice small hotel nice and cozy. In a good area and close to Universal Studios. That staff was very nice and the lobby room smaller like tangerines!
Clean, no bedbugs! Quirky entire wall, paper? Didn't appear to be painted. Comfortable beds, lots of pillows, and a nice comforter. Helpful staff, including a up and coming actor! (Lost and a new one called Upstart on Crackle.) Excellent Mexican restaurant with exceptional margaritas right next door! Walking distance to two other restaurants and a Subway. Good Continental breakfast, and wonderful coffee/mocha/chai machine in lobby.
Room was clean and a great size - I loved its unique modern design. All the necessities plus delicious pastries for breakfast provided. Lots of restaurants on the street, so you have plenty of dining options. Would definitely stay again!
Very clean, excellent service, great location. They really do the absolute best (nice touches) with what they have. Wonderful!
We had a very warm welcome upon check in. Room was average size but was perfect for us. Free parking right outside so the car was easy to access.
Plenty of places to eat nearby.
Pastries in the morning were fresh from Porto's bakery and were delicious!!
Tea and coffee were available in the lobby, free of charge, 24/7! Nice touch!
Very comfortable stay and would certainly stay again when we return to Burbank.
Close to universal studios and has a nice vibe. Clean rooms and fun decorations.
A great room with a great price along with free parking! The staff was very nice, and the housekeeping kept our room clean every day. If you park out back you won't have any trouble with finding a spot. I don't think I would stay anywhere else while visiting LA.
Really liked this place. The staff members were great and as helpful they could be. The food spots around here are all so great and close by which was awesome. The pool was slightly heated which was nice. They had this cool machine where you could get coffee and other drinks in the lobby and great pastries every morning. The only reason I rated this a 4 and not 5 is because we constantly had issues with the WiFi connectivity which was annoying and put a slight damper on our plans. Aside from that this place is great and would stay here again.
I stayed at the Tangerine hotel due to its close proximity to Universal Studios Hollywood. Its convenient location made getting to the park during the opening hour very easy. The staff at the hotel was very nice and the rooms were comfortable. The heater worked well and the TV had plenty of channels to watch. The bed and the pillows were just right. Breakfast pastries were pretty tasty as well, and so was the coffee made by the 24 hour machine in the lobby.
Great location as it was a quick walk down to Warner Brothers studios and a bus stop just down the road that rides down to Universal Studios. The area itself was clean and felt almost residential - not so much of the busy here - which was a plus.
It's more of a motel than a hotel if that sort of thing matters to you. The room was clean and kept clean for our three day stay. Parking spaces seemed to be limited, but we always managed to find a parking space (then again the first week of November is probably not the busiest time of the year to visit).
The pastries breakfast along with the coffee machine was okay and a nice gesture. Some fruit (oranges - just saying) and juice would have added to the morning experience.
Staff was super friendly and wish them success. Would definitely stay at the Tangerine again!
