The whole hotel has a very interesting layout, kinda like an appointment complex. Overall it was very nice and quiet place. Close to a liquor store and Starbucks.

Absolutely disgusting! We couldn’t stand to be in the room, checked in at 1030pm after a long day at Universal and left at 1130pm to go find another hotel. Area is sketchy, rooms are DIRTY there was blood on bathroom wall, dirty dusty stained table/dresser tops, matted hair under the covers. The “decorative” pillows on the bed were stained and dirty. We didn’t feel comfortable setting my stuff down on anything. The reviews are what got my attention and to book this place however they are extremely false!

They were very kind, and it's a cute place. It seems like it was once an apartment building, turned into motel rooms. My shower tub was uneven, so I was very careful when bathing, because you can easily slip and fall.
Very nice tv, and kinda roomy. I think they can definitely charge less though.

This Inn is just perfect and budget friendly. Location wise, it is near the main spots in LA and train stationis just around 15mins walk. There are also nearby Ross and Marshalls. Perfect for shopping! It is also a peaceful neighborhood. Though breakfast is basic. Nevertheless, it is nice to stay here with good service.

Great location, 2 min to subway, pool, very helpful, attentive staff. rooms on the 1st floor with balconies, convenient parking !!!
Comparing to "Economy Inn" and "Hollywood Guest Inn" .Hollywood Downtowner Inn one is realy great :). Unfortunately breakfasts are poor, monotonous. But the price to quality ratio is very good

Best Kept Secret!!
This Motel is truly an architectural Landmark! room was very spacious, clean , best breakfast ever in the AM and the people working there are simply amazing. Neighborhood is so central!

It was cheap for LA, but we didn't really get our money's worth. Parking was a great perk, and the guys working their were nice. Linty sheets, busted lamp, and bathroom doesn't have any counter space or racks. Weird motif, but that seems to be on purpose. Was kitschy for sure. Close walk to stuff, but sketchy neighborhood.

Good price. Very friendly and helpful staff. Brekky next door kids loved the pancakes.eggs were yum and cook v friendly and engaging. Thai restaurant 2 doors past Catch 56 was yummm. Bathroom and water had a stench and floors were dirty. Couldnt leave door open as screen ripped badly. No screen on bathroom window and fridge or microwave made awful sound so had to unplug. Free parking. Grocer across road and 711 down road. For families just sleeping here and on budget.

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. Price was definitely a factor in my choice to stay here - I knew I wasn't going to get a fancy, five-star hotel experience, and so I adjusted my expectations accordingly. Check-in was quick and simple, my room was clean, functional, and comfortable. The location of the hotel itself isn't particularly glamorous but it does have great access to nearby points of interest. There was a cooked buffet-style breakfast provided which isn't usually included at this price, so that was nice. I had no doubts about safety staying here. I had been here once before and it would be my first choice if I came to Los Angeles again.

This cute little yellow motel was great for an affordable place to stay in Hollywood. It's nothing fancy but it's clean and comfortable. The central courtyard surrounds the pool and the yellow/blue contrast and the pops of color with the plants is a charming combination. The room is a little less "fun" looking but everything was in good shape and clean. Bed was very comfortable. I'd definitely recommend it.
