Rooms were nice and clean. Not fancy or luxurious by any means, but they were very affordable. Great for travelers on a budget!
Location was very convenient, gas and food within walking distance. Rooms were okay. Staff was helpful but a little short. Lots of late nighters in rooms partying late is my only negative comment. Not a bad place for the price. Would stay again.
If you need a quick place to stay in the area, and you have few options, this will do. It is way too pretentious for its own good, with an internet policy akin to if such a thing existed in the 1950s They offer a shuttle bus to the parks, but it only leaves once a day after 10am, so forget getting to the parks in time to enjoy popular rides with little wait. They said they offered breakfast, but I saw no such thing.
Its best traits are being close to a Wal-Mart and Medieval Times.
First, I want to say the people are really sweet and kind! But the hotel is terrible. Updates are very necessary! It looks nothing like the pictures. The furniture was neat but it looked like it was pieced together from a thrift store. I did not mind this but the pictures were very misleading.
Decent room. Sales person though was a bit pushy with the timeshare. Told her I wasn't interested and she kept going.
Rooms are suffering from lack of maint. Staff is meh. House keeping bangs on the door like it’s an emergency 3 hours before check to tell you that they need the room. No chance I’ll ever stay here again. The smell alone is a major turn off. The “NO LOITERING” sign inside the lobby should have been my first clue. No way this is a 3 star hotel. I’ve cleaned out sewer lines that had more stars than this place. Wish I could give -stars.
We stayed 3 nights. Room and bed were clean and comfortable! However it was dated. It advertised to have breakfast which they didn't have! I would never had stayed had I of known that! Location so so, you had to go down an alley to get to it. Pallets were covering the pot holes leading to the hotel entrance. But it was cheap and clean!
Canceled after I went to the room. No fridge, dirty floors, gross bathroom. I was offered to buy drugs by one of the other guests in a room down from mine. This druggie was having a party with a bunch of his friends. Unacceptable. I was traveling with my 8 year old niece. Did not feel safe at this terrible hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
The hotel was very dirty. I had reserved a non smoking room and upon check, I was given a smoking room. They told me that they had no non smoking rooms available. Sucked it up and went to our room. The smell was horrid. There were roaches in the room. The bathroom ceiling was molded and looked like it would fall through at any moment. My husband went to the office to complain and suddenly they have a non smoking room available. The new room in the front building was better but I still refused to walk barefoot in the room. I will never stay here again.
I stayed here during a recent trip to Disney. I was in room 182, right near the pool and the restaurant. The room was a good size, had 2 beds, and little breakfast nook table, and a decent shower and vanity section. If you are looking for a cheap hotel, close to food and theme parks then I definitely reccomend here! (Only 4 stars because after walking around theme parks for 2 days, I would've killed for a hot tub)
I travel a lot. And I book hotels, motels, air bnb all the time. But this has to be the worst experience ever. My money matters to me as I work hard to earn it, so even though I've had some snags in other stays I've not spent more money to leave one hotel and stay in another, but this place left me with no choice. I checked out the same day. Now let me tell you why.
This "hotel" is way in the back of a street. It does not look or feel safe. Not a concern to me really cause I've stayed in lots of bad areas, but let's continue.
The staff was come and go upon check in. Read everyone else's comments. They can be nice and they can be rude. I can tell from the first interaction. The lobby area is old looking. We were given our room after being charged a "resort" fee for each day. Which I generally don't mind but after seeing that came next I was extremely pissed off.
We parked on the back side of this place because that's where they had our room. The door is about half an inch off the pavement and you can tell if something wanted to get in it could. When we opened the door we were met with an "antique" smell. And even though it was a non smoking room it smelled faintly of smoke. The actual room and it's decor looks like they picked up whatever another motel was throwing out. We checked the restroom and it had hair on the toilet. We checked the bed and alas, hoping we wouldn't find any bugs, we did A dead roach was also found in the corner of the room behind a seat near the door. The floor is an old dirty tile by the way.
We checked out immediately. I hope that anyone reading this trusts me when I say this isn't a place to take anyone even for a nights stay. We felt dirty leaving the room. Howard Johnson should be ashamed of itself.
I had to stay here for ten days or more while waiting to move into my new home.. I find the staff to be caring. If i had to ask for service they came in a timely matter. It is a convenient place to stay..close to stores and bus stop..
It's a dump, I paid $250. for a week (& that's a 40 percent discount! ) to stay here & look at the photos I uploaded, see for yourself. This is what Florida has to offer these days folks, bad place to go on vacation. If you want a place clean , well maintained, that isn't a ghetto / trailer park atmosphere be prepared to spend $200.- $300. per night. To be fair the front desk manager did give me a refund minus 1 night because I requested the refund 2 hrs after I checked in. He said if I requested the refund within 15 minutes they would have issued a full refund, so that was fair. I can say I will not be looking for any more hotels in the Orlando/ Kissimmee /Disney area after this experience, I will be getting out of Dodge if you know what I mean!
