This was a terrible experience. We came with extended family for a Christmas getaway to stay and play at the Mall. There is no hot tub, the pool was freezing cold, and the pool room itself was so cold that you had to be lucky enough to sit under a heater and still wrap in towels to be able to feel your toes. Our kids are swimming nuts and even they couldn’t handle the place for more than ten minutes. The temperatures of the rooms was impossible to control. We were on the fourth floor with the air conditioning on in the frigid winter and still sweating hot. The lobby area- where you are supposed to enjoy a nice breakfast- was ice cold. Multiple guests complained to the host and they said there was nothing they could do- unwilling to make a simple phone call and TRY to fix it. Bring your blankets and jackets to breakfast! Additionally, the hotel advertises 24/7 room service. However, nothing was available to eat Christmas night- the host managed to pull a few pieces of fruit for us. When we tried ordering room service the next night, we were told they don’t do deliveries and we would need to go down to the lobby to pick it up. Not exactly room service! They didn’t even have Kleenex in the rooms- in the middle of a MN winter. Horrible experience at what should have been a classier hotel. The pool room looks like a dive at a discount hotel, not what you’d expect from a Hyatt. I would not recommend this place for any reason.
Priced affordably. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Housekeeping service was very attentive and quick to respond. Noise level wasn't bad at all. But elevators were slow, and parking can be tight when its busy. Otherwise great stay.
I stayed at this hotel for a conference. The room was very large and clean. The complimentary breakfast was amazing, I highly recommend it. I did not use the gym, but the outdoor pool was well-kept. The staff at the hotel were very professional and friendly. The only things I did not like were the small bathroom, although the shower was a nice size, and my key cards kept being deactivated, even though I made sure to keep them away from my phone and wallet, so I did have to go up to the front desk a few times. The hotel is also within walking distance to several restaurants and bars. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, maybe just for the breakfast!
The rooms are quite nice and kept well clean. Breakfast is provided and it offers a fair variety (eggs, meat, waffles, parfait ingredients, cereal, bagels/toast/English muffins, fresh fruit, and coffee) which was pleasantly surprising. Downside: the elevators are old and decrepit, which for a fancier hotel was a little disturbing for me but it didn't effect my overall stay.
Spacious, clean rooms. Room was quiet despite being next to elevator. Good location to restaurants.
An unexpectedly nice little hotel. The people who work here are very friendly and will help you out with whatever you need. The rooms are spacious; some have huge comfy couches. There is a great counter space that is totally empty and at the perfect height for doing your makeup. I would totally come back.
The crew here is genuinely warm and caring. Everyone has a good attitude. I'm very impressed with the front desk staff.
The hotel was okay for the price. The first room we were given was clean and pretty nice but had a broken door. The second one we were given had questionable stains but was the only other room available apparently. The best part was the staff member Ian, he came up to our room without skipping a beat to see if he could help us out himself. He was friendly and made the transition from one room to the other less annoying. It's a fine place to stay in for one night though.
The front desk staff was accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with all the conveniences. My 7 year old son has stayed at both Hyatt locations near universal studios with me and loved it. I only suggest a better breakfast selection. Pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon was our choice for a hot meal. The other Hyatt location across from Universal had an excellent spread my son loved. I'm a central Florida resident and will be returning for future trips.
Great location and pricing. Nice and clean. Breakfast had several options to start off your morning meal.
Nice hotel, very clean, room I stayed in had refrigerator, comfortable bed(s), very nice sitting area (much better than standard cheap chair(s) and table, and overall nice accommodations. Directly adjacent to I-Drive Orlando Eye, shopping, and restaurants. Only .7 miles from Convention Center which allowed for a very economical taxi/Uber ride to and from there.
Hotel has a great price and the rooms are decent. The only reason it gets three stars instead of 4 is that the other convention center hotels are in a class of their own. If you are looking for a good price come here. If you are looking for opulence or a more majestic hotel, book closer to the convention center.
The service was great. The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was clean also. It's a great location, that though surrounded by tourist destination on a busy strip, was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was included from 7-10am. They provided the typical Continental breakfast with eggs (boiled and scrambled option), variety of cereals, outmeal, fruits, bacon, coffe, tea, and even almond milk. Really enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend this hotel!
