Older motel but kept up really good ..very clean, exceptional housekeeping, manager really nice and understanding, all staff are really helpful and kind.. breakfast is good and plentiful

At check in the guy behind the counter only said two words to me. When I entered my room I was over taken with a musty smell. On top of that the heater/a.c. had not been cleaned in a long time as there was a thick layer of dust on the filters. The fan on the heater made funky noises. The bed was not to bad. The sheets where clean. The over all cleanliness of the room was below par. There was paint splatter all over the coffee maker. The wood floor was sticky.

After bad experiences at Econo Lodge on the other street side we stayed three nights at Howard Johnson. Everything was fine: friendly stuff, clean and good maintained room

Not a bad hotel. Beds were good enough. I do think that for almost $100 it would not have a greasy tile floor. I walked around in my shoes!

Hotel was clean and tidy. Management at from desk was very rude when I asked for a little extra time to get my things together. She stood in the doorway and threatened to call the police on the guest. Would not even allow guest to close the door in order to get dressed. She held the door open while the guest attempted to get dresses w/ house keeping standing outside of the door w/ her looking in. Very rude. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting as long as she is working at the front desk. She definitely requires some kind of compassion training.

Booked this hotel for a great deal before reading any reviews. To be honest I was really nervous after reading the reviews on here and almost cancelled!! Glad I didn't, though, because the room was clean (and we did a very thorough check for bugs), the beds were fine, and everything worked in our room. I agree with the other reviewers about the biscuits being hard as a rock, but other than that our stay was enjoyable. Traveled with three kiddos under the age of 8 and we were satisfied.

The hotel was very clean. The rooms were on the smaller side. The location was convenient for my family as we were going home from Florida and it was on the way. There was complimentary breakfast and besides the microwaved eggs it was alright.

A quality hotel that gives you a 4 star service. This place has been one of the best I have stayed in all year. Big rooms, courtsey room service, and solid location from downtown.

My employer put me up here for one week it was a very good stay. I had to leave for the weekend but I'm back here again for another week. I got here check my room over and got a call from the front desk to make sure everything was fine so far so good. I'll add to my review later.

Will not ever stay again, check in clerk was coughing her head off & mentioned she needed Lysol to spray for germsspreading hers everywhere. Bed skirt ripped, sink need cleaning, mold & food in sick drain, commode was sluggish, bathtub needs slip proof protection, roach crawling across room. Air conditioner/ heater knob was stripped & was a challenge to get a decent air flow in room
