It was the first time I stayed at this location and it was not bad. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool even though it was too cold for my tastes. And you can't beat the all you can eat breakfast.
We love Hampton Inns this particular one is the worst one we have ever stayed in! When we checked in and got to our room it looked like someone had been in our room. The door was propped open , tv was on and there was stuff in the bathroom. Also the elevator was broken and we were on the 5th floor. And the breakfast was not any better. People waited 30 minutes for eggs and potatoes and there was no cups for the drinks. Definitely this hotel needs some help!
I love this Hampton.. Free breakfast.. Excellent customer service. Clean room. And cookies are put out at nite for the customers.. 😉
Hampton inn is a fairly reliable stay. This one is no different. Not the nicest place I have ever stayed but affordable for a family of 3-4 and clean enough. Beds pillows towels and such are just fine.
Overall a wonderful stay. A group of us booked two suites, which could ft up to 6 (two queen sized beds and a pullout), and even with all of that going on we still had plenty of space in the room. The beds were comfortable, even the pullout one. Each room was clean, air conditioning worked great, and you couldn't hear anything going on outside of your own room, which makes for a much more relaxing time. Breakfast was a typical one of pastries and cereal, but the line for waffles was over a 30 minute wait, which seemed crazy. The water pressure was awful, and the whole hotel smelled like septic on the second day and the staff said it was from outside and they couldn't do anything about it.
Hampton Inn is always my favorite place to stay when traveling. This particular location has very comfortable beds (as always), clean rooms and a nice breakfast. The best part of any stay at a Hampton Inn, at least to me, are their pillows and duvet covers - they make you feel like you're sleeping in a cloud!😀❤
This was our first stop on the way to Virginia to attend a friend's wedding. We stayed one night, slept very well, and had a very nice stay. Kudos to Trisha and the staff who helped make that stay so great. We actually had to change rooms because the room we were assigned to wasn't really ready so we were upgraded to a different room with no problems. Hampton is one of our favorite places to stay.
Safe area. Clean. Walking distance to Applebee's. polite and friendly staff. Lobby and room was clean! Breakfast was a standard free breakfast, no complaints. Will stay here again
Driving from FL or NY we needed a pit stop. Found this place and they were great. I originally goofed through the Hilton app and booked The following night (it was after midnight) at a different Hampton. That Hampton called this one and saved us a lot of trouble. The gentlemen at the counter here politely handled my "where are you and how do I find you," questions with a smile and even had me laughing when I got here-despite being annoyed at myself and tired. Since we checked in at 3 am and I'm a Hilton rewards points member he also offered us late check out. Great customer service. From both Hamptons.
The room was clean and as expected from a Hampton, which I happen to like. The shower took a minute for the water to get hot but when it did it was nice and steamy.
For breakfast, one of the ladies keeping the area clean and stocked was very on point. I didn't see the honey so she pointed it out. Then my boyfriend picked up both our plates and she asked him if he needed a knife and handed it to him. It was a simple little thing but it showed extra effort.
If I drive to FL again, this is definitely a Hampton I will check for availability
Its not a super fancy or fabulous hotel, but was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The hot breakfast is subpar.. Just a selection of bagels/breads/muffins, sausage and prefab eggs. It did the trick though.
One of the worst Hamptons we ever stayed in. Can't imagine that the bathroom in a Hampton could be this bad. Both of us almost fell in this shower. Incredibly slippery tub with no safety strips (actually looks like the were worn away). The shower head was broken as well. The chair in our room is worn and ripped in the arms of the chair. I called front desk. She didn't know how to address the issue of the bathroom as manager was not in. Very disappointing for hotel that is supposed to be 3 stars. Also booked this based on ratings. Called hotel prior to booking to ask about rooms, age, and recent upgrades, etc. This hotel room is definitely not a 3 star hotel worth the cost!! Plenty of other hotels to choose from here. Wouldn't stay here again !!!
Very nice staff. Great rooms. Spacious bathroom. Nice bed and pillows. Comfortable and safe.
We reserved a suite. Check in was fast, the room was incredibly clean and well made. The location is in a cluster of similar hotel chains with many 24 hour restaurants within the loop. There is an Applebee's practically in the parking lot of this hotel.
Probably one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in.
In addition, the guy who let me in at my very late 2 AM arrival was incredibly patient and helpful. Didn't catch his name, unfortunately.
I stayed here on my way to and from a family reunion--the manager at the front desk in the morning (Gregory, I think? I'm so bad with names) is worth mentioning for his professionalism.
Not only did he remember me from my initial stay, but he also cheered me up, which is always nice.
I travel pretty often, but this is the first hotel review I've written. So, yeah--good place.
