Great stay! The rooms and the property is very clean, the staff was great and the breakfast was fresh. I definitely got the most bang for my buck. I look forward to staying again!
Rooms were decent sized. Both beds were well made, and the room was orderly. Found bed bugs in the first room. I was transferred to a different room that was equivalent in order and appearance, however, both needed a more thorough cleaning. Staff was presentable and courteous. They handled the situation quickly and had a replacement room for me very quickly. Overall enjoyed my time in the area and the room was exactly what I needed for my stay.
Very clean and staff friendly and helpful. This BW has been fully updated. Very pleasant and clean. We will stay there again when the need arises. Overall, one of the best we've stayed in. A little off the beaten track but well worth the extra to stay there for the cost.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was outstanding! Waffles, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, etc. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs as well! It was a great stay! We will stay here again.
My husband and I arrived after 11pm to this hotel after driving 16 hours. My husband and I were looking for what we had come to expect from Best Western, a great night sleep and a hearty breakfast in the morning. The room had a stale smell which made me feel sick and in the morning when we were still tired and very hungry we were told that breakfast was not being offered which is the entire reason I choose to stay at Best Westerns in the 1st place. Why would I choose to pay $100 for 7 hours in a hotel when I could pay $40-50 for the same service. My husband and I were never told at check in that breakfast would not be served in the morning. In fact, at check in the gentleman behind the counter gave us the room key in an envelope and said that the list of amenities was on the back a full hot breakfast was 1st on that list. We were truly counting on that meal to keep us energized for the duration of our drive south. I feel as though I was denied a service and completely overpaid for one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.
We booked 3 rooms during labor day weekend. It was average type of hotel. Rooms were cleaned but lot of flying bugs was surrounding the rooms. If you're planning to stay there in summer, be careful they have low cooling AC which takes almost a day to make your room cool. Didn't find any wow factor to give 4 or 5 star.
Nice, clean, quiet room with comfortable king bed. Microwave and frig also in room. Nice toiletries provided. Breakfast service was great but unfortunately the hot food was not as tasty as many places I have stayed with similar set up. Cereals, breads, yogurts, fruits, etc were standard.
Definitely a good value for the price. Will stay again as I pass through the area.
They have done a great job improving all of this hotel including the rooms. I would highly recommend this hotel, except that they did not install new air conditioners so as a result my wife and I laid in bed sweating and awake for much of the night.
They spent a lot of money doing a thorough job of renovating almost everything.Surely they must have known about the old AC units but chose not to replace them to save money. It spoiled what was otherwise a very pleasant stay forever us.
This hotel was very clean from inside the room to the outside grounds parking lot and stairwell. The staff were friendly and happy
and very helpful.
The breakfast was fresh and hot and the attendant was friendly as well and very helpful.
We love BW and try and stay when ever we can!
The motel grounds were very well kept. Rooms were newly renovated and therefore very comfortable. Breakfast had both hot and cold items and it was sufficient for a decent breakfast. I just found the breakfast area very crowded but everyone was patient enough and the staff kept food replenished as needed. Overall, this is a good place to stay and the location is ideal for shoppers. It's also 5 mile easy drive to the historic area. The only thing I don't like is the inflated price for weekends. It is pretty well double the price from weekdays.
My husband was having surgery on Wednesday morning. We live several hours from the hospital,so we needed to be in Savanah on Tuesday evening. We arrived around midnight. We had to leave at 4:00 am Although we were there only a few hours, we were able to relax and get a comfortable rest. We had no complaints and would stay again if we get the opportunity.
We were looking for a very basic hotel. Nothing fancy. The General Manager checked us in at the front desk and was not very polite or helpful. When we got to our room the fridge did not work which was frustrating. The saving grace for this motel was that it is clean! I was very pleased with the cleanliness! And we encountered the cleaning staff a couple of times and they were very friendly and you could tell they cared about doing a good job. Unfortunately the final disappointment was the continental breakfast. the Dining area was WAY to small for the size of motel and amount of traffic!
( and we were there on a weekday) the breakfast was also not being kept up- so they ran out of everything and there seemed to be no staff interested in bringing more food out. not a great stay overall.
Great value for the money. Would recommend. Planes late at night come pretty close and loud but that did not bother me. Bed was a little springy and noisy but the hotel itself was clean and nice with plenty of parking and lived up to the Best Western name. I would stay again if they kept the rate about the same.
