Not what I would expect from a Country Inn & Suites. My 18month old stepped on a burr in the room. My older kids looked around and found three more. Then I found one in the bed! So strange. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable. The only other issue is that this hotel is very close to the army base so the airplanes & helicopters fly right over and are quite loud. I have 3 kids so I can sleep through anything, but if you are sensitive to sound, you might need some ear plugs.

The service has been great and the room we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite it was very spacious just needs updating they have painted and forgot to pull the painters tape off some places the breakfast is not bad for being free

This is not a 4 star hotel, but I'm giving it an extra star based on the good price for our king size suite.
The hotel is going thru renovations so while some reviewers had issues, we must have gotten a newly renovated room, as everything was nice, carpets were clean, linens were clean, room had a separate living area, fridge, microwave, coffee service, etc.
Separate bedroom was large with king bed, living room and bedroom each had their own tv's. Living area had a good out couch and chair with table and chair for work.
We got the room for 102/night. Compared to the 80 we were paying for the other hotel down the road, this was a steal.
Indoor heated pool, and washer dryer facilities right down the hallway.
One thing I can never figure out is why do these places always put the toilet paper so far from the toilet? I can only imagine my short wife stretching her arm across the bathroomresponse / report this review -

The carpet seemed damp and was disgusting with visiable dirt. The bathroom was dirty. The bed swayed with every movement. There was mold and my allergies from it made even the 8 hour stay unbearable. The hallway and door of my room had wet paint signs all over. I’m not sure why they would put a guest in a room that had wet paint on the door. The building outside was nice enough, and it was decorated for Halloween, which was cute. However, it definitely was not worth the money.Somehow the gm thinks that these conditions are acceptable due to renovations. Damp and filth carpets. Wet paint. Mold. Moldy tea bag in the coffee pot. For over $100 one night? Spend your money elsewhere. With my brother in law and his unit deploying, most hotels were booked up. If it had no been so late when I arrived and only a few hours stay anyhow so we could see him off, I would’ve walked right back out and spent double elsewhere to get away. I didn’t utilize the pool, but passed it and it was absolutely disgusting. The entire interior of the hotel was revolting.

The lobby is having new floors put in, but it didn't interfere with the stay. Really reasonably priced, clean room, friendly staff, great location. ..will stay again! !

Cockroach in one room, move to another and woke up to one on the bed! Poor updates with a fresh coat of paint. Dirty pool. No manager on duty on the weekend if you have any problems .

It was very nice. I would have liked the curtins to close tighter to keep the light out. But it was an over all good experience. They had a nice continental breakfast that accommodated my diabetic needs and waffles and anything else for our teenaged grand kids. The pool and hot tub were nice also.

This hotel is good, not great! They are clearly in the process of updating the hotel and a few key pieces of the update are not finished. There was leftover paint on all of the light switches from where they had been torn off the walls and reattached after the new paint dried. The carpet was stained in the middle of our room and the toilet was dirty.
However, the employees are very nice and the room was otherwise clean. The breakfast goes quickly so you have to get there early and there are not a lot of options. But it's free and there is always lots of coffee available!
Overall, the room was a little pricy for what you get buy it's only 5 miles from downtown Savannah and there are lots of restaurants near by. Very family friendly area!response / report this review -

Located conveniently. NO towels in the pool room for 2 days. Air units are too loud in the rooms. King suite was nice but the shower head needs improvement, water comes out in tiny pinhead sized streams, not enough water. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was great! Overall, pleasant experience, this is our 6th time staying here.

The room has very clean. Hostess was very knowledgeable. Cleaning staff was very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast runs out fast and replenishment was very slow. Overall our party was very happy.

The location is good, there are plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The room was clean and the furnishings okay, if a bit worn. The service was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this as a budget friendly place to stay in Savannah.

In my 30s with no back problems until I stayed here. Pretty sure the mattress was from the 80s. So much pain! It looks better in the pictures than it actually is. Not worth the money!
