Floors were dirty, toliet didn't work right, shades didn't close all the way, it smelled. Breakfast was not existent. Great location though.

Really expect more from a La Quinta than this. Very much an outdated dive. Old furniture, dingy bathroom, littered parking lot, scary breakfast. Doors open to the outside, and just outside is a busy highway. If you're used to a certain standard w/ La Quintas, you'll be greatly disappointed by this one.

Me and my husband recently moved to area due to work and stayed there two weeks till we found a kitchenette, if there was one at this hotel I wouldn't have left. The room was good and no problems with it at all. The hotel front desk ladies were very sweet and always helpful. Working with public it always takes a smile and they defiantly had it, good job ladies . As far as housekeeping I clean my own room because we pack so much and it's easier for me to clean , but the housekeeper I dealt with daily was Lady Dej I think that's correct, I let her know the first day I clean my room myself and everyday she came to make sure I had everything and would ask if I needed her to do anything. I asked her to change beds one day and she was on it happy to do. She was very pleasant to deal with, got anything I asked for and always had a smile on her face. My stay was great and would definitely stay there again . Great job ladies keep up the good work y'all are doing it right. Y'all should be recognized for a satisfied customer for 2 weeks. Used during hurricane. Great stop if you have dogs of any size. No extra charge and very accomodating. Staff was courteous and very helpful.

This was your typical off the highway, older, hotel. It had outdoor access to the rooms, which always kind of freaks me out. But, front staff girl was pleasant and room was clean. No bugs, room was in need of some maintenance. It was a place to lay our heads for the night and we were grateful. We LOVED the fact our dog was welcome. The breakfast in b the morning is not worth your time though! ! Really bad selection and food was cheap.

Great prices, clean rooms, super bed! Love the handicap accessible bathroom. Lots of space. This is my first time at a La Quinta Inn and it will be my go too hotel from now on!

I had a few miner problems with my stay. The first room they gave us the ac wasn't working. Not a problem,gave us another room. It happens. After we put our stuff in the room. When we went to make a cup of coffee the outlets didn't work. So the Hai dryer wouldn't have worked either. Called the desk again. They said they'd make a note of it. Now we're tired so no coffee we'll just take a shower and go to bed. My husband go's to get in the shower and there's only one bath towel. No answer at the desk so I go down stairs again. I wait a few minutes and the girl comes out of the back. (I'm assuming she was doing something for another guest) I tell her I only have one towel, she turns around and gets me one . Puts it on the counter and says here. That's it. Not sorry or anything. After I take my shower I get out and see long dark hair on the floor. Can't be mine ( my hair is short and grey and my husband's is shaved). Needless to say I wasn't very happy.
It looked very nicely decorated.
In the morning we go down to have coffee before we leave. Cant have it in our room.There are 3 or 4 woman around the desk talking, and the trash can for the breakfast area is full. I mean you had to balance the trash on top of the container.
It's just a shame , traveling is stressful enough. When I get to a room I just want to relax. This just didn't happen . What looked like a nice place to stay and would be if taken better care of.response / report this review -

Checked into our room and it was so hot. The thermostat on the a/c unit was set on 60. We waited thinking the temperature of the room would begin to catch up to the a/c setting so we could put the setting higher, but it never did. We got moved to another room and waited, the same thing. Only in the new room, NONE of the lamps or plugs worked near the bed or on the night stands! The shower curtain smelled sour. We didn't move to yet another room, because we were so exhausted. We never had these problems at any La Quinta before, including this one when we stayed at it four years ago. Guarantee, we WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE EVER AGAIN!

Staying at La Quinta is always fun. The staff was nice and we saw some amazing dogs, as always. But, we'll look at a different locale next time we visit Savannah; the AC was unusually noisy and we had dirty towels in the room. Not our favorite LaQuinta.

At first I thought it was an okay cheap hotel and wasn't expecting much but there were a few things that made the stay worse than anticipated. The bathroom wasn't one of the cleanest, some yellowing in the shower and on the bathtub and toilet. The toilet tank cover was cracked, which didn't affect the experience aside from the fact that it made everything feel even cheaper than it was already. My brother found out the hard way that the plumbing wasn't great and the toilet wouldn't flush properly. A call to the front desk didn't help. Roughly an hour later and many flush attempts later it was ready for the next person, fortunately it never overflowed, just not enough flushing power. There were also bugs in the bathroom. Finally room service came and straightened up, and took our towels but didn't leave new ones. Overall the stay wasn't entirely uncomfortable but wasn't exactly pleasant either.

The front desk staff was very friendly and professional. Some reviews mention bugs, but I did not see any bugs during my one night stay; however the cleaning staff should be retrained or replaced. My toilet had old urine on the seat and around the bottom of it. The reviews about the hair on the sheets and pillows are true but looked more like pet hair which can be hard to get rid of I guess. If you stay here make a trip to Walmart for some Clorox wipes, Lysol, pillow covers and cases and shower shoes. Sounds harsh, but that's what I had to do to be halfway comfortable.

Good place for a good night's sleep. Bed comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Slightly run down, but in the process of renovations. Work that has been done is good. Got a little loud a few times with people walking back and forth outside door, and barking dogs nextdoor. Still was able to get a nice night's sleep. Would definitely stay again.

I do not travel that much by car. So that being said I spent the night here on the way down to Tampa Florida about 10 years ago?. I do not know if the hotel was newer then but it was clean.
Late-night check-in was good and the girl helped us, we went right to bed had a little breakfast snack in the morning and hit the road. Quick stay was good.
I have been reading the reviews that people have given since then and it worries me because I have also booked two nights at this hotel going down and coming back from Florida in July 2017.
I hope this place is not gone downhill because it will not turn out well for the hotel in the end. Please make sure that you have everything the way it was, as before during my last visit. 4 stars for back then. In July ? Time will tell.. Thank you.response / report this review
