I love staying there. In my opinion it's the best for it's star rating. Employees treat you like family and are always prompt about taking care of any problems. Other hotels have a lot of outdoor traffic but it's almost non existent there. They do not allow undesirable activities on site.

It was the filthiest dirtiest place I've ever been and the customer service or the customer satisfaction was lowest ever I would never stay there again even though I'm a native of Colorado Springs

I've been staying here for 3 weeks or so and staff is super friendly great place as far as a safe place for children and every other comedies they have to provide. Keep it up staff.

Absolutely Wonderful and Howard Johnson is a trusted name thru out the years. Employees were very friendly and accommodating. The room was HUGE and a lovely King size bed with no stains at allno stains on furniture not floor. I was very impressed. EVERYTHING was spotless and clean, non-smoking and the price was Extremely Affordable which makes this location at 8280 Voyager Pkwy 80920 a PRIME and favorite location to go to, Seriously and l felt Safe there also. The N Academy location has an amazing view of Pikes Peak! Visiting a friend I was only able to see very little but the outer atmosphere of the hotel was a bit discouraging as it needed some upgrading. It would probably be second choice compared to surrounding hotels but still seems like a decent hotel.

Economy is certainly the proprietary offering here, deferred maintenance is visable at all levels. Doors ajar, fans not working, dirty walk ways. No service available to quiet noisy guests at 2am. Smoke from others seeps through the vent. Noisy plumbing sounds through the night. Limited breakfast offering. Best to choose else where, only as a last resort or due to budget stay here.

We was very happy with this hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. They help make our stay great very friendly. We will be coming back. A BIG THANK YOU!!!! to all the stuff for doing a GREAT JOB ON making us feel welcome!!!! Our room was clean and comfortable! We arrived early in the morning and they let us check in so our kids had a place to sleep. We call that great service. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR TIME AND EFFORT!!!

I expected more from Howard-Johnson. The wait to check in was about 20 minutes, the elevator floor was sticky and not cleaned in the 11 hours we where there. Most surfaces where dirty and battered. There was hair in the bath tub, and a dirty bed spread. Most of the phone buttons where missing. The T.V. was easily 15 years old. The elevator is small and has a useless door in front of it. The A/C was loud, and the door didn't seal But at least the hallway had a strong urine smell.

Simply stopped by to visit parents. Room looked okay for a cheap hotel option. A/C worked and beds were ok. Like I said a good cheap hotel.

Needs laundry facilities for extended stay guests. Small bathrooms and old tvs. But friendly staff. Clean rooms. And good location, near Walmart, mall, and whole foods. :)

Very old and out of date. Bathroom is very small. The whole hotel needs a upgrade and to be cleaned better! Dirty shower and tub. Who still has box tv's anymore? Front desk staff are not warm or friendly. Needs to be tore down and rebuilt!

WOW! I work in hospitality and travel A LOT for business but had never had the pleasure of staying at The Howard Johnson. I went for a conference but extended my trip and brought my mom with me. It was an amazing experience! The staff took great care of both of us, and the location is just perfect.

Avoid at ALL costs. Housekeeping could not be worse. Facility maintenance is poor. The breakfast is very poor. Fancy a nightly trip to the front desk to get towels? You'll be right at home. Feel lucky enough to find they'll have some? Then you'll love the nightly game. Stayed 12 nights, one with towels. The ONLY reason we stayed was the time with family was too important to waste on finding a new hotel.
