  Really great place! Awesome to stay in a residential neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are cozy and warm, plenty of character. Nice breakfast and close proximity to great food. I can't wait to come back!

  Convenient, friendly staff, and has some historical significance. Great for travelers wanting to stay in Chelsea that don't plan on spending much time in their hotel room.

  Friendly manager, however the facilities are quite old, and the air conditioner is very loud and noisy. Unable to get a good night's sleep.

  Loved this place. Charming building and decor, great rooftop terrace for an evening lounge with a beer. My bed was firm and my room was quiet, except for the morning commuters honking, but you cant blame the b&b for that. Will stay again.

  Safe, secure, and LGBT friendly hotel. Has free WiFi just ask for the password. Roof deck is clothing optional so you can sun bathe naked.

  Clean,tidy and comfortable!!
  price is good for the Chelsea area,close to shopping..bus and subway lines are also less than 1 block away..
  Highly recommend the suit ~w~the jacuzzi

  We cannot say enough positive things about Colonial House Inn our go to hotel in NY. More a B & B, we are made to feel right at home and we make ourselves right at home. Our early check in was greatly appreciated and we were not rushed out the door even after check out. I sat quietly watching "Twilight" on TV waiting for my daughter and her boyfriend into the late evening hours after check out. The gentleman at the desk conversed with me lightly about "Twilight" and never once made me feel like an intruder. We love Colonial House Inn and consider it our "home in the city". Thank you to everyone at Colonial House for making us feel like family!! We'll be back soon.

  It's very conveniently located and comparatively cheap. Shared bathrooms are clean and they provide a continental breakfast from 8-10.
  
  Good place to stay if you have to stay in Chelsea.
