The room was in poor shape. Rust in bathroom. Bathroom not cleaned properly. Although the staff was very friendly and very helpful.

It is now named 'The Watson'. It was well refurbished. It is nicely located in Hell's Kitchen, it is clean with good bedding. The walls are a little thin but our neighbors were quiet.

This hotel is now called the Watson Hotel. Older hotel with old rooms and narrow elevators. Very hot, no air conditioning. If you want breakfast you have to pay for it in the restaurant. The only good thing about this hotel is Law and Order: Special Victim Unit films a lot in their lobby area so you may spot a celebrity. I spotted Ice T when I was staying here!

Beautiful lobby, nice staff and nice atmosphere! I was there for a business meeting, so that is all I can really say about it. The meeting room is through the lobby and I love how welcoming it all feels! I enjoy going there every Tuesday night. The location is nice because you have a lot of affordable restaurants around such as Burrito Box across the street and the diner down the same block as Burrito Box. It is also near all of the trains. Really great location.

Stayed at this hotel numerous times and have always had a positive experience. This time front desk staff was rude. Lobby is definitely showing signs of age as well as corridors on hotel room floors. Hotel room itself is clean. Breakfast in restaurant mediocre. Hotel is changing ownership/name middle of February which makes me wonder if it lost its Holiday Inn status.

Impossible group of people to work with! I tried booking 3 times now with them this month. Why? Well there's a New York Fashion show going on Feb,11 after explaining i only needed the room a few hours and i would be happy to pay the whole day stay 214.00 for a few hours all i asked was if i could have access to the room a few hours earlier. No! But you can call. Right then find out that day i cant get into the room then there goes my non refundable $ 214.00 no thanks! Best thing to do is not bother! Plenty of other hotels. And for the New York Fashion show if this is how they treat your costumers maybe you should have your show somewhere else!

Went to the bar for some drinks. The Cosmo's were absolutely amazing!! Service was amazing, friendly, fast, and on point!! We used the parking garage and even they were so quick and friendly. We will definitely go back!!

Dreadful hotel. We came from the UK to spend Christmas and New Year here. The staff are rude and unhelpful. On Christmas night, the waiters in the restaurant were appalling. They were clearly annoyed at having to work on Christmas Day and were rude to customers and ignored them. Many walked out of the restaurant. Tables were left uncleared and the place looked dirty, while the waiters played on their mobile phones instead of attending to their duties and their customers. We reported this to the management and they were not interested.
Little wonder their Holiday Inn franchise has been taken away.response / report this review
