Everything was excellent the girls didn't like the waffle mix but it was other things to accommodate them. The room was clean and beautiful.From entering the parking lot to walking inside i was impressed.Thanks for making our stay well worth it.

We are presently staying at Home2 Suites in North Charleston. The staff is great and we are very happy. Just wanted to mention one in particular her name is Nan. She is very knowledgeable about the area and she not only answered all our questions but also gave suggestions for shopping and eating. We will be suggesting this place to family members and friends.

Room was much larger than expected, while still being affordable. Breakfast consists of sandwiches you can heat up in a microwave and make your own (whole wheat) waffles, plus some fruit and cereal and that kinda stuff. The waffle station was kind of setup off the side, and I didn't notice it in my half awake state. Also didn't have orange juice either morning I was there. Has a salt water pool and fitness center, though I didn't get to test out either of them.

Large room size was very comfortable. Beds are soft and restful. Only one criticism: if you are going to serve breakfast items that require a microwave oven, place more than two microwaves in the kitchen area. Otherwise great lodging experience!

Third trip here and I will return. I'll describe my experience so it will be a useful review, but first, I want to give credit to two employees who went above and beyond. G.G. made a friend of my 4 year old at breakfast and he was very fond of her. Greg at the front desk made check in very smooth and pleasant. The extra kindness shown by both of them made me take note to be sure to include in my review.
First, I will say that the manager made sure we enjoyed our trip. There were several special touches left for us and it made a possibly stressful trip much more calm and convenient.
As another high point, I want to point out the sheets. My most recent hotel stay was in a very high end hotel and the sheets at the Home2Suites were better. Softer and more comfortable. The sleep quality was great- comfortable mattresses, very little noise, and good light reduction from the blinds. There was a night light type feature on the outlet by the bathroom that was a bit bright for my tastes, so I laid my beach bag up against it to block it (I like a very dark room).
The staff was very attentive and friendly and the location of this hotel is perfect- convenient to all the things we were trying to get to in Charleston. I had no trouble with anything and found the room to be well-stocked and exactly what we needed. The place was completely booked due to the solar eclipse occurring at the time of our visit and the staff had it all handled. Check in took 2 minutes, the room was ready, people seemed to be happy, and all was right with the world.response / report this review -

Easy to locate. Clean parking lot. Very nice, welcoming lobby.
Rooms are very nice, comfortable and modern. Housekeeping would receive a 'B'. Front desk, very nice, helpful, friendly ladies. Extremely fast at resolving anything brought to their attention.
Breakfast was plentiful with multiple options. Coffee, excellent. Would like to see sugar free options.
Free shuttle service.
Near Walmart and outlets. Near several places to eat. Close to airport.response / report this review -

I liked the extra square feet in the room but the cookie cutter effect in this brand Home2 Suites by Hilton is evident in the rooms. Clean rooms, nice staff.

It was a very nice place to stay. The room was ready early and had games and other things to do in the lobby while we waited. The only thing that wasn't in the best condition is the couch!

Clean, modern rooms. Very friendly helpful staff. Great location, right across the street from the convention center & plenty of restaurants close by. Also convenient for shopping at the outlets close by.

I would highly recommend the French Quarter Inn! It feels like "home" and the extras are amazing! Our favorite was the wine reception each night! It's so hard to find a spacious bathroom in downtown Charlestonthe French Quarter Inn has very large bathrooms with high end fixtures.
