We had no idea how much we would love this place until we were there. The inn is basically the upper level of several buildings combined into an "Inn" but the only place you really feel like it is a "faux" in is in the hallways otherwise if you are in the lobby or in your room you feel the character it is meant to give you.
We loved our room and could not have been more pleased. The price was very fair compared to other inns in the area. The location was perfect for walking to all of the historic downtown areas Charleston has to offer. Parking is right behind the building. The room service of morning breakfast was such a great added element and worth having.
We loved it and would recommend Fulton Lane Inn to anyone wanting to experience Charleston in a historic way.response / report this review -

Room was nice and clean. Older building and furniture but didn't feel or smell old. Great staff. Breakfast in bed every morning was great. Would stay again.

Great Great few days there. The location is great, the fare was reasonable for the area and the room was charming. The bathroom had been redone and everything was super clean. The complementary breakfast was great call him tonight before you pick everything you want for the next day with the quantities and they bring it to you at no charge. It was delightful to start the day like this. And at night you can walk next-door for a complimentary wine taste around the charming fountain. Will definitely come back.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Not all have canopies. Friendly staff, free alcohol in evenings, complimentary bottled water in lobby. Nice continental breakfast delivered to your room. Close to everything, good parking.

My fiancé and I visited the Fulton Lane Inn for his birthday getaway, and it was everything we wanted and more in a hotel room. We had a petite suite on the second floor overlooking King Street, with beautiful, high ceilings and comfortable furniture. This room came equipped with a large jacuzzi which was clean and easy to use, as well, which was a great luxury to have. On top of a beautiful room central to the downtown area, the Fulton Lane Inn offered small breakfast options to have delivered to the room, each morning, and this was carried out smoothly and professionally--they even call ahead of time to give a couple-minute warning on the delivery. In general, the staff was kind and so accommodating, and worked like a well-oiled machine. I would stay here again and again for the beautiful charm and excellent customer service.

We enjoyed everything about Fulton Lane Inn. The room was very nice, clean, and spacious and very friendly staff. They had free happy hour and breakfast. Breakfast wasnt anything special though. Great location near shopping and restaurants on market and King st. All for a great price compared to other near by places.

The most charming and wonderful Inn in Charleston!! The room was spectacular--that perfect mix of modern and beautiful bathroom with the historic feeling canopy over the most comfortable bed!! The wine and cheese hour was so much fun, and the staff and service are amazing!! Carolyn, the manager, Miss Susu and Alexis, the concierges, were all so kind, wonderful and helpful during our stay!! And the location cannot be beat, right downtown and a walk to the best food, shopping and attractions the city has to offer!! A must stay if you're visiting Charleston!!

Quaint little hotel. Right smack in the middle of the old town feel. Best part is the breakfast! You pick what you want the night before and they deliver it to you.

My wife and 2 children are staying here now. It is extremely clean and comfortable. The staff is gracious and courteous. They have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. There is a courtyard which is quite and secluded from the downtown hassle. I feel extremely relaxed here.

Great customer service! It really helps when your front desk goes out of the way to make sure things are good. In room breakfast was sort of lackluster though. Also depending on what room you get, it can Very dark inside. Overall a good stay in the downtown area.

Such a cute little place right in the middle of everything. It's tucked away in a fancy, dressed up alleyway; almost missed it on the drive in. The inside is very traditional Charleston. Only stayed one night, but I would definitely come back. The only downside was I could hear music from the room I was staying in until about 12am.

A charming hotel with a hospitable staff. Our bed was large and comfortable with a nice view of King Street. The free breakfast delivered to our room was good (and we appreciated the non-dairy milk option). The location is great and close to a lot of great attractions. The place is a bit old and worn, but it is clean and comfortable.
