Solid place with good amenities just far enough from main street crowd. Helpful employees seemed genuinely interested in my stay. Bar and food service adequate and pool at edge of beach was well maintained.

Great view we went off season for a good price front desk was very cheerful and pleasent. We got a room up grade and 2 free drinks at the bar. Bartender was also pleasant

This hotel has EV plug!!! Just call ahead and let them know that you will be using it to make sure they will have that parking spot opened for you Hotel itself is OK, clean and neat for the price and facility age..People at the front desk deserve special word!!! Great hospitality, guys!!!

Check-in was fast and easy. Staff watched over my luggage while I parked and brought smaller items into the room. Upon entering my room I noticed the toilet running, so when I went back for the rest of my luggage I mentioned it to the front desk. As I was arriving back to my room maintenance was right behind me to fix the problem! However, I also found when taking a shower that the drain was clogged and very slow to empty. The a/c unit in the room was quite loud, but otherwise everything was great. I enjoyed my stay, which included dinner in the H2O Bar & Grill. Heather was my server and despite being very busy was very pleasant and polite and I even watched her inspect the glass for my complementary wine to make sure it was clean, which I had not seen a server do before. Kodo's for going that extra bit!

Most of the rooms in this hotel are oceanfront which is nice. I have stayed here a couple of times and I can say for sure that the employees at the front desk are incredibly nice. The rooms are decent and clean. One thing I do have to say about the rooms is that the bathrooms aren't 100% clean. If you look closely around the sink faucet and crevices of the shower you'll see old water stains and dark looking grime.
The elevators get extremely hot so it'd be nice if they would add air conditioning in them. The outside of the hotel is pretty old, renovating the outside would really add curb appeal. Also, some of the games in the arcade do not work or they take your money.
One last thing is that the outdoor shower for rinsing off after being in the ocean should also require a key to access it. During my last stay I saw many people that weren't staying at the hotel using it. At one point an entire family of 8 went up at once. They caused a long line of actual guests to wait around on them to finish. After a good 5 minutes they all walked off, got in their cars, and left.response / report this review -

Great view, loved my room but it had numerous problems with it. It was right on the beach and had an amazing view. Hotel restaurant had A+ drinks. The staff was extra nice & respectful. The staff was great. Rooms double on the weekends, so beware. The pool and kids spas pad were cozy. There is a life size chess & checkers games.
(Problems: sink wouldn't drain, locking latch wasn't secure, numerous dead bugs but guess that's better than live ones, beds were very hard) Overall I would recommend this hotel our stay was pleasant.response / report this review -

The staff was very welcoming and the resort was great. Has enough to offer, music, bar, restaurant, pools and a very convenient play area for toddlers. I really appreciated the complementary drinks. The room was clean and updated. Thank you !

I was here in January. The hotel has undergone a recent renovation. They didn't go high end but it's quite clean and comfortable. I didn't mind walking barefoot in my room. 😁. The pool area is much nicer than most in the area. I'll check out the brand new restaurant later today. I'll be back.

Stayed here to celebrate my birthday. Very family oriented! Love Marcia, Beth, Jennifer, specially Alana and the other staff we have encountered. Have been coming to Daytona going on 25 years but I will never go back to the other hotel. This place has won us over!!!

The rooms are very nice and clean. The pool and bar area is great for relaxing. Only complaint is the high prices at the restaurant. Great stay we will come back again. 5 stars

Went to dinner at the restaurant here. Sat outside and the weather was beautiful. A nice, very talented, older gentleman was playing guitar and was very interactive. Food was good and server was friendly. Awesome spot to spend time during dusk.
