Pro's : clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice pool, curtious staff. Cons: heat didn't work in rooms, non stocked breakfast: mostly cold cereal, tight parking, lower level beach access closed off. Overall moderately satisfied but could use improvements. Will look elsewhere in future vacations.

Very nice! The rooms were nice. We had two queen beds with a nice sitting area to watch the ocean. Spacious & clean. Breakfast was very good and they served Biscuits, bacon, ham, eggs, omelets, cereal, yogurt, apples, juice, coffee, pancakes, & such as. Was satisfied with the stay other than the slow Wi-Fi.

Nice place! Comfortable bed. Awesome view oceanfront balcony. Good, free breakfast. Only thing missing was a bar for late night cocktail. Lol.
Update: I requested my sheets be changed (I'm not sure they had been when I checked in). I ran into the housekeeper coming out of my room. She emptied trash, made the bed with current sheets, put the "change sheet" card on the table & left. No more shampoos, cups, soap.when I reported it. She said she hadn't done my room yet.??! Wow. Lazy & a liar, as well as just nasty! They gave me 5000 bonus points, seeing as how we are gold elite members. Smh.
( as for how to tell if your sheets are clean: pull the blankets back. Does the sheet hold the pattern of the mattress? Not clean if it does. When you ask for a change, put a small ink dot on the tag of the sheet. If the dot is still there, as mine was, it's the same dirty sheet!) ;) hope this helps some of you fellow travelers.response / report this review -

Incredible views from all rooms as well as from the lobby. Access to beach or sit At the nice pool overlooking beach.

The staff charged me five times for the same room, refused to honor their cheaper online rate, wouldn't allow my husband to check in first without my driver's license, credit card, and a written form which took an act of God to get, no parking spots so I had to parallel park against the sea wall, not mentioning that parking is an extra fee, one car only or you have to pay to park at a nearby church and then move for 7am services, unable to shower cause the water was dark green and smelled like sewer so sleeping was out of the equation, then staff not able to allow us to switch rooms due to no other rooms available and card keys never worked. All this and the manager, Tina just says sorry not even willing to make it better. Never again!!!!

Very nice, clean. Best night's sleep ever. Bed was so comfy, breakfast offered many choices and was delicious. Would recommend to anyone coming to Daytona. Nice view right on ocean with balcony.

Amazing hotel for the price. Hotel was in great shape and the room was clean and comfortable. Another great perk was all rooms are ocean view with a balcony. Pool is shaded in the mid afternoon and beach access. Breakfast was good as well with omlets and other better breakfast fair. Would recommend highly to anyone looking for a great place on the beach.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Daytona Beach, FL last weekend for a Family Reunion. I was so impressed by the great hospitality & I really wanted elaborate on the food. This Holiday Inn Express has the best breakfast ever! Most Hotels serve only toast, bagels, cereal, juice, coffee & tea . However, for the amount we had to pay for our lovely beachftont rooms, it was well worth the full daily breakfast including: pancakes, turkey & pork sausages, eggs, cereal, fresh biscuits & cinnamon rolls, hot coffee & tea, & a variety of fruit juices. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends. Keep up the Great work.

Clean and you can't get any closer to the water than this. The waves are awesome, so make sure to bring your boogie boards. My family and I came to stay for two nights. We had a race here in Daytona and chose this for our hotel stay. The staff has been friendly and kind. As an employee that was leaving for the day and was in the elevator with us , she struck up a conversation with us and before exiting wished us a lovely stay. Just a good positive attitude and friendly staff makes a huge impact on our couple of days here.

Had a wonderful time here! Our kids enjoyed every moment. Gina (Breakfast Crew) did a fabulous job. Recently renovated & beds are comfy! Great place to stay so close to ocean! Oceanfront balconies! (kept door open all night!) to fall asleep & wake up to the sound of the ocean waves priceless!

This is really a wonderful hotel that deserves 7 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Me & my family had spent 2 lovely nights in one of the cleanest hotel suite rooms.
Tena, the front desk manager was taking care of every single item, she was doing a very hard work to make everything done just like what the book says, she was so friendly, helpful, talkative, respectful and humble.
Actually, all the front desk people like Kay & Javahal was %100 awesome 👍🏽, we loved all of them because of their hospitality & their wonderful service.
Also, the old lady "Liza" !!! She was bringing a lot of beach toys to my kids, she was taking care of them very much and she was making them happy all the time.
We are full appreciated for all of you guys 🤙, you're deserving %100 in the hotel inspection.
Thanks a lot & we gonna miss you
