This place is so awful. The only thing that saves them from a zero is the fact that I can't leave a review. The staff are incredibly nice, I felt so bad for them. People were complaining and yelling at them when I was checking in. I was put here by my employer, so I had to stay. The beds dipped, the bathroom was missing light bulbs, (which couldn't replaced), I don't understand that. The shower leaked, (not a drip, but actually running water). Maintenance couldn't fixed it because they had to order a part. Supposedly didn't have any other rooms. WORST STAY EVER. WiFi didn't work, cable had problem in some rooms. I should be thankful mine worked. I wish I could attach pictures.
This place used to be good. It has gone downhill over the last 3 or 4 years. Old faded dirty towels. The staff is only semi friendly. The restaurant downstairs is the bright spot of the hotel. I have been staying here for over 8 years about 3 times a year I don't think I will be staying here again.
Our stayed here for 1 week in November. The staff are very friendly, helpful and eager to make our stay perfect. The free hotel shuttle to/from Disneyland very nice. Drivers David and Mike are very friendly and had good advice for first time Disney visitors. The hotel pool, hot tub and patio is well maintained and we were almost the only ones using it for the entire week. The free Wifi came was handy.
Cozy run of the mill hotel. Rooms definitely could benefit from some upgrades. The rugs are a bit raggedy and the tubs have seen better days. Otherwise, nice little pit stop if you're on a business trip around the area
Room was not available when we arrived but the wait wasn't excessive. Rooms were clean and comfortable albeit a little dated. Staff if friendly and if in need of shuttle services the earlier you let them know the better.
What you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Room was clean, bed was made, towels were fresh. Front desk service was exceptionally good.
Room feels and looks old. No fridge, microwave. Pool closes early. No breakfast 😞 would never return. They made it sound beautiful online. Well it's not.
We stay here whenever we are in the area, and we really like it. They have a resturaunt on site, and the food is fairly priced, but the beer is pretty pricey. They do offer room service. The rooms are good, and the beds are comfortable. They also have an amazing shuttle that will take you almost anywhere. I would have given it a 5, but they do charge you extra if you want breakfast.
Overcharged, have contacted holiday inn multiple times, no help. Many other issues (see below).
I had stayed at this hotel for a college graduation over memorial day weekend. Because I was staying due to a college event I was told by holiday inn that their is a college discount available and it would be applied upon check out. Upon checking out I reminded the front desk to apply it, they said we will make sure to apply. They didn't apply it and the lady checking me out said because the order was now closed out of their system, they couldn't refund the difference for the discount. I asked to speak to the supervisor who said the same thing. I filed a customer service case online with holiday inn, and it goes directly to the hotel you stayed at and they are supposed to reply within 48 hours. Never heard anything back from them. Called the hotel to see if we could get this resolved, and once again because the order is closed it is too late to refund the discount.
Other problems:
- WATER LEAKING FROM CEILING in the bathrooms and their was an obvious water mark where this has been happening a while
- SHOWER was 99% CLOGGED, so your standing in dirty soapy water. Took about an hour to fully drain
- TOILET RAN WATER (REFILLED) ALL NIGHT. Easy fix to this, just turned off water to the toilet but i didn't discover this until the middle of the night, awakening me.
- bed was extremely stiff, but this is more of a personal preference
- breakfast and the coffee was absolutely and they have a poor selection of menu items, once again a personal preference but our friends who were staying there agreed.
The only positive thing is the guy working in the evenings when we checked in was nice. We switched rooms after the first night due to the water issues listed above and he gave us 2 drink vouchers to the bar. The next room we switched too still had all of the issues listed above other than the stiff bed.
New restaurant 12 Sixty was good and not too expensive. Rolled quesadilla was delicious. We'll go there again when we're in the area.
I had the pleasure of staying here. The Staff was extremely friendly and prompt. When I needed something, they came to my room immediately and followed through. During a City power outage, they were patient and did what ever they could to accommodate us. The gift shop at the hotel is full of many Disney products. It was fun exploring the shop. The restaurant at the hotel had the best menu. I had the Sliders-very yummy. The rooms are clean and well stocked. I will stay there again for sure!
Holiday Inn La Mirada has wonderful service, everyone has been very nice and attentive since we walked in. The lobby is nice and clean. Our room was on the second floor at the end of the hallway. The room is really big and clean with a simple but elegant decor. The bed is crazy comfortable cozy and big. They have a heated swimming pool and a spa. Highly recommended it. I wish my stay was longer.
Facilities are fine but somewhat far from Disneyland or the Anaheim Convention center. They compensate with their own shuttle bus that thakes you and come back for you to from these places or other nearby attractions. They also have a full blown restaurant as opposed to other Holiday Inns with just a continental breakfast area. This restaurant has extended service hours.
