This place is nice and clean. The breakfast was simple but good and the staff was really nice. It's not that much and they didn't try to nickel and dime me. Plus theirs a 7-11 near by and plenty of fast food options. I use this place for when I go to the psx but I'd use it for Disneyland too. I guess it's my go to if I'm in the area.
Eh. Room has wood floors. Room hasn't been cleaned in weeks. (The clock hasn't been changed for daylight savings time.) There is a gap in the door so dust comes in. Our family's feet were immediately dirty. Breakfast was eh. Normal hotel breakfast, but they made you order, and brought it to your table. Same quality. It was also cold. The beds are on wheels, and so they move. The air-conditioner makes a very loud noise and woke up my kids at night every 20 minutes. The hot tub was warm, but not hot. Nothing besides the floor the first day was gross, but the rest was just "eh."
Nice hotel. Rooms are well decorated and clean. Staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is great. The pool and hot tub are excellent. Will stay here again.
Clean, quiet, and interesting layout. May be a bit confusing at first but after the first night it will make sense. The breakfast seems one step above Hampton Inn and the rooms a spacious considering the price, (sofa, bed, fridge, microwave, TV) not bad. The basics are covered. I would stay here again. Not very far from various grocery stores, restaurants etc. Doesn't seem to have too much traffic in this area. The parking is decent.
Like this hotel a lot. Comfortable clean rooms, beds. Good wifi. Relatively large swimming pool that I have not tried but seen many use. Good free breakfast. Fitness room/equipment could benefit from updating and having everything in good repair.
This is a great hotel for the money, more on the budget side of the accommodations but the rooms are very comfortable and breakfast is fantastic. I would consider this to be a four star hotel but it's lacking some of the upscale qualities that one would find in a four star hotel. More of a family hotel instead of a weekend for two getaway hotel or relaxation hotel.
Prompt service when there was an temporary issue in the room. Room was spotless. Breakfast was a 4 option choice with eggs, ham, hash browns etc. Not the best Best Western breakfast I've had, but it was sufficient that I could skip going to breakfast somewhere else. Washer and dryer on site. Internet was able to take care of my media needs but my room was directly above the office? The pool area is also closed off in the hotel compound
Very good hotel! I love the Best Western brand, it suits both business and family travel. They take good care of customers. This location fits perfectly in the brand. The breakfasts are excellent, comfortable bedding, very clean, and wonderful employees who were so nice.
I've been here a few times now and will stay here again next time I'm back for business.
Hotel was very clean and impressive. Staff are helpful all the time.
Maintained the room everyday very well and responded on time for any help needed. Breakfast was yummy with plenty of items. Would recommend for family visits.
When we booked the room online there was no info on the construction or remodeling being done. Even when we checked in we weren't told about it, no signs or anything. We found out by being woken up in the morning. We also told them we would be paying cash for the room but still got charged to my card and made it seem like it was a normal thing. So not only did I pay cash but the room charge was put on hold on my card so I didn't have access to my money days after the long holiday weekend. Then to feel like we're being walked out after check out time. Never will stay there again.
Unbelievable hotel appearance, I thought we were in Hawaii. The hotel and grounds were so beautiful, and the room was the nicest I've ever seen. Staff couldn't have been more friendly. All around great experience, and we will be back.
We selected this Best Western because a good friend always stays here when visiting Orange County and I knew it must be a step above others. During our stay the rooms were being updated but there was never any disruption during our stay with unnecessary noise or clutter. Our room was nice and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was wonderful with a wide variety of choices and all freshly prepared and delivered to our table. BUT be sure not to misplace your meal ticket. They charge from a replacement. Not happy about that after reserving 4 rooms for 6 nights for a family get together during spring break.
The hotel is a great facility (clean, quiet, upscale). Quite beautiful, in fact. The check-in service was great. Room and bathroom were neat and clean; mattress was adequate. Everything a weary traveler would want. But it went downhill from there.
The departure service was, at best, careless. The check-out clerk was outside and more interested in his cigarette and conversation with a buddy than with me when I arrived in the lobby at 5:40 a.m. When he finally decided to stop smoking and get behind the desk, I told him I had not received my requested wake-up call. He ignored me never ever even answered me. When I repeated my statement and asked him why I never got a morning call, he shrugged it off, saying it must have been a glitch in the automated system. No apology. No concern.
In my discussions prior to registration, I shared my flight departure information with the hotel folks who essentially guaranteed they would get me to the airport on time but they did not. As a result, I had to pay a $75.00 change fee.
A little truth in advertising would have been a good idea. Had they told me that relying on their shuttle early in the morning was risky, I could have scheduled an UBER or stayed somewhere else. But apparently in this situation, revenue goals trumped customer service.
A subsequent phone discussion with the manager proved him to be more rude and less concerned than his check-out clerk. According to what he told me on the phone, including quoting from a bogus time report submitted by the driver of the shuttle that 'proved' I was wrong, everything that happened was my fault.
Too bad, it is a beautiful hotel. And for the record, I am a Diamond member of the Best Western Rewards program and a frequent and experienced traveler. I have never written such a negative review ever. But it wasn't so much that I missed the flight due to their bad advice, it was that no one seemed to care or take responsibility for the situation created as a result of their faulty advice to me.
I would have loved to go back there. The view of the pool at night and the California weather would have been enough to get me to return. A shame.
