Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Rooms were clean and very well maintained with brand new beds that were incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was always hot and well stocked. Very convenient location!

I'm editing this review because I feel like they deserve more praise. I always love getting to stay here for my Epic classes, mainly because I've never experienced better customer service than what they provide here. The shuttle service here is wonderful, and the customer service is unbeatable. The front desk staff are always extremely accommodating and friendly and really go the extra mile to make your stay wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to stay in the Verona area, it's truly the best.

As a former hotel manager, I tend to scrutinize hotels a little more than the average traveler. I can honestly say that this is one of the cleanest, well-kept limited service hotels that I have ever stayed at and with some of the friendliest staff. The shuttle driver was kind and courteous at the airport pickup, the front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly at check-in and housekeeping did a fantastic job throughout the week. I will be returning to this hotel again in a few weeks and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Verona, WI area.

Great rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Whenever I'm in Verona this is where I stay.
Update: The shuttle to the airport was there worst experience. The driver did not stop for stop signs or red lights. He crossed the solid white line to change lanes for no reason. He straddled the dashed line lane dividers. All of that, however, was eclipsed by the one time he stopped for a red light and upon seeing the rails coming down decided to try to beat the train. After the rails hit the shuttle we were stuck between the rails and the train.response / report this review -

This hotel deserves a statue, not just glowing reviews. As many other reviewers have concurred, this hotel is a rare gem. The staff and management should really be commended for providing such a lovely place to stay. I only got to spend a single night here, but I wish I could have moved-in with how amazing the stay was. Every employee that I had the pleasure of interacting with was genuinely warm, friendly and helpful. The rooms and common areas were pristine, and even the hotel breakfast was delicious. It's easy to see that the hotel staff and management take great pride in their work, as the results show. I hope everyone involved with the inner workings of this hotel feels proud of their efforts to provide an enjoyable place to stay.

The staff was super impressive and so kind and friendly. The hotel was clean and kept around the clock. The breakfast was top level and again the staff were so amazing. Loved loved my stay at the hotel. The shuttle drivers and shuttle schedules have been the best I've ever seen. Thank you

Very nice friendly staff! They gave me and my group suggestions for dinner which were good suggestions! Loved the beds! Wish I could have fit the bed in my suitcase! Slept very well on the bed!! Free cookies when we got back to the hotel from class at Epic. Would stay here again!

Clean updated rooms. Very comfortable bed, the pillows are great. Staff has been very nice and helpful. Hot continental breakfast was surprisingly good.

We were passing through Verona on a road trip when a tornado warning happenedwe pulled off and stopped at this Holiday Inn Express and Suites. The receptionist immediately welcomed us into the lobby. Provided juice, fruit and chocolate for our kids and coffee for us. While waiting in the lobby we witnessed their excellent customer service with other people as well. Although we were able to leave once the storm passed and did not stay the night, I would definitely give this hotel a 5+ star rating for hospitality and kindness. Thanks for making a crazy night much easier and more comfortable for our family!

The staff is always pleasant. The room was 98% clean, bed a little to soft for my taste. Breakfast is pretty good. Free shuttle to and from Epic. Complimentary newspaper each morning and toiletries upon request. Bathroom is on the smaller side but still large enough. Flat screen TV and cable. Only complaint is the Wi-Fi. Its spotty and the connection is on and out.

I had to come to Verona Wisconsin for Epic Training and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. I have to say that my visit to this hotel was amazing!!! The staff was great and very professional. The ladies that prepared the breakfast in the morning for us was awesome. The food was so delicious and served hot everyday. I do have to say that the coffee they prepared was sooo good as if it has some secret ingredient. Also a big thank you to all the wonderful drivers who drove us around to Epic and to dinner at night in that cold weather. Thank you! With that being said i just want to give a big SHOT OUT to the wonderful staff at the Holiday Inn Express Suites in Verona Wisconsin

This is my 3rd stay here over the past year while traveling for work related training. I always enjoy my stay here. It's convenient and close to the facility. The rooms are clean and quiet. The service here is excellent and the shuttle service is fantastic. The hotel provides free shuttle service to and from the airport, to and from the training facility, even to and from downtown Madison in the evenings. Whenever I am out here this is where I prefer to stay.
