Wonderful hotel, excellent staff and location was great for Hawkeye football game. The Hawkeye express is just across the street.

I was only here to pick up two people from their overnight stay, however the front desk was very helpful in looking up the room and calling the people I was there to pick up. The lobby was clean and inviting. The people I picked up said that they enjoyed their stay and didn't have any issues or complaints.

I walked in the door and the first thing I smelt was fresh linens, the staff was kind and helpful, and it was one of my best hotel experiences ever. It was so good I went out of my way to write this review.

This a.m. - I rushed in Coralville Holiday Inn with a minor (very minor) emergency- I really think most hotels would have just chortled and hinted for me to leave. But both clerk I approached and managing clerk were so kind and helpful - it was one of those "restore your faith in people" experiences- much like the experiences I and somewhat disabled relative had when he stayed at Holiday Inn Express last year. Having worked in this area, years back, I'm suspicious of syrupy fronts when people are being chewed up. That wasn't at all the case here, ever. Near elderly, I can tell you genuinely nice people save a lot of time, money and personal wear-n-tear. I'd strongly recommend Holiday Inn Express, Coralville.
