Very modern and clean hotel in the Iowa River Landing. Comfortable beds in elegant rooms. The Front Desk staff is always smiling and helpful.

Was here before and had a great experience. This last time I didn't feel like I had hot water for my shower. It wasn't cold, but felt like I could get it warmer during my previous visit. I don't know if it has to do with which side of the hotel you stay on our if occupancy had something to do with it. 24 hour fitness room is clean, nice, not big, but haven't seen it packed

Had a great time! Wish the coffee in the room wasn't strong enough to walk to you. Need more creamer in the room. A few areas could have used a little cleaning, but overall it was a nice stay. Great customer service. I wish I would have gotten the name of the lady that was cleaning rooms on my floor, she was very hospitable!

This is a bargain for a hotel of this quality. Check-in was fast and trouble free, the room was clean and attractive, and services are fully available. The bar and restaurant are excellent. The bathroom is stocked with a nice assortment of fragrant aromatherapy soaps, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Towels are plentiful and large. Air temperature was nice and the thermostat does work. The hotel is in the vicinity, walking distance, of several very good places to eat, such as Vesta, which has an awesome Mediterranean Moscow mule, something I have never seen elsewhere, thanks to the rarety of fig vodka. Also two microbreweries near, with good local beer and good food.

Clean, new, elegant hotel. Staff was very friendly and allowed me to check out late as I was attending an all-day meeting, which was very appreciated. Bedroom/bathroom were comfortable. Breakfast was not included, and I didn't have time to try lobby restaurant. Parking garage next door was well-maintained but not directly connected to hotel, so you have to walk outside to go between the two. Located in a nice area with plenty of locations to walk to

The Marriott staff was very helpful. I ate buffet breakfast and lunch provided by the hotel, I enjoyed it. I liked that they brought coffee into the work session for us. The A/V staff was helpful with the projector for our slide presentation. The facility overall could use a few updates, wall paper near the floor was peeling and scratched, but the restrooms and food areas were very clean and tidy.

The hotel has a check-in time of 4PM, however, we called in beforehand to arrange an earlier check-in. Parking is covered, but not free. The surrounding area is under rapid development, including a brewery and a number of restaurants. The room has clean and well furnished. The bed was comfortable. The views were good, as we overlooked a scenic area. Definitely the place to stay near Iowa City.

The hotel is fairly nice. I came for a work conference and the staff has been lovely, as has the food. I haven't noticed much noise from the hallway. The beds and the pillows are comfy. I'd stay here again.

We went for a professional event, in which we were provided tickets to the local Hawkeye football game. We were told the hotel would provide a shuttle to and from the game. They did, but they only had 1 shuttle that carries 11 passengers trying to go back and forth through game day traffic. We waited over an hour, just to not fit on the shuttle due to capacity, so we walked the 2.5 miles back to the hotel. You would think they would have more shuttles, or larger shuttles, or even would have picked a better pick up point rather than it the worst traffic location. The rest of the time at the Marriott was good, but this part was very frustrating and disappointing. Don't stay here if you are thinking you will get a shuttle to and from the game.

Nice hotel, but not the most economical if you're looking for that. Parking is $8.00 a day in the parking garage, which is a little bit of a walk from the hotel (not quite connected). Breakfast was not included. The restaurant has a wide range of food and the bar has a nice selection of beers on tap and in bottles. In a nice new area with shops, bars, and other restaurants. Nice area at the back of the hotel to take a stroll along the water.

Here in town for the anime convention, the rooms here are very nice and clean. The beds are extremely comfy. Add in the library, pool, hot tub, pond it's a great place.

The to was great. But if anyone from the Coralville Marriott is actually reading thisyou have to do something about the blinking lights on the smoke detectors. In a pitch black room, they are BRIGHT. We couldn't fall asleep. Finally I decided to cover the lights up with bandaids just so we could sleep. It honestly was ridiculous how often they blinked and how bright they were. Other than that, they room was everything you'd expect from a Marriott hotel. Very nice. But do something about those smoke detectors..

Visited the hotel for my my wife's company Christmas party. We occupied several of the conference centers rooms. The rooms looked great. The hallways leading to the rooms were clean and well lit. Thru out dinner, the staff was courteous and attentive. The food for dinner was also great. The appetizers before dinner were limited but that may have been the choice of the company and not a limited selection from the hotel. Overall a great experience. This is the second year that the company has used this location. Both times were excellent.

Nicely appointed rooms- I loved the pillows! They also have a convenient bar/ restaurant/ coffee shop on site. Location is great, right of the interstate and easy to get anywhere in Iowa City/ Coralville.

This hotel was among one of the most well kept Mariotts I have ever stayed at. All of the staff was very polite and attentive. One woman in the concierge lounge, Nancy, was particularly friendly and was also a great resource for recommending local places to get my nails done and to eat. Nancy described Iowa City/ Coralville as a little gem, and though Iowa might not be my choice destination I would have to agree. The town is safe, well kept, and has all of the amenities you could need. If you are ever in the area I would highly recommend a stay here. Also the lake on the back of the hotel is lovely in the fall, great place for an early morning coffee!

All around our experience was terrible. We blocked off rooms for our wedding, we got the confirmation (after 2 weeks of trying to get a confirmation) only to find out that our guests were trying to call to book rooms and being told there was nothing under our name. We were not told our block would close two weeks before our wedding, so guests trying to call the week before we're being told the rate was $220 (our block was at a rate of $109). When we got to our room Saturday night our door was cracked open. The morning we were checking out (we only stayed one night) we gave a different card to be billed and the hotel billed BOTH of our cards and charged us for two nights. We received three separate bills from this hotel, all with different totals, and the most recent, charged us twice for parking and twice for sales tax (again, we were only there one night). We've been waiting now all day for a call back and have heard nothing. Our guests also complained about how noisy the hotel was. All around a terrible experience.

I was only at this hotel for a short time (checked-in at 10:00 pm and left at 7:30 am the following day); however, this is a gorgeous hotel. I had an unexpected bonus of a beautiful view when I opened my curtains. Most hotels in Iowa have a view of the parking lot, but woke up to a lake and beautiful landscape. Plus there is a sort of pedestrian walkway with restaurants and shops within walking distance. Gave this suburban location a big city feel.

With that said, I found the beds a little too firm for my taste. My room was close to the elevators, which I could hear going up and down all night and kept me up. Also, their was a slight light flashing all night (I'm assuming it is a code requirement for fire or security) and a light on the clock that made it hard for me to sleep. But, would definitely stay here again if need a hotel in the Iowa City/Corallville area.
