It was really clean. And they gave me early check in on the 5th floor. I enjoyed the stay. There was no real road noise

Horrible Horrible Horrible..I was visit g family and stayed at this hotel. When I arrived to my room it smelled of smoke, and because of this I was moved to another room. During the move I left an brand new American Eagle bomber jacket in the room.I hadn’t realized it until a couple of days later and when I did retrace my steps I talked to the front desk I was told that if it was left in room that it would be turned in and put in lost and found. They checked but no jacket.okay now I’m trying to be polite, so I was told that they would contact the housekeeping manager or whatever she is to see if it could have been placed somewhere else and they would contact me. No one DID! Then I kindly returned to the front desk to ask yet again about jacket, this ignorant front desk rep, tells me that the housekeeper on that night would not have taken it she’s been here whatever amount of years, and the she is a foreginoshe doesn’t know what designer is blah blah blah! I’m thinking to myself it’s very possible to take something if you really want it and not get caught. He then proceeds to tell me he would have is manager contact me about the matter, that was a laugh. So I’ve been asking about maybe now my fourth time, now I’m PISSED, be this new front desk chick questions me like I’m the damn theif, finally spoke with the so called unprofessional manager and she told me that she couldn’t do anything to help me, except contact the police and report it and that they insurance would possibly replace my jacket. I’m mean all the way around they were unsympathetic towards me, the never followed through and I felt like a damn thief about something that I mistakenly forgot in a room. I couldn’t believe how unprofessional they were. My mom works for the hotel in Philadelphia and she was appalled by the way the manager handle things. This was the worst experience that I have experienced since aiming to visit my family these last couple of years! Horrible Horrible Horrible! Oh and by the way I’m back in Philadelphia and the manager has not reached out to me at all about the jackets. But it’s all good whenever has it will reap what they sow!

Good experience overall. I stayed here while visiting the Conagree National Park, and it's a good location for that and for seeing Columbia.

The Pros: Rooms are spacious, clean, have good furniture and plenty of outlets. The beds are comfortable; the bathroom is large and clean; and there's even overhead lighting! Front desk staff was friendly and helpful too. Lots of restaurants nearby, so food options are good.

The Cons: The walls are thin, so it's easy to hear your neighbors, especially if they're rambunctious kids. The Internet is pretty slow too.

So overall, great stay and a good hotel.

I stay in a lot of Holiday Inns and this one is by far the worst. On top of a very poorly cleaned hotel-room room and furniture that was falling apart I also got to deal with an exceptionally rude staff at the front desk. I was so disappointed that I checked out after one night and ended up staying at a different hotel which was nicer and cheaper for the rest of my time there.

We traveled to Columbia for a baseball tournament this weekend.we decided to head down the night before so he could get a good night sleep before playing so Before leaving home I booked a room at this hotel. The room I booked and got the confirmation for was with two queen beds, one for myself and one for my 15 year old son. We arrived at 8:30pm and after checking in we headed up to the room. Only to find out that the room had a King size bed and a pull out sofa. OH!. and a DIRTY rag on the night stand. So, we go back down with our bags and I explained to the very nice lady that I was given the wrong room, that I booked a room with queen beds and had the confirmation for it. I also told her about the dirty rag! Well, she states that they double booked the room I was given confirmation for and they "upgraded" me to the King sized room with the sofa bed (which had a extremely thin mattress)!
So she also moved me to a different room without a dirty rag. Well, I'm not happy still about this! Instead of my son having a good night sleep in a comfy bed he slept on the pull out sofa, which should not have happened! I was not even told this had happened, not by email or even when I checked in! Extremely disappointed!!!!

Clean hotel. Good customer service. TV very small for the large room. We paid ahead of time, not sure why we got a room on the 5th, top floor. Pool is small, only 3-5ft. Small fitness room no sauna. No good for long term stay.
