Did not price gouge during hurricane evacuation. Pool was clean, met other evacuated Floridians, rooms were clean, staff was caring.

I'm sure being short staffed had something to do with it since it was the Holidays.
However, I would recommend you drive farther and find another location. We have typically had great experiences during our stays with Holiday Inn this was not one of those times.

My husband is a frequent member of the Holday Inn Express and he travels. We actually had a free night and then decided to stay another (my daughetr is in shcool at UTC) so we booked. As I was getting ready in the bathroom a BIGGG ROACH crawled up my leg. I actually wrapped it up in a towel and took in to the front desk. I was going to move to another hotel and the girl at the front desk assured me - we would be comped that night. I received a bill online from my husbands email. I called and NO ONE KNEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. So mad. I saw her type it up in our notes for our room. WONT EVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

Checked in to find the bad was not changed and had hair on the sheets. The shower was dirty and there was hair in the tub. The ceiling is severely damaged from a prior water leak. The ceiling is discolored brown and their are pieces missing. The rug is filthy. The ice machine on the third floor is out of order and has been for some time. When we complained about the dirty bed the night manager said he would pick off the hair and spray with Lysol! Really! The hotel is dirty and obviously needs management help.
We are here for a softball tournament. There's no option for another hotel
I'll update when we leave.

Great hotel! Staff was very friendly and accommodating and made our stay wonderful! Room was great and bed was comfortable and location was perfect for a leisure trip to Chattanooga!!

Clean room and well stocked. Building is beginning to show it's age a little. Staff was super friendly and courteous. Check in went smooth and quickly. Breakfast was typical HI Express and the was good. Location is convenient to I-75. Parking lot is a little cramped.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chattanooga was very clean and updated. The bathroom was very big and lit very well. The breakfast in the morning was very good and had a wide range of choices from cereal to oatmeal to hot items, such as eggs and pancakes.

The manager at this hotel is top notch. Charles treats this hotel like it is his home. He cares deeply about his guest's stay. David, the night manager is extremely accommodating and never flinched no matter how many times I had a concern. The breakfast is typical Holiday Inn fair. The lady in charge of breakfast was efficient and kind.

Charles greeted us and took care of our needs in a very friendly professional manner. Very positive atmosphere. The appliances and furniture in the rooms are modern and up-to-date. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Chatanooga. You may want to call a few days ahead, we didn't have to, but was only able to stay 3 nights. The rooms fill up fast towards the end of the week.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by David. David was very helpful, friendly and quick.
David insured me, if there is anything thing I needed during my stay; don't hesitate to ask.
I found the rooms to very well clean and maintained. However, my favorite part of my stay was the bed. This Holiday Inn has the most comfortable beds I've ever slept; out of all the Holiday Inns I've stayed at.
I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn to my friends, family and co-workers.

The room was fine. Normal holiday Inn room. Clean. When we arrived the front desk lady wasn't very helpful. There were multiple uhauls parked sideways and there was nowhere to park. It was late at night and when I sent my son in to ask where we park, her response was "Your guess is as good as mine." I was not please and hoping that my car didn't get towed by morning.
