Upon arrival, I was not given my room preference as a Gold Elite Member, but Kevin and Calvin,who were at the front desk,both very friendly and courteous, upgraded me to a King Suite. Room was spacious,very clean and there was a sitting area separate from the sleeping area with its own TV.Very comfortable bed. Also a little bar area with sink, microwave and fridge. Since this Holiday sits along Interstate I 40/75,ask for a room in the back if possible. Nice warm pool with fitness room. Business center. Typical breakfast that most Holiday Inn Express have. Keurig coffee maker in room.

It was a hotel. The refrigerator in my room was so loud it had to be unplugged, the microwave beeped randomly and also had to be unplugged, the television only worked on half the channels half the time. They do have a restaurant but I did not visit it. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and provided me with delivery restaurants in the area. Room was mostly clean, some areas in the bathroom could have been cleaner. They also have a 2 blink car chargers in the parking lot.

Super friendly staff, and super comfy beds, I always enjoy my stays at this hotel. I'm here fairly often and it's def like a second home.

This place may be clean I will give them that but it's over priced and rediculos
We are here for a week the service staff for the restaurant bar seems like they would rather be somewhere else. No food after 10:00pm on a Saturday and now the bar just gives last call a little after 10:00 absolutely unexceptionable. Glad I paid you over a grand. We and I mean we over 20 different rooms will never be back. Thanks for nothing!!! FYI I have never reviewed anything even if it was not to my liking but this is by far the worse mannered Holiday inn ever. Broooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

They suck accused my husband of doing a drug deal when our son drove up to the hotel an he handed him some money for his college classes that were starting, ,,HOW DARE THEY, ,we had to tell our son why when we come everyother week to work here that now he has to drive across town. To see us an get his weekly allowance shame on HOLIDAY INN ,,,terrible people said an employee seen us ,,,ask to see the tape so we could prove it was our son ,,but they said they didn't have one ,,ill never go back

The hotel is close to a lot of things it is nice inside in the staff was friendly did not stay in the rooms but the lobby was pretty there was a good space to meet with people

The service has been wonderful. The gentleman that checked us was very friendly. Suggested a fantastic resturant for dinner. Room is very clean and smells fresh.

Terrible overall experience. The room was smelling, there was a lot of noise, and management did little to improve the stay. The only good thing is Chase and Kevin at the front desk

We were missing the shower curtain when we first got there but they fixed the issue right away! Excellent place to stay! Kevin and Jeff were very nice and very hospitable!

I stopped in to this location this evening after spending the day at East Tennessee Children's Hospital where my son was admitted today. The man at the desk informed me that they did not take cash. I asked if it would make a difference if I called in my reservation, as I am a rewards member. He said no cash. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but my son's admission was unexpected so I had not had a chance to go by the bank to make a deposit (I work in a restaurant three hours away). Every few weeks I visit my son who is in a residential facility near Knoxville, so I frequently stay at the Holiday In Express and Suites in Clinton, TN. I called as I walked out of the Knoxville location and they said cash was no problem, so I drove about 25 minutes there.
While the location of Papermill Rd. was considerably closer to the Children's Hospital, I won't make that mistake again. Cash should be just as good. I'm not a teenager. I'm not here to trash your room. I'm a 40 something year old mom who just wanted a good night's sleep before going back to the hospital with my son tomorrow. I now know I need to stay in Clinton going forward, even if it is 25 minutes out of the way.
