Enjoyed my stay the bartender Simone was the best ever. She Is a must see person to visit whenever I'm in Kansas jus love her.

The rooms were decent, and the concierge were generally helpful. However, we were there for a wedding and had constant issues with breakfast vouchers and other pre-arranged items. For example, they closed the breakfast area an hour early without notice the day of the wedding.

I stayed at this property in November 2017. You cannot beat the location and the price was right. The staff was very friendly and the free underground parking was a bonus. The rooms were clean; however, they are very outdated. Popcorn ceilings, old bathtub and tile. My wife was completely freaked out by this. A major renovation is in order.

I loved this hotel! It is not fancy, but it is very comfortable. What makes this hotel great are the people--every single person we interacted with was friendly, smiling, and obviously enjoyed what they were doing. The hotel staff was very accommodating to our group, helping us get our work done and stay comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I get to return to KC!

IHG is an exceptional hotel brand with consistent quality and service. The Country Club Plaza Holiday Inn follows suit and provides a stellar location, walking distance from the Kansas City Plaza. This along with their attentive staff provides a very comfortable, clean, relaxed environment.

Nice comfortable hotel. Very friendly staff. Choose it because we could walk to museums and hotel is pet friendly. No issues. Parking garage would be good in the winter.

Not a bad place to rest your head. Room wasn't as spacious as others I've visited, but I didn't need the space. Pool looked in good shape. Also had a small workout room.

Good place for the money when staying at the plaza. Room was pretty small, however I know there are several different layouts when it comes to the rooms. All-in-all it was a good stay.

Flew in from Boston, Ma for a conference. While the rooms are quite outdated along with much of hotel, the ENTIRE staff more than made up for it. From the front desk who acknowledged me every time I walked by, to the cleaning staff who were friendly despite me walking on their freshly washed floors, to the restaurant staff. Chloe, Vanessa, and my girl Jenna. These girls were amazing and became a bright part of my morning. They loved hearing about my husband walking to zoo, or to Independence lol. The food was great and honestly have never experienced such friendliness at a hotel which is ironic since its a hospitality business. Thank you to all Holiday Inn staff at the country club plaza

Very average hotel. Staff was friendly and the rooms were well cleaned. The rooms are small (expected in an older hotel) and slightly dated with updated desk. Beds are too firm for my taste, but my wife was okay with them. Other things to consider Breakfast is not included like other hotels. The parking is not great and the underground parking garage is difficult to navigate. Location it's good with respect to the Plaza.

Hotel was great. Small hiccup at check in when we were given rooms that already had guests that had decided to stay another night. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and pillows were labeled "soft" and "firm". Breakfast was great, and our server took great care of us. She even had them make is grits!

We stayed in this hotel over night starting with a good price. It ended up being in an amazing location only minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from the stadiums. The hotel was situated only a brisk 10 minute walk from a shopping, entertainment, and dining area. The staff of the hotel were very people friendly and helped up with our questions. The king suite bed was very comfortable and was fully stocked with outlets to charge ALL of your electronics. The room was very spacious but the bathroom was on the smaller side. Overall the Hotel turned out to be very nice compare to the price we played.

We came here for a little family getaway. The staff were super friendly, and extremely helpful. The shuttle service was a great extra perk for us. When asking a staff member for a food recommendation, he was only to happy to help. And the food place he suggested actually became my favorite place to eat at. The room was a nice size, everything was clean, and to my liking. I don't think the beds are very comfortable at all though, they are super firm.

Nice staff, shuttle service is great! Rooms are average. Bathrooms are very small. The hotel shows some signs of age. The layout of the building is weird--we had to walk seemingly forever through a series of hallways to find our room. Parking is scarce; you have to have luck on your side to find a spot quickly. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.
