Was a meeting point and we only were there in the lobby for an hour or so. Front desk staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The large lobby itself was clean, bright and comfortable. The attached Bar Louie, which is open late, had a small crowd of customers.

I realize the hotel is going through some re-construction pains but looks like they are trying hard to move in the right direction.
My recent experience was while a few of us were waiting on a shuttle to the airport there was a delay. It wasn't all that long but the hotel manager "Clint" stepped up and drove one of the shuttles for us and allowed us to arrive at the airport in time to meet our flights. This was greatly appreciated and shows they are concerned with the experience we had during our stay.
Thank you, Job well done. BB

Stayed here for 2 nights while attending a family wedding in Indiana. It was under renovation at the time, which seems to be my luck anytime I stay at any hotel chain. However, they maintained noise levels at unnoticeable levels and the place was very clean, beds were comfortable and cozy, staff was great. The attached restaurant/ bar had great food and the friendliest staff I have ever seen/met at any establishment. We only ate their complimentary breakfast each morning, but we were treated as royals each time.

This is a good hotel with access to the Blue Line to downtown and O'Hare airport. The rooms and lobby have been recently updated. Each room has a refrigerator and microwave. The attached Bar Louie is lively and popular with guests and locals.

Entire hotel went through a renovation in the first half of 2017 to make the look and feel more contemporary. There is a small fitness center found on the main floor behind the front desk, and an outdoor pool for use during the nice summer months. There is also a Bar Louie restaurant located off the lobby that also has an outdoor seating patio. The bar is a convenient option for travelers staying at the hotel, as well as local neighborhood residentsthe only downside is that service is known by locals to be slow and subpar. Back to the Holiday Inn, it is very close to O'Hare airport, and is also walking distance to the L for easy access to downtown.

Nice hotel. The renovations are needed but even without them, it's still a decent hotel. The room I had was as to be expected given the price range. Good bed, decent bathroom, and an easy booking experience. Was very impressed with the staff. Free parking is a plus. Would definitely recommend for anyone travelling to Chicago and in need of a hotel close to the airport.

Good value. Clean. They are remodeling so NEW BEDS! Free breakfast that u can order off of a menu OR as a buffet most days. Heated pool. Has a Bar Louie downstairs with nightly specials Like Tuesday $5 burgers. So good! Also, they are centrally located to a train, the highway, and not too far from airport. (just far enough not to cost as much as other places.)

If you love Mediterranean food you'll miss out if you don't visit Sultan just up the street. Oh, to die for! Hummus, baklava, everything! Just eat it up!

This hotel has improved considerably since my last visit. The staff while always friendly seems to be even friendlier. The breakfast buffet has improved with a group of servers that are very attentive. I particularly like the sausage links. They also brought a paper coffee cup with lid for takeaway coffee. The buffet is included in the price of the room. The GM was available and observing the operation. Dinner last night in the bar was a burger recommended by the server. I took her suggestion on which burger to take and she has good taste. It was delicious.

This was a great hotel to stay at! They offer a free shuttle to and from Chicago O'Hare airport every 30-ish minutes. Very clean, has a really good restaraunt attached to it as well. The staff was really friendly. I spent 2 nights here and it has been overall great!

Nice hotel with easy access to O'Hare. Hotel is undergoing some renovations but that is not a big deal. Rooms are in decent shape, restaurant is available connected to the hotel. Would recommend.

The hotel is currently undergoing reservations but was still clean and orderly. Parking was easy and access to the interstate was a breeze. For being so close to the interstate, the hotel was very quiet. I had no problem with service during my stay.

The hotel is very close to the airport. It's also near public transportation like the EL blueline and I90. Some friends and I went for dinner and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The lobby of the hotel seemed dated to me. I didn't stay at the hotel so I can't comment on the rooms but I wouldn't have a problem staying there.

The rooms were decent, and fairly priced, but the staff coordinating breakfast were rude and unprofessional. After my friends made their coffee and had a seat to eat breakfast, I approached the coffee station where there was a carafe for regular coffee, and another labelled decaf. When I went to make my regular coffee, and realized it was empty, I told the (I think she was Greek) lady, she took the decaf sign off the "decaf" carafe and said "well this is just regular coffee so here you go" and walked away. Which means one of two things 1) the coffee was in fact decaf and she was too lazy to brew a fresh pot, or 2) the decaf was not decaf. I immediately went to my table, to inform my friend with a heart condition DO NOT drink your "decaf" coffee, it's not actually decaf. Knowing this could have been devastating for someone such as her, she confronted the staff member, and received a half-hearted apology, and we were asked if we wanted to wait for a fresh batch of decaf she stuck to her story and swore it wasn't decaf, when I know in my heart it was and she was just to lazy to make more regular when it ran out. There are some people that do not belong in customer service, let alone the hospitality business. Otherwise, the receptionist and other staff were always friendly.
