Clean. Professional. Jesus Christ is LORD of all!
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Unfortunately this hotel was a disappointment. 2 of 4 elevators were out due to the hurricane this past spring. This caused problems for guests waiting as well as staff. Ice machines were "not working" as well as the rooms freezer ice maker. I believe the real problem was that the water was brown. They had a sign near the bathtub assuring that the brown water was fine to consume and that it was just the way the Fort Lauderdale Water Treatment Facility sends it to them. I have friends in the area and when I was at their house it was fine coming from the same facility so There was a sign on the hallway ice maker telling you that you should dial zero for ice. After getting no response for 2 hours they finally arrived with empty ice buckets. After a total of 3 hours ice finally arrived.
That was just the tip of the iceberg. Some other issues were not getting the room I paid for, a very uncomfortable mattress, a filthy couch, and a really nice kitchen with not so much as a cup or spoon (I mean nothing at all in the cabinets).
I could go on but I'll end on a high note. If you get the right room the views are really nice.
Very impressed! Top notch rooms & staff. Ruth was absolutely phenomenal upon check in. She made sure she took really care of us making us feel like we were her only concern. Elvira in the restaurant for breakfast was excellent! Breakfast ended early & we were upset because we had planned our day accordingly. Elvira stepped right in & said she would get us something from the back immediately while a few others just said breakfast ended early & walked off. Customer Service at its finest.
This is my second time staying at this property and I️ can not say enough about it. From the staff to the room and the food, everything is always amazing. This past time we had the pleasure of meeting Edward Thornton who took care of EVERYTHING. He has completely exceeded any of our customer service expectations. He truly made our stay phenomenal!!!! Will definitely be back soon and will recommend this property to everyone I️ know, thank you again!
What started out as a 3 star turned into a 5. I stayed here from 10/26-10/29. We booked a suite with a kitchen; and didn't realize til after hours that the microwave did not work. An engineer came up, but to no avail. We called the front desk and asked for the manager Victoria to voice our concerns. Victoria was apologetic and with the help of Mohammad upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite with wrap around balcony. Victoria and Mohammad are AN ASSET to this Hilton hotel. They really went above and beyond, which was appreciated. Rooms on the 25th floor are very large and spacious. Updated kitchens and awesome views. Food was great(steak) and LEO in the restaurant was very friendly and made us some 5.0 drinks. Shane was also great arranging our bags while we waited for a new room. Overall, I highly recommend this place. I'll be back!
My cousin has a condominium in this building. I've had lunch there with him on two occasions. Yesterday I was extremely impressed, with what seems odd, at a sign I viewed in the ladies restroom. The sign red are you having a bad date? If so please tell any of our servers or employees that you would like an Angel shot. That is their clue that you are having a hard time getting away from a date or you're having a very bad date and you don't feel safe. I was very impressed at the Hilton would go through such lengths to keep visitors or local clientele comfortable with their visit and protecting women in such an unusual fashion. Kudos to the Hilton. I would love this to be a national sign to all young and older women so they can feel comfortable going on a date and not having to worry about being taken advantage.
This property is beautiful and by itself rates 5 stars. We had a room near the top and the view was stunning. Public spaces were very nice and I would definitely consider returning. That said, there were times that some basics fell through the cracks and promises went unfulfilled. Nuisance factors, not flaws. Food and drinks are somewhat expensive, along with hotel parking. Finally, there is an empty lot on the north side, due for construction of a condo. I'm not sure when construction is due to start, but when it does the noise will be a consideration, and some of that beautiful view is likely to be obscured.
Rooms are dirty. I called the morning after check-in to ask for a thorough cleaning, but every day after housekeeping, the same hair was on the bathroom floor (not mine), makeup debris on the bathroom counter (not mine), almond on the room floor (not mine), hole in the sheets (not from me), and built-up dust around the room (a bit of grime too).
I stayed because I was there for a wedding, but I listened to other wedding party members also complain about the low quality of the hotel.
Staff is friendly and I think if they can improved room clean-up and auditing process, this could be a nice hotel.
Great location. Not all views are directly facing the ocean, but you will have some piece of a view and it's beautiful.
The pool and other amenities are nice and as advertised, well worth the resort fee.
Beautiful rooms. Clean. Friendly hotel staff. Great location. Beautiful views.
Valet though, not attentive or friendly. The young man who brought my girlfriends car around actually held his hand out after (for a tip?) even without a smile or greeting.
Food and drinks were way overpriced which shocked my guests but seemed standard for south Florida on the water in season I suppose.
The pool area is worth it all. It's luxurious.
Enjoyed a weekend vacation right on the beach. The room was very nice and clean. They had an awesome kids program with crafts by the pool and pool toys. They had complimentary beach towels and sunscreen at the pool. They had movie night for the kids. Also there were two hot tubs and had lots of space for chairs around the pool. For adults they had happy hour twice a day: 4-6pm and 9-11pm. There was a restaurant by the pool that offered breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was a store in the lobby and a Starbucks that had wonderful snacks. Bottom line, it is a great hotel and you could spend the entire weekend and not need to go anywhere else.
The Hilton Fort Lauderdale is directly on the Fort Lauderdale strip, across the street from the beach. It's a great location if you want to be close to the action. The hotel is a bit older but the rooms are very large. We had a bedroom, living room, full kitchen and two huge balconies. There is a very good restaurant on site that is also a great place for a cocktail. They have a rooftop pool that faces the beach as well. I would definitely stay there again!
Enjoyable stay. The beach and pool were both fantastic. The staff were friendly and accommodating as well. I greatly appreciated the upgrade to the spacious and luxurious king one bedroom suite. My only complaint is having two choices for the breakfast buffet. Paying extra for eggs and bacon was a bit of annoyance as this is typically included at Marriott resort properties.
Excellent customer service! Every employee that we came in contact with was amazing. Received a personal text the night before our checkout date asking how our stay was and if we needed anything. I was able to request and confirm a late checkout with no difficulty before we even went to bed. The balcony suite we had on the north side of the building gave us a fabulous sunrise and sunset view! This is the only place to stay in Ft Lauderdale if you are looking for quality and care. Restaurant on the 6th floor gave scenic views and a gentle breeze. Areas for families and areas for adults only, allow every guest the perfect spot to unwind and relax. Don't even look for that anywhere else on the block.
I am staying here as I write this review. First and foremost the experience. If you want to be greeted and treated with the utmost respect this is your hotel. I am a stubborn traveler due to past experiences but this place deserves 10 stars. We are new parents and granted we are here for 48 hours I wanted the ultimate experience. John Allan and Mady Cohen went above and beyond to cater to us and make sure no stone was left unturned. The location is the best. Everything within walking distance. Room super clean and fully stocked. Maybe I am excited that we are on vacation and the fact that we checked in today but I can say this for sure if you want a 1st class hotel with excellent attentive staff and location I saved you the work this is it!!! Top notch!
