This hotel was very satisfactory. I enjoyed the privacy and other than the brown recluse in the sink in the first room I was assigned, I enjoyed my Summer stay here quite well. The Front Desk staff were friendly and conciliatory.

Me and my wife rented room S269. We wanted a romantic evening with a Jacuzzi room. After filling the Jacuzzi there were bugs and hair in the water. And the Jacuzzi jets weren't working at all, it was basically a tub of hot water. I drained the Jacuzzi cleaned out all the hair and bugs and refilled it. The ad says Jacuzzi fits two adults. It basically is for one full size adult and a midget size adult. I know my wife put this on her card for our wedding anniversary. I love her very much. But after staying here, I can't recommend this for any romantic evening. Now we have to check out.

Non frills logical alternative to casino lodging, clean, quiet. Mattress mediocre, basic room furniture. 5 min to casino, which is outrageously expensive to drink, gamble or eat.

We stayed at the Hilltop Inn in July. I chose this hotel first because of the price and second because it received decent reviews and looked OK for the price. However, I don't think I could have been more disappointed; the room was extremely damp (seriously, the carpets were actually damp from the humidity in the room), which had effect on our belongings -books became slightly warped, a sun hat, droopy, etc. The room itself was in bad need of updating and the combination of peeling paper, bugs on the walls and unidentifiable objects on the sheets really made for an unpleasant stay. To make bad things worse, we received a notice on our door the second day alerting us to the fact of salmonella infected water. I do understand that this really wasn't a problem of the hotel, but it was just the icing on the cake (none of us showered for 3 days!). I will not stay at this hotel again, and certainly would not recommend it to anyone.

1st off the man at counter could use a lesson in manners and being polite. 2nd as we were at our car we noticed a trio of umm let me see how to say ladies on call (hookers) being picked up in a car. Oh great just where I want my son to be at. We couldn't get out of both nights of our reservation so we were forced to stay. Dirty dirty dirty . My son opens a drawer its filled with crumbs and pennies .Morning can not come fast enough !!!

The night manager Bobby is a mean man with nothing to do at night but harass his guests. I would rather pay the ridiculous prices for a room at Foxwoods than ever come back to this shithole. DO NOT BOOK HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Nice staff, good a/c, clean room. Some problems: sheets are awful--like sandpaper. tv is down too low to see good from bed. And shower fills up in tub--gross. Shower made a shrieking sound, and is tough to figure how to make hot and keep pressure at the same time--annoying. But good shuttle to Foxwoods. Overall not a bad place to stay, but overpriced for the quality.

Jacuzzi suite was awesome. Bed was comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the jacuzzi it self wasn't cleaned fully from the last guest. There was still a ring of dirt around the tub. Service was great and the breakfast was delicious. Would stay again just probably not in the jacuzzi room.

Location was close to Foxwoods but not walking distance. They have a shuttle but are VERY particular about who rides in the shuttle. If you have more than 4 in your group you'll have to take another form of transportation or pay a hefty $23 charge per extra person just for a short shuttle bus ride. Hotel rooms are accessed only from outside, rooms smelled smokey but we're otherwise clean. Also, they say the last shuttle bus from the casino leaves at 245am, no shuttle showed up, instead at about 3 a shuttle bus dropped people off at the casino and as we waved the bus down it drove away. If you're staying the night it's a a decent hotel, just be wary about the shuttle services.
