I was here yesterday and it was a pleasure and comforting experience the staff care about your wellbeing or at least the showed they did. Today 12/26/2017 totally a missed, front desk personal while registering they ask if I wanted to see a Dr? Well I thought that’s what I was there for, the young men with the funny mustache did not seem to care, more likely he showed he was bothered by the patientspeople came and go and I’m still here I’m going into my fifth hour, and no luck, there is probably 12 patients in the waiting area , still they are not calling, it is so appalling to see me in the pain I’m with kidney stones and my pain goes unnoticed , where is the sympathy ? Why this people were selected, to get rid of patients? Next time I might be driving a little farther, just to get some humanity I gave a star to give an input, otherwise is a minus..bad business..
Terrible service, EVERY employee I encountered was very rude and hateful and make it very obvious they couldn't care less about any of the patients. I'd rather bleed out a slow death than ask anyone here (who are supposed to ONLY care about your health) then ever go back. Basically it makes a terrible situation way worse.
My experience was terrible. I encountered the ANM Fane And the director I believe plump with dark brown curls. Talk about one of their staff members being scared that they may kill someone. She said why would they put her in that assignment, she is going to kill someone. I would hate for a company not to have faith in me which probably why they are short staffed all the time. I would hate to be a worker in that ER knowing that someone that is your superior doesn’t have faith in me. My nurse Rossie and her boss with red hair were awesome. I hope they keep more positive people in their department.
DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!! Sat in Triage from 10-130 waiting on lab results by that time no one still knew anything. Last visit I had to literally leave AMA & when hospital personnel called for their "survey" it seemed as tho they backing their staff. Sad when u feel like you're better off leaving the place u came for help. No sense of comfort here
I know this hospital has a bad reputation for their serviceI had a bad experience with the er a few years ago, however, I was transported here as a direct patient for pneumonia and admitted immediately. My experience has been amazing! The staff is great, the food was fresh and warm and delicious! I even had a volunteer staff bring me a warm lavender scented towel as a spa treatment. Everyone had been so caring and helpful! After my bad experience with the er 4 yrs ago, I will say I'm blown away by the service I received being admitted this time. I can even say my experience was much better than Winnie Palmer where I gave birth earlier this year.
I had my first surgery in this hospital ..Everyone was has been amazing The hospital was Very Clean all staff were cheerful and very helpful .at first I seen these bad reviews of this hospital and was nervous. But my experience was the best and I would deff recommend. This hospital .
It looked like I had a fracture, so my physician wrote a prescription for a basic x-ray. He encouraged me to go across the street to Health Central so it could be read stat. My insurance said no pre-authorization was required for an x-ray. Health Central looked at my prescription and refused to do the x-ray unless they received pre-authorization. The clerk refused to call the provider number and ask the insurance company. if pre-authorization was necessary. She said everything she needed was in a notebook she held up and waved around. Her supervisor refused to talk to me. My guess is that their book speaks of "imaging" and does not distinguish between a simple X-ray and MRI or other advanced radiology. An MRI requires pre-authorization, but not the simple X-ray on my prescription. I will try to find a different x-ray provider tomorrow when stand-alone imaging centers open. If I have a fracture, I am not going back to Health Central to get a cast. In addition to other problems, Health Central's ER has a miserable waiting room. An ambulance crew unloaded a woman onto a circular couch in the ER lobby. She was writhing and moaning in pain. The hospital left her there the entire time I was on the phone with my insurance company. I am glad she wasn't throwing up or bleeding, but it is hard to get the memory of her agony out of my mind. My cell phone ran low on power while I was waiting. There were very few electric outlets in the waiting room. Most were directly below a television where the noise would make it hard for me to make a call. I found a hallway with no furniture where I sat on the floor by an outlet. Because of my injury I had my own agony siting down and getting up again. With the long waits, I am sure there are people who would appreciate a convenient way to recharge cell phones. .
Never going back here again. My er nurse Melissa gave me such a hard eye roll I thought her eyes were going to get stuck behind her head simply cause I refused the catheter because I was already in pain because of a procedure I had gotten done earlier. Dr. Was good though but nurses SUCK
The last two times I've been there, they put me in a back room in the ER and forgot about me. Totally forgot. Both times I had to go outside in pain and wander the halls until I found a nurse who could help me. They were always surprised that someone was back there. Found out the doctors had already gone home. Good thing I wasn't dying, or they would never have noticed or cared.
I can't believe I'm waiting here for more then 5 hrs with chest pain. And I don't see the doctor yet.
Worse place ever to go in laber trust me the lord is my witness i got 4 kids i had my 1st at winnie palmer good place my 2nd and 3rd florida hospital so i had my 4th child at health central i heard alot of thing about this hospital but didn't think nothing of it because i really didn't look as bad as they said it was there until i went into labor OMG they took me to this small room with 4 section no walls just curtains just to see if im dilating and also to time my contractions n the baby heart beat this black nurse poked me at the wrong vain to place my iv witch was my cephalie vain instead of my main vain once i complain about it thats when she told me sorry and placed it in the right place were normal doctor's put it at witch was my main vain and after that they place me in the room were im supposed to have my baby i was nice then once i had the baby they place me in my own room the food was good once it was the day for me to get discharge the checked me i had to call them just so i can get what i needed the only time they checked on me was to tell me that my paper work was getting filled out this happened 6/19/17-6/21/17
I had to rush my son to hospital as he has asthma and upon me walking in they took him straight in. Doctors were immediately getting vitals and making sure he was ok. The doctor continuously came in to check on him to ensure he was ok. I highly recommend this hospital.
I recently had 2 surgeries at Orlando Health Central Hospital. I was very nervous but everyone made me feel well cared for right from my pre op visit. The doctors and nurses were amazing and took excellent care of me. I would highly recommend this hospital and their staff!!
Emergency room the worse I felt we were in a third world country. It is so sad that they are more worry of protocols and computers than the patients. You will find more people on computers than Doctors. On the other hand Dr. Raymundo Colon has no ethics and respect towards patients. This so call doctor is careless. I saw how he treated a young girl who was beaten and gave her a paper and told her in front of everyone "start reading." While she was in pain. I felt so sad and impotence because her rights were violated. Nurses are great but this Hospital should be under investigation people waited more than 5 hours. They of visit 3/12/2017
