I went into the emergency room for one specific thing: I was having a miscarriage. The attending doctor was extremely rude, barely spoke two words to me and seemed to be in a hurry to get rid of me. I was asked no questions about my health, history or ANYTHING. He ordered blood work through the nurse which she said were to "check my levels". They did not help me at all. A few days later I get a notification from a Lab that the STD screening Dr. Insignares ordered was negative. There was NEVER a conversation about this with me. He took it upon himself to do this. Not only that, the doctor is billing me "out of network" even though the hospital is in network and I have no control over who is in the emergency room the day I need to go AND I am getting billed by a pathologist from Parrish. I have been trying to speak to someone at their billing department and no one can find me. They keep giving me different numbers and extensions and I can never get a hold of anyone. I have instructed my husband for the future: If I am not conscious and you need to take me to a hospital, DO NOT TAKE ME TO PARRISH MEDICAL CENTER. And I advise whoever is reading: if you happen to be at Parrish and the Dr. is Insignares, RUN!!!

Everyone has a different experience when it comes to care at a hospital. The ER is well staffed clean and the care is much appreciated when your in trouble. Getting admitted to a room is equally as good. The beds are as usual ok for a while but no better or worse then others. The food is not bad and the cafeteria is pretty good for your guest to find something good to satisfi. The parking lot can use better lighting at night. The no smoking anywhere is great. The room temperature is comfortable for a warm person.

From the moment we walked in until we left EVERY single care giver was genuinely kind and sincere. ER. Dr. Garcia is hands down the best. His bedside manner is phenomenal—the way he breaks down scary terms into easy to understand words left us both assured and educated about the diagnose and how to resolve it. Plus, he asked multiple times if we had any questions and if we did, he really listened!!! It only took just shy of 3 hours to get checked in, seen by the doctor, tests ordered and completed, diagnosis and a discharge!!!! ! So impressed that I decided to write a thank you letter. To put the icing on the cake the ER Dr. Garcia folllwed up with a phone call the next morning!!! Who does that??? It really is a wonderful feeling when you know you are not just a number. Keep up the excellent work!!!! Even if it had taken longer, which I’m
sure it could depending on how busy they are, when you get treated with dignity and respect—it transcends beyond wait time!!

Horrible people. They don't listen,will talk over you and just plan treat you like garbage. They will only treat you for one issue even if you are there for multiple reasons. They will put you closer to death by walking into their hospital. The medical system is at an all-time low as the doctors don't listen to the patients, they listen to the drug companies by pushing more drug than your local street drug dealers.

Parrish will have you perish from this Earth.

Just delivered My baby girl this past Friday! And have to mention Dr Weinman who delivered my baby she was and is awesome in every way. Nurse Jodi who just went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable together their gentle and caring nature helped me along the way! I’m so appreciative.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Wife was recently admitted for stroke symptoms (blurred/loss of vision, half of her face limp, unable to speak, etc). Received excellent care from the time she arrived in the ER to the time she was discharged a few days later. Added bonus to have Mayo clinic expertise on hand via an R2-D2 looking robot. When seconds counted they were there for my wife.

Helpful and attentive staff working in calming, healing environment, no wonder Parrish is recognized nationally as one of America's finest hospitals. Definitely worth driving a few extra minutes north for safe, quality care.

Recently my youngest daughter required a diagnostic study, so we took her to Parrish. We were treated professionally and kindly, from the registration staff to the technician. Thanks Parrish!

My grandfather was at PMC for about 4 days. The hospitality and cleanliness was extraordinary. Everyone always asked if there was anything else that he needed every time before they left his room. Thank you PMC!

New to Titusville, I found Parrish Medical Center and it's family of caring employees to be extremely welcoming. The compassion, customer service and beautiful facility reminds me more of a Boutique hotel than a hospital. Great job!

Dear Parrish, I believe the people calling themselves "Doctors" would benefit greatly from reading this. It seems in all their studies they forgot they were treating people and not just sickness and disease. Please print this and display for the people with the title of "Doctor" to read everyday, lest they not forget what it truly means to be a Doctor.
Another solution would be to fire all the Doctors and let the Nurses Treat the patients, they are way better at it.

I swear to fulfill, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant:

I will respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in whose steps I walk, and gladly share such knowledge as is mine with those who are to follow.

I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures which are required, avoiding those twin traps of over-treatment and therapeutic nihilism.

I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug.

Doctors/surgeons(not going to call them out) have no bedside manner. The nurses took care of my mom and definitely had bedside manner. Good nurses. Bad doctor.

My grandson was in the ER Thursday night with a broken arm( the end of the radius bone was completely broken off) all they did was put a splint on it and said to call the orthopedic tomorrow ( the next day was good Friday so nobody was opened !) we took him over to Florida hospital the next morning to the ER where they did X-rays again, they called an orthopedic surgeon in and within a couple of hours the orthopedic surgeon put him to sleep and reset the bone back in place. If you every break a bone do not go to Parrish ER they really suck!! My grandson would have had to wait till Monday to get his arm fixed! I would drive an hour to Friday hospital for a broken bone before driving 15 minutes to Parrish!! I'm not a happy Nana with Parrish ER!! PS the staff at Florida Hospital could not believe they sent him home with a splint on his arm witch was coming undone when we got over there!! 1 star is all they get from me!!

I called to make an appointment on Monday and gave the receptionist my information and she said she'd have someone call me back. 6 days later- no call. Never have waited this long to have my appointment request answered, a call return, etc. unprofessional. Will not get treatment here even if they do decide to call back.

*Update* they decided to call back a week after the 6 days so two weeks later. Went somewhere else, obviously.
