Great place to stay not to far from downtown as it was easy to get to. Cheap Uber to and from. Included breakfast was ok As an enclosed breakfast is. Loved it
Nice Central location. Clean rooms. Super friendly staff. Good complimentary coffee, hot breakfast. Love it
Only giving 2 stars, mainly because upon telling the staff I had a service dog, they requested “papers” or a “sign” stating he’s a service dog. This is against ADA law, and the only two questions are allowed are: is he/she a service dog, and what is he/she trained to do? Please train your staff because it is quite frustrating and it really embarrassed me. Also, the breakfast was way subpar. He eggs were rubbery, the potatoes bland and the waffle mix was way too thin.
Very awesome hotel. The highest-floor rooms have the best views. There is also a hot tub. I will come again.
When a family member had a medical emergency while we were at Tybee Island for vacation, my mom and I stayed here, which is only a mile & a half from the hospital.
The staff were very accommodating. Rooms don't normally come with microwaves, but when we asked for one, they found one and put it in our room for us. Our room came with a refrigerator , which I believe is standard. This came in handy, since we were living out of our suitcases and restaurants.
Housekeeping could have used a little improvement. Our towels and washcloths weren't replaced every time they were needed, and one day, we had to ask the front desk for new washcloths after asking housekeeping staff twice before that.
Breakfasts were decent, and this is one of the major reasons why we decided to keep staying here, as opposed to finding something that would have been just a little bit cheaper. They actually serve hot food. Similar to any place like this, the scrambled eggs were a little bit questionable. But there was a different kind of meat every morning, boiled eggs were abundant, the fruit was decent, coffee was good, and I enjoyed the oatmeal.
The Wi-fi worked perfectly fine, and I was able to get some work done that was necessary.
Bottom line: This was a perfect place to stay in the midst of a crazy family emergency, and despite the minor problems, I would stay here again. I would certainly recommend it for the price we paid per night, which was very reasonable.
This place was very inviting with wonderful employees who made us feel like we were priority. The rooms were Immaculate and cozy. We definitely enjoyed our visit.
Room was clean and sheets we're obviously freshly laundered. I didn't eat the free breakfast because I woke up too late but the receptionist did tell me about it. Coffee was good. My stay was pleasant and the staff were very polite and friendly.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious with a comfy couch, bed was a bit firm for my liking, and there was no in room safe. There were two usb ports available for charging phones/tablets. The only parking is in a parking deck and it is fairly dark in the deck during the day because the lights are off. They have a free breakfast from 6-10am and all day coffee.
Very disappointing. Room was small, no window treatments except for a dark shade, refrigerator sitting on top of desk. No extra seating. I realized that the hotel is remodeling but to charge me $260.00 a night I think I deserved better or a reduced price for the inconvenience. Not only that but the night we used the pool & hot tub we found the floor was littered with Sunflower Seed Hulls and something black maybe Banana peel? The chlorine was so strong in the pool that is RUINED our Bathing Suits - bleached out the color so bad I have to throw them out. Generally we have always enjoyed our stays at Hampton Inns and have been loyal customers but this one makes me what to think twice before booking another stay with this brand.
I stayed at Hampton Inn & Suites for a short get-away with both my kids. Check-in was quick and easy. The front desk employees were professional and friendly when checking in. It was Easter weekend, and they were very helpful in informing me of all the festivities in the area for the weekend. Once I got in and got settled, they checked back with me to ensure the room was up to my standards and to make sure I didn't have any problems with the room. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. It is about 10-15 minutes from the downtown district, which I like because the downtown traffic can be a nightmare. But downtown is easily accessible from here. I visited Tybee as well, which is about a 30 minute drive from the hotel. The breakfast was great. Savannah is my new home away from home. I will definitely be back! You can't beat the price and the cleanliness!
They are currently undergoing renovations. However they have the best front desk staff! They are definitely going above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable visit, from recommendations on where to eat and what places are the best to explore. They made our quick girls trip away very memorable! I can't wait to return and see everything finished!
I very much enjoyed my stay with this hotel! The rooms and restroom was large, beds were comfortable and the Neutrogena products were great! Customer service was great checkin/out. They let me leave my car in the lot after I checked out while I finished up my seminar in the hotel next door. Breakfast was great! Waffles and oatmeal with all the toppings. Biscuits, sausages, eggs, and all the normal hot breakfast times where there too. There wasn't a pitcher of water laid out but the room attendant brought me some anyways. Very close to shopping centers and the Mall. I'd definitely stay again. There was some construction but it wasn't loud nor disturbed my stay. Thanks to Brandon and the other ladies who helped me during my stay.
Horrible! Nasty ! Disgusting!
Okay- I wasn't going to do a review at first but I am so upset! I am here for training, which means I have to have a good nights rest to retain the info that's ahead. Monday morning- around 3 ish . .. I woke up to find my bed had bed bugs! I saw one crawling on the bed and the other on the wall!!!! They immediately moved me to another room.. well guess what folks? This room have ROACHEs!! I called the front desk to see if they can come spray or something she lied and said she will send security. Two hours later, I called to see if they were still sending security- she said she sent security up here and then she said they didn't have any spray or anything to help me with and to wait on someone in the morningsecurity never came!!! So.. she asked if I wanted to move to another room- I refused! I don't want to stay another night here. I can't even sleep because I'm afraid something is going to crawl on me! I'm so disgusted. I'm going to be exhausted in the morning because of their pest issue.
First of all I want to say this review is not about the staff at all. That being said at the end of the day it's about the rooms and this hotel is not good. The lobby/common area is nicethe rooms are awful. They have made small adjustments in the bathrooms to update but the rooms themselves are straight out of the 80'sand not in the cool "Stranger Things" throwback way. It is clean but small and dingy looking rooms. Neither my wife or I would walk around barefoot on this carpet, I'm sure it was lovely 25 years ago.
Being in such a touristy area has given this hotel the opportunity to charge for low quality. I feel bad for tourists as this quality does not match the price.
