We stayed here for the Christmas Made in the South show and were very pleased with our stay. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The showers didn't have the greatest water pressure, but everything else about our stay made up for it! Next time we're in the area we will be back! Also the staff is very friendly!
Nice hotel in a quiet location but a fair bit outside Charleston. Pool and athletic facilities are clean and up to date. Rooms are also clean and up to date. I have stayed here several times and never had a problem. Good value for the price in my opinion. Staff has always been helpful.
This is a fairly standard Hampton Inn with the usual accommodations. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are some excellent dining options withing walking distance.
My parents stayed here over the holidays and we were really impressed. It was in a great location, with easy access to the freeway. The breakfast was decent and the service was friendly.
Lovely stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with the setup of our women’s retreat. The beds were so comfortable, I didn’t want to get up. Definitely recommend!
1st of all the staff here was amazing. The definition of hospitality. Great room and bed. I stayed there for 2 weeks, and the only negative thing i have to say is that traffic was a nightmare. Really hard to get out of there in the morning. But even with that inconvenience i still give it 5 stars.
Nice hotel, some maintenance issues that should have been easily caught before my arrival.
Great location , very clean and quiet. Highly recommended as a business hotel. Close to CSU and several good restaurants.
This place needs some serious work. The furniture in our room was severely stained. As Well As the furniture in the dining/breakfast area downstairs. The bathroom tiles are in need of a face lift, grout is missing in several places. The room smelled of smoke and staleness. We stayed in a so called suite with a pull out sofa, which looked like it had been slept on by a previous guest and never cleaned. This is not what I would have expected paying over 200$ a night.
The rooms are damp, stinky, and stale. Location it's convenient and plenty to eat and do nearby. The rooms are dated, the furnishings beat up, and the stay was less than satisfying. Once we notified the staff about our room they elected to tell us the AC was broken and move us to another room. The room seemed great until the heavy dose of febreeze wore off. The room was equally mildew smelling and damp. This was not what I've come to expect from a Hilton brand hotel and I'm extremely dissatisfied.
Nice hotel. Nothing two special. Outdoor pool. Ok workout room. They just upgraded to the new digital locks.
Beautiful Hampton Inn! Super helpful front desk staff, large breakfast in the morning. Close to lots of restaurants and shops. Short drive to downtown Charleston.
Loved this place. Room was very clean and well decorated. The outside pool on the other hand was so cold, felt like they filled it with ice cubes.
I checked into this hotel after spending a night in another hotel chain. I had to check out early for that other hotel. Let me tell you, night and day difference between the two. Hampton Inn is a great hotel with great rooms and good people. They check on you and make sure you have everything you need. This week be my go to hotel the next trip to Charleston.
I stayed in two rooms during my visit. Both had issues with the refrigerator making clicking noises during the night. I had to change rooms due to extending the stay. They were accommodating, allowing me a 1:00 checkout. However, they also let several college students from a baseball team check out after 4. Due to the backlog, I wasn't able to check into my 2nd room until 5:30. The second room had an A/C issue. When the heat or cooling air kicks on, it does so with a loud humming that has woken me up every night. There isn't a fan only setting, and they were unable to move me to another room. They said someone would come check on it buy they never did. I also discovered that my room doesn't close completely. It appears to, but the door doesn't catch. After housekeeping cleaned, my room was completely accessible. Even slamming it doesn't shut it. I just learned this today. I am locking it manually from inside and having them look at it while I go to work tomorrow.
