The fitness room is so small that If someone else is in there you feel awkward and there isn't much equipment. Otherwise the hotel was clean and had your standard Hampton breakfast.

Traveler Beware!!!! This property has had several car break ins. During my recent stay my Truck was broken into along with another guest in my party. The police said this was a consistent problem in the area and at THIS hotel. Save yourself a lot of headache and stay somewhere else!!!!

Very quiet, which made sleeping excellent. Comfortable, clean. Standard, well-stocked breakfast, with hot and cold elements. Nice rooms, nice staff, nice place.

Stayed at this location before, very nice. Not the best for downtown activities but excellent for traveling. Easy on and off I85 (even with the construction). Clean, modern rooms, and a good breakfast. And it's an excellent value.

I always stay at Hampton, anywhere, if I am paying, rooms are clean and the staff is professional, good breakfast etc, but warning, I stayed as part of a 1k + hotel gold package for Carolina Rebellion. I do not recommend doing this. There is *no shuttle* and you have to drive 10 miles through construction to the event. Taxi will charge you close to $40 one way. Also even though the event started at noon, the $$$ package customers had to wait until closer to normal check in times. I think if you do stay here for such an event near the raceway make sure it is a package with VIP parking so you don't have to park and walk a mile from the event after driving so far If not Embassy Suites seems a much better bet even if it is more $, you may spend that much on taxis staying here with no shuttle.

Great place to stay I have to compliants at all down to the shower and bed slept great Best friendly staff I have ever seen.. Breakfast was definitely out of this world I salute the lady that made it I love her hospitality

Nice for a one night stop over. Rooms are small and dated. Front desk person looked like they had a hard night when we checked in. She had a real hard time not yawning. Breakfast was a typical Hampton Inn breakfast.

Not very please. Morning staff seems to lack energy but afternoon staff very professional. Do not use gym. Had a sweat or musty smell when you opened door. Informed front desk morning staff but he seem unconcerned. Did not go back due to lack of cleanliness. Otherwise, worth 2 stars only due to gym and morning staff.

My review is more about the employees than the hotel. The hotel was great, very clean. The Hotel staff was amazing. We were greeted by a very friendly lady at the front desk. Each morning at breakfast both ladies working that area were very friendly and helpful. We also had the pleasure of meeting two of the maid staff who were very interested in how we were doing and what our plans were for the weekend. Finally I have to mention Kathy who works behind the scenes taking care of the laundry. She is a wonderful lady and super outgoing. I hope this review finds its way back to management and they recognize every employee that was there 5/5/17 - 5/8/17.

This is exactly what you'd expect from a Hampton Inn for the most part. I think the rooms were a bit small (not a lot of room between the beds and TV stand) and the breakfast buffet area got chaotic with lots of people running into each other. Seating in the breakfast area was well laid out and spacious though. One thing that impressed me was that there were a ton of electrical outlets in the room, including USB ports built into the nightstand. Your devices will definitely be happy. Overall, a good hotel for the price.

The location was great for us. Close to the speedway, shopping, and lots of restaurants. The staff was very friendly, and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again when going to Charlotte for speedway events. It is close enough to the speedway to be there in about 15 minutes, without being too close and having to deal with all the surrounding traffic, and the rates were better then the closer hotels. We always choose Hampton Inns because of their consistencies, and this location is consistent with their brand.
