Stay was fine, the room was in good shape but we didn't stay long. Decent cafe on site.

My family stayed at this Marriott for a Soccer tournament on November 17th to 19th. We accidentally left a knife and a flashlight in the nightstand next to the bed. I called as soon as we got home (about 3 hours later) when we started to unpack. We called and spoke to a receptionist who lacked empathy. She simply stated the room was just cleaned and that it was not found. She spoke to myself and my husband that evening. She did state that her manager was not in but she would have the manager call us the next day to follow-up. Neither my husband nor I ever received a call letting us know this was investigated.
I know that accidentally leaving something in the room is all my fault but being we asked for a call back and were reassured we would receive one, and yet never did I am very disappointed. I guess it seemed like a very nice Christmas present for whoever cleaned the room. I will not stay here for the soccer tournament next year nor book the room for the other players.

Customer service here is great! I'd like to personally recognize Geanette, Joe, Jordan, Dave, and Kuri. These people always had a smile on their face, provided great customer service, and were extremely kind. The hotel was located near multiple restaurants. The best was a local, great, upscale restaurant called Webb's Country Kitchen. Don't let the name fool you. Fabulous food! Don't miss it! Reasonably priced.

The room was absolutely wonderful. The king sized bed was incredibly comfortable. The temperature was good and the staff was kind. It was wonderful having the waffle House and cracker barrel just around the corner. The only improvement I could have made is to have the room be slightly more spacious.

Was there to attend a wedding. The set up was beautiful and the food was delicious. The whole staff was pleasant and helpful.

Great place to stay. Especially if you're traveling for work. The staff is great! Just be careful with the coin eating laundry machines. You might get taken. And be sure and lock your vehicle. There is really no security and not much in the way of camera security. Things were stolen during my stay from co-workers in the parking lot.

People were very attentive to our needs and when our room wasn't up to par, they moved us and gave us all breakfast vouchers! Great customer service! The pool amenities were also nice and very clean!

This hotel is the best in Gastonia! I've brought my family here several times and enjoyed every stay. The staff is very professional and helpful. One employee here was particularly helpful during our current stay. Kimberly Graham went out of her way to ensure my wife and I had a very memorable 20 th Anniversary. I couldn't thank her enough for all she did. I'm a business owner myself and wish I had employees as dedicated to helping their customers as she is. The rooms are spacious and clean . All amenities were set up nicely, and we're quality brand. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Charlotte area. WORTH THE DRIVE!

Didn't have our room ready until 145pm. Called multiple times and nobody answered the phone at all. Worst experience at a Marriott that I've had. The only positive was the polite maid that was working on the 3rd floor. The guy that was working that night was extremely helpful and polite. He went out of his way to accommodate us.

Stayed in the King Size Room with Double Bed Sofa! The room was very nice and clean. The two head shower was to die 4! OMG! I really enjoyed my rest. I slept like a baby. The front desk guy was very cordial

This hotel was very well decorated and the reception staff very friendly. Our room was missing the TV remote, but they brought one to our room immediately. The beds were clean and comfy and the shower had 2 heads which was interesting. We enjoyed the newly renovated pool, but be careful in there. The tile is very slippery when wet.

Fantastic overnight stay. We didn't take advantage of the many amenities the hotel had to offer since we were just there a short time, but we had a great stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. Location is great. Shower was wonderful! I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area!
